    Intrepid Izzy takes aim at both those nostalgic for games of 30 years ago and a younger crowd. It’s not that long and no part of it is truly terrible. If you’re in the mood for a light and easy action platformer then this one might be up your alley.

    This is a very vibrant, happy, platform game in which you play as Izzy and beat the snot out of any creature you encounter. In platform gamesThis is a very vibrant, happy, platform game in which you play as Izzy and beat the snot out of any creature you encounter. In platform games the controls must be spot-on or else the game will feel just wrong and cheap. Luckily the controls are great! Every jump goes exactly where you want to go and every punch feels satisfying.
    The style of the game really screams “Blue Skies in Games” (for those who remember UK:Resistance’s mantra). Everything is like one of the best ‘90’s platformers of yesteryear, but in HD. Beautiful levels, vibrant colors, and not an edgy gangster in sight.
    Throughout the game you will find new outfits that will give you some new skill, which will help you reach new places or find secrets in past levels. And yes – there is a Ninja suit! Everything works really well, and with the map you can always find the part of the level that you haven’t reach yet, so you’re never stuck for a long time.
