It's a very interesting game to play from time to time, but I didn't think anything was too much.

The gameplay is very unique with a focus on stealth and the various ways of completing a level, generating a very high replay value. The maps in general are very good and have 'secret' areas. I just thought the game is too easy. The story. She is very ok, but let's agree that nobody

The story. She is very ok, but let's agree that nobody plays hitman for the story. The protagonist has no goal and does not seem to seek anything, it is just a tool. But my real problem with the story is because it is divided into chapters, the end of the game is totally open, they could have closed an arc or something like that and therefore my 'low' grade.

The graphics are so beautiful and the cutscenes even more (even being a billionaire).

The soundtrack adds practically nothing to the experience.

    Hitman misses the mark...

In fact, this game misses its primary purpose and scope, in interest to generate something that is loosely based on hitman mechanics from 10yrs ago, combined with newly developed morality. Neither of which is what this game genre needs. In one hand you can applaud the developers for going back to basics to recreate something close to Blood Money, but in the other hand, isn't this too far basic? Ok, the graphics has changed, but mechanics, and animations, are behind the time. There is simply no sense of "tactical" in this game. Still awkward views and motions. Second, you would expect that openness and simplicity of achieving the task as in BM is one thing that they would have adopted, but instead, while map is open, most actions in the game are triggered. This means that they will not happen unless you are following the series of the events. Very rudimentary, very lazy approach to create more depth. Third, interactions with people around is very unnatural. It feels like interacting with rag dolls. Again, developer implemented very lazzy approach to give NPCs some character by filling the game with chatter, while completely disregarding the AI elements and dynamics which these characters should have. Next, what is up with the morality theme? You all the sudden cannot kill anyone, or you are heavily penalized for killing a "non-target". If this is the route they are taking, then please rename the franchise into CIA Agent (pardon: "CAI"...) and stop eluding the players. Lastly, armament. Yes, once pride of the Blood Money, having the great toolbox of weapons and accessories, is simply gone. Why bother with all those guns if all I ever need is suppressed pistol??...totally pointless.
What are the good things in this game? Well, definitely graphics. The Square Enix's ambition to create almost photo realistic graphics in their games is unmistakable. All in all:
    Graphics: 9
    Sounds: 8
    Animations: 5
Dialog: 0 ... has it ever occurred to this developer, that one of the best qualities of hitman is being able to mislead and being cunning...how do you achieve that if dude is not even talking..
Game Mechanics and world interaction: 5
    Replayabilty: 6

In conclusion, this is not a hitman. Game can be entertaining, but it is very simple and lacks depth. if they have taken John Vick movie, and dressed the main character as bald guy, they would have made epic hitman game..

An very immersive stealth/assassination game with numerous ways to complete missions --
the variation of gameplay tactics offered for each mission gives the game a good amount of replayability. But in spite of that, Hitman 2016 is highly devoid of a decent plot, character development and overall content; and is made worse by its episodic format.

Paisaje hermoso, múltiples formas de asesinar a tu objetivo y todo el contenido, pero... NO SE TIENE QUE LANZAR POR EPISODIOS.

not bad game, but not good either. The story is decent, scoring is great, visual is so amazing, and the voice is also decent

Good game, carefully crafted, a good iteration on the well known franchise formula. What I disliked the most was the episodic way to release it. It could have been a great game but the publisher's greed made it a sour experience to purchase the game in this new episodic way.

Enjoyable game, it's really short if you don't plan on replaying missions for the challenges and mission stories. But doing those things is enjoyable for me. Story is decent but picks up in 2 and 3. The gameplay is pretty good.

Multiple targets, multiple methods to assassinate and multiple maps. That sums it all up.
The only and the most important negative point is AI. AI is what this kind of games need. AI could be lot more better. After killing a target, guards search area for few minutes. Then they put the dead body in a bag and that's it. After that they stand where they were before, as if nothing special

Which made game look unrealistic.
But generally it's a decent game with cool graphics and great stealth mechanics.

Surely the episode pricing on launch was a very bad decision. All maps have an extremly high replayability. At the time I bought the first Map "Paris" and had fun for about 40 hours.
On Sale I bought the second map "Sapienza" but after a few rounds, I was really satiated about this game, and had no interests in buying the other maps. You have to learn the maps, which is an invest in time

After a year or so I thought I could look in again for some map sales, but there was only one option, namely to buy the full game. So at the end i payed more that I should have to, this was dissapointing.

I had an amazing time with the game. There are some minor issues like crashes here and there. The real 2 problems is that it's kinda short and it has not that decent AI.

Игра довольно скучная. Геймплей намного хуже, чем в absolution и hitman 2 (2018). Сюжета тут вообще нет. Hitman 2 хотя бы был более продвинутым и интересным, чем вот это.

While obviously rectifying the mistake that was Absolution. It still streamlined every single aspect of Blood Money. It's too easy. At its core, the difficulty is fully customizable, and the levels have a lot of replayability. So it's up to you if you want to see everything through the walls. So it's up to you if you want to see everything through the walls. But most people will choose the path of least resistance and just pick the opportunity and brainlessly roll through targets. Don't get me wrong, I don't want Codename or Silent Assassin difficulty, where you are essentially forced to abuse AI for perfect stealth. But you know, Blood Money does exist. Also, 1/3 of the plot as IOI split the game into episodes and separate instalments for money. Which is always great.  Expand

Really nice dialog, level of detail is great.

The game feels too easy, short, and sometimes the AI is very easy to fool.

Square Enix's decision to separate the game into several episodes and market the game as a “Season” may interrupt with the storytelling of the game, but it also takes the game back to its roots, putting you in a sandbox full of opportunities and choices. Not all of the episodes are on par with each other and the “Opportunities” helping method makes the game feel a bit too easy and straight forward. But other than that, the game is a great addition to the series and fans of the series (especially “Blood Money” fans) would love it.

New adventures of a bald assassin make the Hitman game playable for newcomers as well as for hardcore fans ¬thanks to the rich content and a wide set of options – surprisingly without major compromises, although not without some technical issues.
