    Although Heretic II deviates a bit from the original game, and changes to the third-person perspective, Heretic II is third-person actionAlthough Heretic II deviates a bit from the original game, and changes to the third-person perspective, Heretic II is third-person action fantasy at its finest. This game has excellent controls, smooth camera movement, and the idTech 2 engine really looks great as well. The Kevin Schilder soundtrack is a great compliment and really sets the mood for the environment. If you consider yourself a classic PC gamer, this title must be in your collection. Hard to find it but definitely worth buying!… Expand

    The first Heretic was AWESOME, its sequel, HeXen was amazing! But Heretic II, it's not even a Serpent Rider game!     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First part Heretic is based on first person mode and so it should be in Heretic 2. Unfortunately it is not. Heretic 2 has a lot of the element from Hexen, mainly Mana. Why? Why it is not like a first Heretic?
    Gameplay is not similar to Heretic 1, it's boring and final boss can not be killed.    … Expand
