Challenging and addictive. If you aren't a die hard golfer you probably won't find this game enjoyable. The main thing this game is lacking is the ability to play the course you built.
-
The lack of any control over the game's timescale is a serious drawback. Otherwise the game does have it's own, albeit quirky, charm.
-
The Achilles heel of Golf Resort Tycoon is that not much happens for long, long stretches of time.
-
The challenges are too weak. The game moves way too slow.
-
As it stands, the game is worth briefly exploring, despite the small annoyances, but loses its luster when one begins to think of what it could (or should) have been.
-
GamePowerUltimately, it's frustrating and boring...the execution is fraught with problems and the end result is the world's ugliest five-star golf resort -- a hodgepodge of architectural incongruities.

MikeT.Sep 4, 2001Good graphics and gameplay engine. It could use the ability to play your own games though.

Mr.BeanJul 12, 2006The game is pretty fun and the graphics are quite good. It could, as many others suggested, use the ability to play your own courses.

FredM.Nov 2, 2001Good game, okay graphics, and okay fun level. You really have to sit down to expand your golf course. Overall 6!

HenryB.Apr 19, 2002It's a good game but it needs the ability to go play your course like Simgolf.
