SteveDec 21, 2002Despite a strong "what-if" story, the game itself feels like it was released 6 months too early. Wait until they fix the install-stopping, game-stopping, gameplay-stopping bugs before considering this as your next purchase.

BlakeB.May 14, 20075 because it's a mediocre game IF you can get it to play. I'd probably give it a 6 if I could get the multiplayer to work, but if I take the bugs that stop others from playing into account, I'd give it a 2.

Computer Gaming WorldIsn't as bad as getting trench foot or being castrated by shrapnel, but it's still so full of tedium and frustration that paying for the game is pretty much an act of self-flagellation. [Feb 2003, p.98]

Though it sets up nicely with a strong storyline, it really just becomes another mission-based shooter game.

The story is what really what makes Iron Storm rock!
