Grass Cutter is a game where you play as a lawn mower. Your trying to finish lawns while all types of obstacles get in your way. It gets even tougher when EXTRACT a company creates a new type of grass their experiment goes wrong and Monsters start coming out of the lawns. There are ten different types of monsters, as well as five unique bosses. Don't worry because you have tons of different lawnmowers as well. You must purchase them, but they all have unique abilities. Some can get force fields, become invincible , fire homing rockets, and so on. There is a bunch. there is even Marvel and DC based ones like Deadpool and The Flash. You will also unlock skills as you go. It starts off really easy, but the difficulty ramps up a lot. It is a really fun challenge. I found myself playing some levels over , and over again trying to complete them. At 5 or 6 dollars this games price it is a amazing value.
For the Achievement hunters out there this is a great one to add to your collection as well. You don't have to finish the game to collect them all. you can probably get them all by level fifteen. The problem is even after you get that complete game you won't be able to stop. It's very addicting. One of the main things that kept me addicted besides just the crazy fun level is the music. The music is super catchy. I wish you could listen to songs in the menu really, because i enjoyed all of them very much. The look of the game is very retro and simple. Almost to a point where your not expecting much from it, then your blown away as you get a few levels in by the depth of the game, and the amount of fun your having.
Is it for you? If you can handle a challenge I think it's about for anyone at any age. The monsters, obstacles, mowers, weapons everything just adds up to a really enjoyable game. I'd even go as far as saying one of the most under rated Indie titles this year. So give it a try let us know what you think. Hopefully they add a coop option to it. I'd love to attack some lawns and monsters with a friend in couch coop. That would be a blast. Or even verse them in cutting lawns faster, until then just have to keep up with the level times to do my bragging :)
