    I only played the campaign (no multiplayer) and like all GTA games, it was enjoyable.

    It is near impossible to enjoy most of GTA Onlines features, I'm tralking about the CEO features and similar jobs.
    I started playing with a few friends over the weekend and this game at times is an absolute nightmare, everywhere are people with fighterjets, attackhelicopters and armored cars with mounted guns with just one goal: ruin your mission.
    We never got more than two cars into the garage during the CEO-Jobs because of people like this.
    One time a Hyrda( jet with auto targeting missles), a guy with a minigun, and some other attack craft camped at out HQ constantly killing us.
    So we tried finding a new session... no luck we couldn't find any session without some I presume children dethmatching the whole time.
    What a **** community... The answer: Private sessions with only your friends, but nooo in a private session you can't register as CEO, brilliant game design.

    BUY INGAME MONEY!!

    The game is grindy as hell, so that you buy ingame money to progress faster, with every big update like the Dr. Dre one you have to purchase another Firm to acces new features(wich is expensive) and hey there is a freckin casino in the game, having no gambling problem? maby afer GTA Online ;-)

    Server Status?

    Yesterday I gave up playing with my pals because I couldn't join any Session they where in.
    I wasen't able to join any session at all this afternoon... brilliant.
    This wasen't the first time we couldn't join one antother.
    This most often happens later the day when there are more players online.
    Isn't Rockstar/Take2 making enought money for decent servers?

    Cheaters Paradise?

    On one of my first sessions I played for a little bit, the I started exploading.... constantly, verybody in the session kept exploding and becouse of the deathloop I had to restart the game.
    There are plenty of cheaters, imagine getting constantly killed by an immortal player... what fun to have.

    GTA Online is a mess because of bad game design, bad servers, greed and the worst community I ever saw in an online game.    … Expand

    One of the best works Rockstar Games has ever done, just the map design alone is a winner here. There's lots of great story missions and then there's also very bad/meh ones, so overall i would say GTA 4 had better story, but GTA 5 is still fun enough. But the real star of GTA 5 is it's open world, map full of interesting places, easter eggs and of course ocean exploring.     A great game ruined by a greedy company.
    When they added griefing pay to win vehicles and they're forgot to add a decent anti cheat the game died on official servers for people who aren't cheating of throwing a ton of money for shark cards.
    Also they they can't afford servers with the billions of dollars they made so the game is peer to peer and your IP gets leaked to randoms... Let's not    A great game ruined by a greedy company.

    интересная игра, понравилась задумка с 3мя героями. Огромный минус у игры нет Русской озвучки, читать субтитры и одновременно, к примеру, управлять машиной крайне неудобно.     The game is a good attraction, of the advantages here is a good voice acting of the characters and their characters.
    In the gameplay plan, there is a strange variety, the missions look different, but in the end we always have to either shoot or drive, which is a little annoying for the entire duration.

    Rockstar is doing great, good graphics, great storyline in the spirit of GTA. But online, why make everything so expensive, for the sake of buying 1 car, you have to play for a week. And it's not at all fun to collect boxes to take to the warehouse, but all kinds of tasks like races, etc. They bring in very little, almost nothing.

    after so many years since the release of gta, we have not seen any new projects, now gta is an mmorpg that just makes money, and how skyrim is ported to all platforms. This is very bad, I don't see any development in it.

    One of the most anticipated games ever. I counted down every day before the release (which was pushed back several times) and in the end I was happy with the final product. Unfortunately, success of GTA Online killed any chance for single player DLC and in 2021 there's still no sign of GTA 6.

    -VERY long loading screens
    -Many have problems even starting the game
    -Sometimes it just freezes in loading screens
    -Many hackers
    -Very boring earning money
    -You always do the same
    -Rockstar really just wants your money in this game!

    I mean, if you're reading these you haven't played which baffles me. The game is great... for 2013. The multiplayer has its moments but also can be very, very annoying. GTA V is such a slog to play multiplayer in if you want to get anywhere, or do anything. I have too many hours and am only level 120. The campaign is really good, Rockstar has some of the best open worlds in gaming and it'sI mean, if you're reading these you haven't played which baffles me. The game is great... for 2013.     The weakest story in GTA games ever. I only liked Michael side of the story, with Frankling being a far second. Trevor? don't get me started... Steven Ogg is great, but i can't stand his character at all, he feels so unrealistic and way over the top, a massive contrast of the incredibly great Niko character from GTA4. We all have limits... and mine was "human Stew", that was my limit.… Expand

    I played only Story Mode and it was a fun experience. I really enjoyed it.

    Pros: ------- - Excellent Tarantino-like story, hilarious jokes - Beautfiul Open World with lots of details - Driving physics are quite good - Combat is fun, brutal and fast Cons: -------- - Missions are extremely scripted, so you have no freedom of choice or something - Open World feels quite empty.    I played only Story Mode and it was a fun experience. I really enjoyed it.

    Pros:

The map design is second to none and I'm a big fan of the graphics and general atmosphere.     The Cops and the driving are as unfun as in GTA III. Online sucks, Physics are a joke compared to GTA IV. The only thing that is good about this game is the Story, which gets boring after finishing it once...

    Ho finito tutto il gioco e posso dire che è tanta roba
    L'unica pecca è che dura poco la storia, se non sbaglio i precedenti gta hanno una storia più lunga quindi sarebbe bello qualche dlc, stessa cosa per gta online, le rapine sono poche e le ripeti di continuo e qualche dlc in più non farebbe male.

    Single player mode is glitchy and boring after some time. Plot is regular, worse than previous GTA games.
    Multi player is glitchy, boring and annoying. Cheaters, modders, griefers, trolls, scumbags, **** tryhards and more and more human trash is here. 10 years old losers that cant even read task so they fail everything they have to do in missions.

    This game is perfect. I'm so glad I preordered for half off! That's a 50% savings! I was contemplating waiting but that would mean less players online and higher price for impulse purchases.

    I'm glad I was intelligent and smart about this one. The online community is very robust and thriving! Edit: 7 years in and still one of the top played games. Such a healthy community.     A huge map with a great potential. Unfortunately, it is focused on multiplayer. There are a swarm of cheaters on the servers. The storyline is too short for this game. Not good and not bad.

Oh yeah, and also the Rockstar Games Launcher is required to play this on PC which is one of the worst launchers I've used in a long time.     Amazing game that will keep you occupied for hours. I only played Story mode which was a great experience. While at times it had some frustrating missions that felt like filler the amazing world and city built around this is fantastic and worth your time.

    Good game. But not the best, just like someone says. Music and story is amazing. Michael is my favorite character. Last mission i remember for long. Save Trevor and Michael is the real ending. I passed main story 7 times and play to 2020, now I'm not playing. Overrated game but good.     Геймплей разнообразен, что не может не радовать.
    Gta online - сборище мусора в виде маленьких тупых школьников с кривыми рученками, которые не попадают по кнопочкам. Дауны ливающие после прохождения половины миссии. Обрыги которые не понимают что происходит в игре и читеры 1300 уровня. Сессии в    Gta v - хороша. Местами скучновато, но в целом мне понравилась, особенно радует Тревор)

    The single player part of the game is a masterpiece, no complaints.

    The online part is a real shame, tho. It could be great if it wasn't OWNED by cheaters, and the devs give zero **** about it.

    Rockstar makes one of the best games ever and this one is a clear example. Amazing gameplay experience together with great graphics, tiny little details that make the difference, make this piece a great treasure. The only thing I dont really like is how its milked these days. We really need a new GTA!

    After the long wait, PC-gamers get what they have been hoping for. We cannot deny it; the PC is the best way to experience GTA V. Rockstar optimised the game perfectly, and we are happy to start our third and forth play-throughs.

    This is one of the most important games of the decade, the story mode is great and iconic in many ways (Trevor is still one of my favorite video game characters). However, the game does come with it's downsides. First of all, Rockstar has done a terrible job preserving the online mode of this game.     Certes, le multi est bien. Vu son succès, c'est indéniable. Toutefois, le succès appelle aussi les mauvais côtés, comme un nombre incroyable de tricheurs (euh pardon, la communauté appelle ça "des moddeurs", lol) et d'abrutis dégénérés qui tirent sur tout ce qui passe. Et on sent que le jeu n'est pas vraiment fait pour ça, les premières heures sur le multi ressemblent à un genre de torture sans fin. Heureusement, via une parade de config routeur, il est possible de timeout la session et jouer seul, en multijoueurs (ce qui est totalement paradoxal), seule méthode pour éviter tous les boulets.
    Bon après j'ai quand même +400H sur le multi, j'y ai trouvé du plaisir (mais uniquement avec des amis dans des sessions "solo en ligne").

    Mais surtout, son plus gros défaut restera l'absence de doublages français, ça je ne le digèrerais jamais. J'entends d'ici les pro-VO qui vont me dire "ouais mais la VO elle est super, t'as pas besoin d'une VF" : bah les gars, c'est pas parce que la VF est dispo qu'on vous impose d'y jouer en VF hein, chacun fait comme il veut ! Par contre là, c'est forcé en VO de par l'absence de choix. ... Et tous ceux qui diront "oui mais le jeu il se passe aux states blablabla ils parlent américain c'est normal" je peux t'assurer que si tu fais un gros AAA (voire AAAA dans le cas présent) qui se passe genre en Italie, et qu'il n'y a pas de voix US, ça ne se vendra jamais outre-atlantique = argument rejeté.
    Je sais que c'est une pratique courante chez R*, toutefois c'est pas pour autant qu'il ne faut rien dire !    … Expand

Они из раза в раз будут перевыпускать игру на новые устройства и иногда делать обновления для онлайна.     The singleplayer part is good in all aspects and it's definitely a masterpiece, but the multiplayer mode is just a grindy mess with no fun, if you want to enjoy this game,singleplayer mode is my cup of tea.

    Rockstar we don't need your loading screen, just restart it, it's simple. we don't need endless loading screen after all failed mission. why i have to do that. just restart it, just restart, just restart, i'don't have to spend al my day for f**ing heist setup, i can't even find player.

    This game is good, but not at all. Story is one of the worse from GTA series. Driving is not bad, but I don't like it. Optimization is good, graphics are good. Weapon system, you can carry a 10 pistols, 5 carbines rifles, rpg, mini gun, 5 shotguns. Overall games is good for playing casually and for playing for fun.

You might as well buy Saints Row with what they have done to this game. Should you want to buy this game, I recommend NOT PLAYING ONLINE, but downloading FiveM and    Cheaters, griefers and a lot of shady R* business.

    This game contains:

    You might as well buy Saints Row with what they have done to this game.

    Should you want to buy this game, I recommend NOT PLAYING ONLINE, but downloading FiveM and playing that instead.
    Just make sure to find a server that doesn't require you to pay money for anything or create your own.
    On those servers, you don't need to worry about micro transactions or anything else, as everything can be unlocked (even the stuff R* wants to hustle you for) for free, or with chosen grind.
    It's basically a private server where you avoid R*'s bs.

    Single player campaign is great, can recommend.

    Disclaimer: I don't support nor play FiveM due to them breaching R* ToS by profitting off of the illegitimate GTA: V Online servers and making you pay for licenses in order for you to play with more than 32 people, even though you are using your very own system/server to keep the server up.

    Since when I got the game (pre-order that went lost, so got a different version later on (no, never got my pre-order stuff)) the game has just degraded, with an player base that only increases during sale and after big updates (those are basically summer sale cheaters and returning players wanting to give this poor excuse of a AAA game another chance), I have seen NO IMPROVEMENTS in the actual game, other than that loading screens no longer takes up to 1 and a half hours.
    IT WASN'T EVEN ROCKSTAR THAT FIXED THE LOADING SCREENS BTW.
    The game has become Saints Row, but worse.

    After I joined college I started playing PC games, and that was the time I began learning about gaming outside of Nintendo. Open world games were something that really fascinated me, so that was the genre I started from. I played Assassin's Creed and Watch_Dogs, but I didn't understand why normies liked GTA so much. I thought it must be because they don't know about bigger ad cooler games, until I tried GTA V myself. And I have to say, boy was I so wrong! This really is something unique, something I couldn't get in any other open world AAA game I had played to that point.
    GTA V is something I'd call the era defining game of our time. It has everything we want: A good story, interesting characters, a dynamic open world, interactive NPCs and most importantly, it can run on any device (other than Nintendo and mobile phones). I have a habit of playing games linearly, that is, going from point A to point B. I only care about the story of a game and explore the open world only after I complete the main story mode, so that I can delete the game in case my laptop starts going slow (it's an Nvidia 940MX), and also because I have too many unplayed games in my library and I'd choose to finish them rather than look at a game whose story I've already completed.
    And that made it even more engaging; because the story is really gripping and funny at the same time. In the beginning I was annoyed when Michael was shown the first time, putting his gun on Franklin's head. But after Michael's family left him I was really interested in knowing how he will fix things back. But then the scene shifted to Trevor. I was really annoyed, and I would always shift to Michael to finish his quests. But after I replayed the game after it became free on Epic, I realised Trevor's story was the funniest of them all. Now Trevor has become my favourite character of the three.
    The graphics are really realistic. And the best part is, if you have a high end PC you can download mods to make the game look as realistic as possible. There are even mods for bringing your own characters like Superman or Hulk, and the best part is that Rockstar, unlike other AAA companies (read Nintendo) encourages players to do it rather than punish them for the same. The NPCs are also very interactive. They behave just like how any person in real life would. Being an indie game developer myself I know how much effort goes behind doing this.
    Just by looking at GTA V you can see how much love the developers poured into making it. The game has been available for every console from the 7th generation and will also be for the 9th generation. Gaming companies should learn from Rockstar and take this example for their games too (especially Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed II would have been so awesome if it was remastered for PS5 and Xbox Series X). I really hope GTA VI is able to outperform this game. They can take as much time as they want, I have no problem with it.    … Expand

    Problem is , GTA has always been a focus on stories .
    It is accepted in this day and age to pay big amounts of money to obtain something virtually expensive and rare even .

    Online Mode shouldn't have been the focus but Rockstar knows where the money comes from so Singleplayer will rot and grow dust while till till this day as Online Mode becomes bigger .
    Online Mode is fun but it doesn't fit into the world of GTA .

    GTA is suppose to be a memorable story . An immersive single player world .

    Aside from that , Rockstar took YEARS to patch their long loading screens . Only to fix it when a modder attempted to decrease the time it took to load .
    The very basic loading screen wasn't fixed but Rockstar still pumped out new updates for Online Mode is a testimony for how Singleplayer gaming is dying .

    Rockstar thought it was a good idea putting A LOT more effort and work into Online Mode than Story Mode .

    Online Mode is fun and all but simply put it is Pay To Win and if you don't pay , you will grind .

    6 Stars at least because they have Story Mode which is decent .
    Story mode is not fun or entertaining . In fact it is 'ok.' It isn't bad but it isn't that great either .
    The start of the story is interesting but ends up being an uninteresting sluggish game .
    For a game that you have to download 90+ GBs it is overated in a sense .

    Could have and should have been a focus on purely Story Mode .
    Should have got the updates for Singleplayer Mode and the DLCs and etc .
    Could have been 9 stars easily if this was more of a focus on Singleplayer .
    And at least had a more amazing and memorable story .
    Online Mode is pay to win . Many people do talk about how toxic it is . Well , that is expected and it isn't something Rockstar can do much about . That is just how humans are at times it seems .
    But really it is ridiculous how they have shark cards where you can buy your way through the game .

    That is not to say that Online Mode is bad , it is fun with friends and all but Rockstar overdid it and left behind what made GTA .    … Expand

    Love the single player version. Did not enjoy multi at all. Spend like 20 minutes online. Maybe cuz my guys just did not play GTA those days. Not sure. But still strong 9 for single cuz love the story.

    If you guys see someone saying that the game is not optimized, i have a Radeon RX 580 16 GB Ram and i can run the game at 40 fps when theres alot explosions. And the game has alot of content and has good modders, you wont get that in any other game. 10/10 Sure modders can crash your game but you can combat them with other mods, and crash their game.

    One of the best pc games in history. Best npc AI and best open map missions. There are 3 excellent characters. They all have a deep story, their own responsibilities and their own motivations. Not to mention the online mode. The story mode alone can last +100 hours, and the online mode is endless.

    It is a beautiful game that can be in the top 10 of the most beautiful games I have ever seen. My PC is a high-end PC but even on a bad PC it's a nicely optimized game.

    If you hadn’t had a chance to play it yet at all though, and your computer can handle it, the PC version does definitely feel like the definitive version.

    We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
