Especially since you have removed old versions from sale, you are chasing modders instead of providing modding and tweaking tools for your games (they would show their potential!), But also you cannot renew your music licenses.

    In addition, in these games you have kept all bugs that were not corrected earlier and added new ones. You understand? This looks like an "alpha" version.

    The great list of things does not fit together here graphiccly, e.g. the end of the sea is visible in the distance, as if we were in a rectangle or on a flat ground. Clouds and sky are terrible, they don't suit these games at all (mainly GTA3). The rain is a shameful imitation of it.

    Optimisation is bad. All of the cites don't have it's own atmosphere and weather. The behavior of peds or the number of cars is the same, and it could be taken from GTA V (and many more).

    Most of the characters and npcs look terrible. I only like Claude.

    You didn't even add drivers to cars in the intro of GTA3 ...

    You guys really did a little work on it, because adding effects is a matter of the engine. Changing textures is a matter of upscaling and artificial intelligence. Sounds are too compressed. Quality lacking. Cities are empty as always.

    I thought that we will get physics from GTA V, new animations, that Claude will be able to fly the Dodo normally, that he will be able to swim, crouch, hide behind the walls. You could give a lot of new implementations, and for fans of old games, just leave them for sale. Then they would have a comparison.

    You have condemned the players to suffering. Either you fix it, or the shame will linger behind you, or give this trilogy away for free for owners of old versions. Or take another 2 years to fix it and get it right. And read player reviews, listen to them, not make it your own way!

    Powdered corpse, that's what it's called. There aren't many improvements here!

    You'd better remaster City Stories (LC and VC) to work on PC. This is what we can appreciate even with no changing in phycics and other important things.

    Really bad improvements for the price you gotta pay, pc mods are much better. I understand now why they released San Andreas on Game pass at day one. I give a one because of paying attention to these games again.

They are one of the richest developer and they cannot even relicense the soundtracks. On my RTX3080 I get just 60fpsThe worst port, Rockstar quality has gone downhill. They are money focused developers now who won’t give us GTA6, but bad remastered and shark cards. They are one of the richest developer and they cannot even relicense the soundtracks. The graphics, animations, and character models are the worst part of this remaster even though the environments are decent. On my RTX3080 I get just 60fps with dips @ 1440p which says how bad this remaster is.     Absolutely horrible game. I've seen better games that are free at itch.io. It's a laggy, buggy, resource demanding, bad looking, weird, horrible mess. It wouldn't surprise me if this is the end for TakeTwo and Rockstar. Such a shame.

    Judging by the quality of this, I doubt GTA 6 will be any better.

    This game is way scarier than Manhunt. Characters' models, bugs, missed collision shapes, draw distances, rain, buildings etc. Oh yeah, Rockstar, what about Manhunt? You gonna bow Sjw? Postal 3 was the worst game on Source Engine, Yandere simulator on Unity, and this one on Unreal Engine.

I know that getting the rights to the songs is hard, but don't call it the definitive edition if you can't get them. The models look like they were ai upscaled without any human interaction. Раздражает по большей не тот факт что это сделала маленькая малопытная компания (давайте буде честны на них вина лежит в меньшей степени), а что рокстар и тэйк ту банила мододелов, вырезала некоторые треки, дала маленький бюджет на разработку (я уверен что бюджет у этого ремастера сопоставим с двумя банками пива), наняла низкооплачиваемыхОтвратительный кусок кода, халтура чистой воды. But no, that wasn't all, they don't bother to fix old bugs, thats ok, they only fixed bugs that were history, not ones that sh*t your game, not only that, they combined og bugs with mobile or 10th aniversary bugs, if they game atleast work with no gameplay affection...     this game showcases rockstars departure from a caring game company to a cashgrabbing cow over the last 5 years. we can only hope whatever comes next sparks something in them. the countless bugs, calls for refunds and game breaking features should be a wake up call if anything to anyone who still managed to support rockstar despite their already huge failures.

    It's great to see an attempt of making graphic improvements to the game but this release is rocky, filled with quirky bugs the original games didn't have. A bad rendition to the iconic Grand Theft Auto games we all grew to love. The model replacements have often less character than the original and the gameplay is not different.     Absolutely pathetic by Rockstar games. Why would you give the responsibility of remastering these beloved games to a studio that did a terrible job with the 2014 "remaster" of gta san andreas ? The fact that some great mods for the games were taken down only to present us this pathetic mess is absolutely revolting. Get the original games, mod them to get a better experience than this.

Итак, начнём: убогие и максимально халтурные текстурки персонажей и окружения, криво сделанные с помощью нейросетей с кучей лишних полигонов, жрущих всю производительность моей видеокарты впустую; куча старых багов, давно убранных модами, а также куча новых багов; идущий сквозь океан дождь; криво сделанная камера в авто на новом движке, которая так и норовит уйти в изначальное положение (на старом движке с помощью модов давно есть возможность крутить камеру мышкой. Спасибо мододелам, которых вы так душите); отсутствие каких-либо пост эффектов как в инди-параше из стима за 15 рублей от школьника; напрочь испорченная в гта 3 переконтрастом картинка (да, контрастность меняется, но в таком случае игра вообще начинает выглядеть плохо), от которой на полном серьёзе начинают болеть глаза (особенно на VA-матрице), а играть нормально получается только ночью, что единственный случай, когда картинка приятная... Но это не заслуга разработчиков, а заслуга движка, на котором куча индюшатины сделана за 15 рублей и выглядит идентично, если у разработчика руки не совсем из жопы. Это основные проблемы, которые я заметил за час игры. В ютюбе ещё полно всего, что уже активно фиксится, но животные из take2 засудят их и заберут эти моды себе в gta trilogy definitive edition 2 за 90 баксов. Позорища, которые делали этот ремастеред, закрывайте свою студию и больше не занимайтесь играми.… Expand

    Халтура. Оцените как Resident Evil сделали ремастеринг, вот там все очень хорошо. Тут просто, решили заработать денег на продажи старой легендарной игры и даже не постарались перевести игру на новый движок, такой как GTA 5

This game plays much worse than the originals. For example, I am unable to complete a mission in Vice City because Lance can't figure out that he is unable to walk through walls. Cars love to drive into the ground and some streets are full on missing from San Andreas. In addition, they removed the fog form San Andreas, which was key to making the world feel much larger than it was. I don't know who made that decision, but I do want to know their thought process behind that. If you fly in the game now, it looks so much smaller than the original felt, which is more disappointing than a "nice view". There are a few good things such as a weapon and radio wheel, but I forget that they exist half the time. Also, if you fail a mission you can restart from the last checkpoint instead of having to hope you saved recently. It also helps keep your weapon inventory. However, if you die in free roam, all of your weapons and armor still disappear. They also added a highlight that goes around the enemies which looks nice, but I can't think of a reason to have it beyond that.

    The gameplay could've been improved in so many more ways. They could've added a cover system, let you keep your weapons if you die, let you purchase cars that you can keep even if you leave them in the middle of the map, added more customization options to the cars and weapons, add more clothing options for VC and 3, as well as other activities/minigames. I don't even work for Rockstar and I can come up with better ideas than they can. So can various modders on the internet that they feel the need to take legal action. That is basically Rockstar saying that since they are so incompetent to where their own customers can make their game better than they can, they need to "take out" the competition. Almost sounds like they're playing their own game in real life.    … Expand

    Broken, Ugly, Overpriced, i've seen mods and fan-engineered engines that blow this out of the water. Save your money... seriously, their choice of games shouldn't have ended up like this

    The games had tremendous potential to make a come back & get this generation to experience what people experienced 15 years ago.

    Rockstar OWES IT TO THESE GAMES! Period. if it weren't for GTA SA they wouldn't have been as successful as they are today.

    The "Definitive Edition" failed to:

    1- Renew the music licensing & preserve the amazing selection of radio songs that the trilogy used to include back in the day which are a core part of the experience.

    2- Apparently there's NO FOG anymore! which means the whole map looks way too small even though it's supposed to feel big. (The same applies to clouds, & I think they did this to showcase to people the increased draw distance.. But that's still wrong. You can have both visual effects & a better draw distance!)

    3- The iconic color tint shading of the original games is now GONE! everything looks way saturated... (GTA SA used to have orange/yellow shading everywhere. GTA III used to have dark blueish grey. GTA Vice City had a pink/purple look to it)

    4- The orange god ray lighting of GTA SA when you look at the sun is now GONE! The original light trails of GTA III for whenever you looked at cars or bright lights are now gone!

    5- The characters look way too cartoony, plastic-y & out of touch with the edgy style of storytelling that the games used to have...

    6- The games didn't patch older bugs. (INFACT... they introduced numerous new ones!)

    7- Character animations have not been upscaled in smoothness & realism. They're still PS2 like which is just way too lazy if you ask me. (They should've added more smoothness to those animations but still preserve their art style)

    8- Voice lines & SFX have not been upscaled in audio quality for whatever reason! they sound like they have low bit rate. (EVEN THOUGH.. you can literally listen to them in HIGHER BIT RATE/QUALITY if you emulate the 20YO PS2 versions on PC! ... I have no idea how is this even possible.)

    9- Unsolved Easter eggs that people tried to look deep into & built websites & forums to try & solve have not been clarified in any shape or form. they're still as ambiguous as ever.

    10- the list probably goes on...

    Keep in mind that they went out of their way to SUE THEIR FANS by shutting down & DMCA-Claiming community-built free software that their fans have built & kept alive for years to cherish these games but instead sued those who were the BIGGEST FANS OF THIS SERIES for simply "reverse engineering" their "intellectual property" that they're not even selling anymore.

    Os 3 jogos estão horríveis, nós gráficos com os bugs dos lançamentos originais, e novos nesse lançamento. Os áudios são os mesmos. não atualizaram para ter opção, de poder trocar áudio antigo e novo. Inclusive os áudios estão todos misturados, pois o áudio do GTA San Andreas está nos outros jogos. Muitas censuras que deixaram os jogos descaracterizados. Jogabilidade, que prometeramOs 3 jogos estão horríveis, nós gráficos com os bugs dos lançamentos originais, e novos nesse lançamento.     Just ruining the memories of three of the most influent games of the 2000’. Rockstar messed up with this one, every player it’s really really disappointed. We though they were better than this, but seems that all they care about it’s money. Awful job, poorly developed. I wouldn’t play it not even for free

    Truly disappointed, the game is completely broken and you can’t even buy the old original versions of the games because they got rid of the originals on the online stores.
    I thought Rockstar was one of good guys but I guess they’re money hungry after all.

    Nothing new. The graphic are marginally better but terrible for 2021. Prior to this release, there were mods for the original that had FAR better graphics than this. The mods were free if you had the game. The modders got sued so we get this instead.

    The worst thing I've seen so far, bad character designs, the rain is awful and many others glitches and bugs. Of course, the worst of the worst is the price, it's not worth it.

    I didnt even play this game. But after videos that I seen its 0 point. The atmosphere is lost, incomprehensible bugs and bad textures of some characters, also cut out the original sounds of the menu in 3 and Vice City. I don't even want to buy, these games are not worth their money

    Un remaasterd horrible lleno de bugs como civer punk 2077 casi o parecido tiene caras en los personajes horribles tiene bugs en animaciones anda a pocos fps para ser un juegi de hace 20 años además sacaron los títulos originales una lástima es uno de los peores remasteis que vi no lo recomiendo ni lo toco con un palo

    I've seen games from the early 90s look better than this ****
    Why can't game developers do a good job anymore?
    Surely just file for bankruptcy already.

It’s an absolute joke that company with such name as Rockstar is reheating a 20years old burger and thinking that they can get away with it. No old bugs were fixed, they were straight out into “new games” which only shows how much effort has been actually put into the development of this title. Thanks to Game Pass I didn’t have to waste my money on something that should not even be allowed to exist in today’s world. Pure scam, laziness and disrespect towards fans.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
