  • Summary: First days at school are usually tough, but they can be even tougher if you’re helping a blind 8-year-old boy named Ian who doesn't know the terrifying dangers that lurk around in every hallway. You play as North, Ian’s lifelong canine companion. Can you help him escape alive?

After 8 hours, over 650 deaths and having to physically leave my computer, I finally finished. With it’s linear story, that only included a total of 2 puzzles, there isn’t any replay ability. Although there are a few albeit weak points that could redeem itself, I wouldn’t recommend this game.

The nice art style is let down by some bad camera angles, weak voice acting and unbalanced environments.

The premise for Ian's Eyes has potential. If done correctly, a horror game that revolves around a glorified escort mission can be a tense and entertaining experience. However, there's nothing here that can be considered well done, as the game simply strives to emulate all of the bad parts of the old survival-horror games without the good parts with that came with it. Even if you're a die-hard survival-horror fan, there's very little that's worth checking out in Ian's Eyes.

Ian's Eyes is a game where you play as a guide dog to get your master, the 8-year old and blind Ian, to safety. Besides from the concept, every other aspect makes you wish you would see everything from Ian's point of view.
