Oct 16, 2016The 5th episode of Hitman is a culmination of everything that was good and worthy from the beginning of the season till now. IO offers us a well balanced level, both in terms of gameplay and performance, and finally some love for the Contracts mode with the added Kill Conditions. We've almost reached the end of the line for the first season and we can't be more excited about the finale and inevitable cliffhanger.

Sep 29, 2016Colorado isn't the most visually appealing or intricate level in Hitman. But it provides some much needed variety—a change of scenery and challenge that rounds out the Hitman experience. It feels as if IO has spent most of this season demonstrating that it can still get Hitman right. It's nice to see they're now confident enough to move away from the template they've created.

Sep 30, 2016Hitman – Episode 5: Colorado gives to the players four targets but very few opportunities to choose. The map is different from the previous locations, even though the level design is quite linear.

Sep 30, 2016Sometimes you ask yourself, if the repetition of tools etc. has run its course, but then again you’ll find more creative and entertaining assassination options than in the last episode, while the story starts to move forward finally.
-
Oct 3, 2016Episode 5 is a breath of fresh air for Hitman, after the not-so-brilliant missions in Marrakesh and Bangkok. This chapter is harder and you need to be smart in order to take down more targets than ever. Still, we enjoy 47 more when he has to infiltrate some civilian mansion and not a militarised orchard.
-
Oct 4, 2016With no civilian aspect to the map at all, Hitman Episode 5: Colorado is a shift in gear from the previous four missions that’s both refreshing and a disappointment.

Sep 28, 2016I appreciate how different it is, how on edge it kept me. This is a game trying not to fall into formula. The tense, never tenser, could all go a bit Frank Spencer structure is probably going to offer some great things in terms of Hitman’s now-traditional drip-fed new contracts and elusive targets. Maybe we’ve had enough spectacle and bustling streets now: maybe purebred stealth challenge is a vital change of pace, and escalation.
