Feb 6, 2017New adventures of a bald assassin make the Hitman game playable for newcomers as well as for hardcore fans ¬thanks to the rich content and a wide set of options – surprisingly without major compromises, although not without some technical issues.

Nov 3, 2016The season ends with a cliffhanger of sorts – of course – which sets it up for Season Two; still, I’m still left wondering what exactly is happening. Perhaps played all at once, Hitman‘s story would make sense, but this episodic system has done nothing for it.

Nov 7, 2016Hitman: Season One has it where it counts. Its ten missions consist of far more hits than misses, and its open-ended levels are able to sustain hours of obsessive repetition and mastery. The overarching narrative may be unimpressive, but each location is well-conceived and believable, full of fascinating details and hilarious overheard conversations.

Nov 1, 2016If rushed through as a six-map story-led affair you’re perhaps going to feel a little short-changed, both in terms of length and in terms of dramatic satisfaction. I very strongly recommend playing it the way I did: it’s been so refreshing. Make each level the focus of a string of weeknights, exploring every corner and taking out every target, rather than ditch it the second you’ve played it once.
