They've just started a new career as a police officer at the Axon City Police Department, except they've been trained as a conflict de-escalation officer and aren't allowed to carry any weaponry. This has not gone down well with their partner Ember, a fire elemental who usually solves problems by chucking a fireball at it and cleaning up the mess afterwards.

If workplace drama wasn't enough, the city has become embroiled in a massive conspiracy involving corrupt government officials, a cult of mysterious witches and an army of militarised pirates who want nothing more than to reduce the city to a a smoking pile of ash.
Oh, and Hunter also appears to be slowly transforming into a mermaid!
Will Hunter be able to work out what's going on with their transformation before it's too late and they wind up stuck as a woman forever? I mean probably not, if you've played any of my other games you already know the answer to this question, but maybe they'll find a way back to their old self! There's a first time for everything, you never know!

Lached Up Games gets more confident and ambitious with every title. The 15-20 hours that Help! I’m Turning Into A Mermaid! takes to run through make you wish that the developer had a bigger budget to work with, but you’ll be glad that games like this somehow get made in the first place.
