   This is an amazing game, it's an FTP first-person shooter that's set in the European Theater of WWII. You start as a standard infantryman, but as you increase in rank you can unlock new classes (like tank crewman, fighter pilot, recon, and paratrooper). The game also allows you to unlock new weapons and vehicles through both rank and by earning combat ribbons (basically an achievement system). There is also a place to get together with friends of the same class and form a squad so you can all play together (number of friends in you squad is dependent on your class, i.e. infantry can have six, while tanks can have three). You can also have multiple soldiers, so you can have a variety of classes to play with (I have an infantryman, a tank crewman and a fighter pilot).
   There is also a place where you can pay to unlock vehicles and weapons early (although for tank crewman, if you buy a heavy armor off the bat you will not be able to use it very often until you get to a rank where there are heavy armor squads).
   Another neat feature is you can unlock upgrades for your weapons, like a hair trigger for your guns that will increase ROF but decrease stability. Or for tanks and jeeps you can get infantry support crates (ammo and health, or anti-tank weapons).
   All in all, this is a great game and it's only in beta form. It has a great diversity of classes, weapons, and vehicles. If first-person shooters are your thing, then you should definitely try this game, and since it's free, it can't hurt to try it.… Expand

I have not payed a single penny or cent towards the makers of this game, and I still find it very enjoyable. It is a fun, authentic WW2 game in which you can pay to unlock things faster, but its not an impossible grind to get the things you want. Any way it is a free game so you should download it and see what you think!… Expand

   I don't agree with what many other claim, that the game is P2W. However there are the option to run a premium account, and as in all other F2PI don't agree with what many other claim, that the game is P2W. However there are the option to run a premium account, and as in all other F2P games, certain advantages are given for buying premium. You are not immortal, faster, more accurate or the liking, when buying premium, you earn more XP, as in all other type of premium memberships, and you get to strap an extra badge to your soldier ( Badges giver a slight slight advantage, i.e. able to sprint a little longer, or hotwire a vehicle a bit faster) However badges are available to all, and every player can add at least one badge.
   
   That being said, my feeling of the game, is that is has spiralled downwards in the last couple of years. It has been a long long time, since I enjoyed a game of H&G.
   
   Pro's.
   It's a WWII shooter, with vehicles like BF, but with a more realistic(ish) feeling to it.
   You can play up to 6 friends in a squad
   You can customize many many things, even type of ammunition
   There is a solid amount of hours, grinding to unlock, so you don't end up in the end-game within a week.
   
   Con's
   Even though you are supposed to be able to play with 5 friends in a squad, you damn better be patient for that to be happening, or just play with a single friends, matchmaking is to **** You can easily wait 15-20 minutes for a 6 man squad, all hours of the day.
   Realism has taken a backseat to balancing mechanics, like spotting markers
   Every customization cost huge amount of in-game credits, and even your basic gear wears down, and has to be "repaired" I know that if my rifle had been that sensitive, I'd better bring a boxing glove instead
   
   Matchmaking with friends is an unbelievable hassle, with so many things going wrong before you can just play a simple game.
   Developers seem to be quite sensitive about criticism of their game, and seen as Danes are the main company behind it, that feels strange to me as a Dane.
   
   Conclusion, at this point, all my friends and I have abandoned this game, they keep updating it, but every time it seems to be getting worse.
   I used to like it, and we used to play it a lot, but no one is enjoying it anymore.
   I can NOT recommend the game… Expand

   2016 update.
   Jesus christ ! Ok where to begin.The game is mildly P2W. If you grind HARD you can overcome that but i think i lost a few years2016 update.

   It's pretty fun.
   
   The bad things.
   THE GAME IS CRAWLING WITH HACKERS ! Full and I mean not BF3 full - remember the hacker guy who revealed that about 70% of BF3 players were hacking? Yeah WORSE.
   
   Much WORSE.
   Basically every **** with a pipe rifle headshots you from across the map with no scope.
   And when you say this on the forum the replies FROM THE BLOODY DEVS are "git gud" "l2p noob" or a variation of the sort.
   
   The community is horrid, and it would make MOBA communities look EXEMPLARY by comparisson.
   
   It starts fun and it is fun to play with friends but even so you run into moronic design choices.
   If your friend is a tanker and you infantry you CANNOT both queue at once. Nope, you have to "random queue" and HOPE you get put together! Yes...idiotic.
   
   Then there is the whole hitbox issue that they KNOW about for 2-3 years and is still there.
   Basically you POINT BLANK unload a clip in the guy;s head and then he turns around like nothing happened and 1 shots you. Hitbox randomness lol.
   
   Stay away from this putrid garbage of if you MUST try it - AVOID American faction like the plague. This faction never EVER wins ( i have like 1 win every 78 loses or something and I usually TOP the scoreboard in "points" for capture and objectives ) because every **** retard runs around "sniping" and basically being a total **** while the nazis mow us down.
   Go on the nazi side at least that's "easy mode".… Expand
