    The game has 10/10 anime style visuals and soundtrack, interesting combat mechanics, great world building where even random bystanders feel alive.
    Story quest is interesting, and the characters are fully voiced (except MC, where they speak quite rarely, but they do have voice actors).     You get plenty of free pulls monthly for just playing (though trying to get a 5 star character can be frustrating), Rarity of either weapons or characters do not play a major role in gameplay and even your starting team remains viable with three star weapons in the current game version.
    The game can be entirely enjoyed for free and I did not have to grind at all so far.

    A phenomenal free game that combines the classes and effects similar to our age old pokemon along with a hack in slash adventure reminiscent of breath of the wild. It honestly is my favorite game as you can login on your pc and mobile device to play the same account so no matter your medium you can continue to progress!

    J'ai commencé à y jouer depuis la mise en route des serveurs et a chaque jour j'y joue. Incapable de prendre une pause tellement qu'il est dans mes goûts. Graphisme impeccable, bande sonore accrochant, système de combat très facile à apprendre et vraiment bien ficelés. J'aime beaucoup l'histoire et aussi le fait qu'ils ont ajouté un genre de battle pass comme dans Fortnite, ce qui donne unJ'ai commencé à y jouer depuis la mise en route des serveurs et a chaque jour j'y joue.     The world design is nearly perfect, and every npc in the game has his/her story. The main story and side stories and the hidden lore go well together.
    The anime style scene and lighting is fantastic. The photo mode is very useful to create beautiful wall papers.
    The down side of the game is the late game play. The designer can put more effort to improve it.

    In the end, if you really like anime style and open world, you can certainly have fun. And this game is free to play.    … Expand

    If you think that this game is pay to win just because it is free to play, you are very wrong.

    Personally this game is a very good and its resemblance to BOTW is something i needed as i completed that game and there are almost no good games like this especially for free

    Haven't had fun with these type of games for years since Kingdom of Hearts (sorry no BOTW since I have no switch). The game's graphics is so beautiful yet it is not that heavy on the PC's GPU. I had lots of fun despite not having a 5-star character in how many rolls already. It does get harder when you reach level 30; however, what's the fun if you can finish the game easily?     Amazing RPG. It's just absolutely beautiful. The missions are fun, there are many things to explore, many characters to change and to level up... It's open exploration at its best. I'm really enjoying it.

    the game is really nice, it has its problems, but the company is working on them, and they have a good track record. i dont have that many positive things to add that others havent already said it before, just that the game is getting an unnecessary amount of hate from players, and that this situation will eventually be solved

Tontas las personas que no se dan cuenta que es normal poner micro transacciones dentro de los juegos y más tontas quienes caen en ellos sin tener dinero de sobras. Veo muy permisible para cualquier personas gastar 50 dolares solamente ya que es lo que hoy en día cuesta cualquier vídeojuegos. La verdad meterle 50 dolares está bien, pero más de eso no deberían pensarlo si es que no les sobra el dinero.

    Si tanto se queja la gente que vayan y le inviertan cientos de horas a el desarrollo de un videojuego como éste sin meterle micro transacciones para poder seguir desarrollando. Las micro transacciones son el resultado de empresas de alto renombre como EA games y Epic. No es algo que ésta empresa se haya sacado de la manga.

    Solo les digo. Disfruten el juego sin frustrarse por si no les sale el personaje que tanto querían. ésta semana hay un evento para obtener a Fischl que es uno de los personajes más deseados. El juego es nuevo y es por eso que hay tanta persona frustrada. Hay ciento de juegos con un RNG cientos de veces peor que éste juego como Subir full set BLACK STAR con Caphras en BDO. Esto no es nada y ciertamente se siente el amor que le pusieron a las voces de los personajes, al arte del mundo y diseño de los personajes.

    Es un juego realmente hermoso y vale la pena jugar como todo MMORPG sin frustarte por tener lo mejor tan pronto como puedas, porque si algo he aprendido de tantos MMORPGS que he jugado es que si te centras en ser el mejor no vas a disfrutar el juego como se debe.    … Expand

    I fell in love with this game from the get-go. I've played all the Legend of Zelda titles before, and even though I could call most of them great, Genshin Impact gave me an entirely diferent vibe. The local music, different in every region, the difference in the scenery... You can almost feel, like you're really in a different country.
    The story quests can easily occupy you for 40+ hours, but it will probably take you much more than that. The dynamic events, the puzzles all throughout the map, encounters with enemies - the so called "distractions" are adding to the dynamic of the map.

    The game presents you with few characters of varying elemental attacks: wind, fire, ice, water, which let's you finish the whole game (as of right now), but (and it's a big BUT) the game Free2Play system is one of the most fair I have ever seen.
    No, you can't buy experience with money.
    No, you can't buy story quests DLC with money.
    No, you can't "buy" certain characters or weapons with money.
    All you can do is try your luck in a Gacha (basically a slot machine). You can get good characters, mediocre characters - some better, some worse, but you can always make someone good, if you combo him with appropriate equipment.

    If you want to pay money to get a big advantage - you're in bad luck. It's a no no for buying "character pack" for 100$. You, as all the people, have some % chance of getting any character/weapon from one of three slots.
    Free2Play players can get Primogems (you roll Gacha with it) for doing: story quests, normal quests, daily quests, events, random encounters, opening chests.
    It's in no way a low amount. You'll find people complaining, that on the game release everyone got a ton of bonus Primogems and that now it will only go downhill - yes, it will, it will be quite harder. But the game doesn't require you to roll anything in order to complete literally everything. It's not a competitive game. You only play the game of "medium" vs "easy".

    Taking all of it into consideration:
    - Best free2play game ever, possibly better than Zelda Breath of The Wild
    - OST is just godly, the London and Shanghai orchestries did a perfect job
    - every character is different, you won't find 2 characters that do the same thing, just one better than the other
    - You can play the game on your PC and later play for an hour on your mobile phone wherever you are
    - Graphics are very nice and game is not hard to run on pretty much any hardware
    - Good character desing + every character has a backstory about them    … Expand

    I don't understand all the poor reviews. This is a free to play game that has an amazing open world with plenty of content. There is no need to buy anything, and you regularly get in game currency for free if you really want to try for new characters. I have played for a week and I have 5 new characters without spending any money. I'm also not even halfway through the game.

    Great exploration game. Doesn't need to spend so much $$$ to advance in the game. The Resin system is good for me because I can't play so much in a day. This controls others from advancing too much. Anyway, the game is free. I don't know why some people are asking for too much. Low gacha rate? Don't pull. Expensive crystals? Don't buy. No one is forcing you.

    I play on mobile and I LOVE it!!! I just really waiting for new map in the future, new story, new chara, etc. This game just incredible, you can play with your friend, explorer the map and FIGHT THE BOSS. And this game Is f2p, even if you dont gacha on this game, Its okay. You still can enjoy this game.

    Прекрасная игра. Я ее донатила, но я собрала всех 4* я очень рада. Разработчики часто обновляют игру добавляют новых персонажей и новые квесты. Никто не заставляет вас донатить, если не хотите, то и не надо

    YOU DO NOT NEED ANY EXTRA CHARACTERS TO PLAY THE GAME OR BEAT CONTENT.

    A lot of these reviews complain about wasting their money and not getting what they wanted or that they cannot complete content without characters and it's simply not true at all. Characters are cool or cute and they add more flavour to your gameplay but they are not necessary to playing the game. The game tells you the drop rates and it is a gamble so please stop playing a lottery and just play the game.

    Strength in this game comes in the form of weapons, levels and artifacts. Weapons also come in the form of a wish system but also through a crafting system with a blacksmith, the crafting options have some of the best weapons and are what every player should craft asap. Leveling isn't like most games instead of killing enemies you gain most of your exp by using character enhancement material gained by opening chests. Artifacts are pure randomness but are where your characters get their biggest boost in strength. Upgrading them increases your stats tremendously, and not upgrading them can make your characters feel very weak.

    Exploration is awesome in Genshin Impact and is the best world exploring I've seen in a video game. The world is huge and getting bigger with updates there is always something to do as you walk by puzzles or groups of enemies. NPCs talk and give you items and have stories. Lots of beautiful scenes to screenshot and look at. The stamina system you use to explore with gets better the more you explore encouraging you to do more. Eventually you will think you've found everything but there is always a hidden chest or something of interest hiding somewhere.

    The story has some big plans but the game is not finished yet so the story isn't either. So far the story won't make you cry or leave an imprint on you but it is interesting and introduces some really cool characters and bosses. Events also add more story quests to the game so playing the game as it is being updated is fun and more interesting. Unfortunately I don't think these event quests will come back anytime soon and I don't think new players will be able to do them, but no doubt there will be new events for them to do anyways.

    In conclusion, I have spent 10 bucks for the battle pass to get resources for leveling up, none for wishing as it's a gamble, I just saved my wishes until a character I really wanted appeared on a rate up banner and then I got him easily with my saved primogems. Playing the game has given me a lot of joy especially in 2020 which sucked. Don't get trapped into thinking you need a character to have fun in this game, you'd probably have a new favorite the next month. The game is fun and I'm waiting for more, Thanks for reading and thanks to mihoyo for this awesome game.    … Expand

    The game is great overall for all its characteristis. RPG genre, anime graphic. Combat system and animation is awesome.

    Careful reading the user review because resin problem when the game was released. Currently on January 2021, almost everyone is adapted already with the system, which is very common in F2P game. This game is probably the best F2P with gacha system and best gameplay for RPG.

    A really brilliant open world RPG. It is so cool and the story, the characters the map are cool. The gacha element is not so good, but without it, it wouldn‘t came on Android and Ios. You don’t need to give out money. I am happy with this game.

    Yes, it is a blatant rip-off of Breath of the Wild. Yes, it is a gacha game. And yes, it is good! There are so many other BOTW "rip-offs" (Immortals Fenyx Rising, etc), and yet this is the only one that gets it right. If it's so easy to make a fun game like this, why is every other studio failing at it? Also, Mona is hot. 10/10

    Genshin Impact is amazing! A lot of people say its pay to win, but you don't have to pay money and plus the game gives you the in-game currency in general. Some people just use the characters given for free at the beginning and are perfectly fine with it

    I am at adventure rank 53 around 100 200 hours. I am going to explain the previous reviews.

    First, the Zhongli stuff that’s old news about people complaining that a rare character was “weak” even though he was very strong. BUT mihoyo listened and gave him a buff in the next patch now he is an amazing character. Ignore everything about Zhongli Next wishing I again have spent $21 CAD    I am at adventure rank 53 around 100 200 hours. I am going to explain the previous reviews.

    Next wishing I again have spent $21 CAD and have got 7 5* which are rare characters/weapons. Paying in my mind is stupid. You have a .6% chance for a 5* (guaranteed at 90 pulls) and 7% for a 4* (guaranteed after 10 pulls) and the rest is 3*. You can make a beast team with them no matter what you get with the satisfaction you get from the quick cinematic gameplay. Nothing is a bad thing even in late games I am using 3* which some are overpowered. The currency to buy the wishes are primogems which can be bought or play the game and get a steady stream of a few wishes a day. If u want a massive wishing sim find something else this gives u a heavy amount but not a maaaasive amount. The 5* just are “fancy ” they want you to get a feeling of excitement when you get one not meh another one which would happen if you get too many. They just want you to lay the game for a tiny bit I run this game for 2 hours at most 20-30 for all the basic stuff.

    The graphics and story is amazing even side quests build so much lore and excitement (also gives many rewards). Drop in for the story and you will be Amazed and you got a solid 100 hours not much grinding.

    The community is super helpful and kind I have found so many people who want to help people out and they made me into that kinda person. There are always a tiny bit of junky people but the kind people weight them out. If you need anything people will drop everything and help if they are playing.

    A few downsides are the very limited security which there are some I. Development but there are so many people it’s very rare to be hacked. I wish it would be added sooner to protect me and others but they are trying to keep us having content and be protected.

    Resin system this is the game's stamina you need this for grinding your character stronger like getting mats and getting rewards from bosses. You do not need it for the story or just beating the boss for fun and there is so much other stuff to do. Mihoyo seems to be hearing us and they just reduced the 3 weekly bosses cost in half for 3 of them (max cap 160 used to cost 60 now 30) there are 3 now 4 which reduces so much cost which gives more for grinding for gear(artifacts ) and boss mats. They give you items that restore resin which if u save until at 45 to get the best gear you can get about 2400 resin at least which is a lot if you save you will be swimming in it and be able to get the best gear more efficiently and get guaranteed 5* artifacts which give better and more stats. If you save you will be fine.

    It’s cross progression(pc and mobile via account) and plays with all systems. There is 4 player co op the experience is based on YOUR wifi, not your buds it makes it easy for a strong person to help you win a hard fight. The co-op is limited to servers (America,EU,Asia and SAR) you can have different accounts but your na game can’t have cross progression on EU but you don’t need a VPN or anything to make a EU ac in NA. The sad thing is you can’t play with EU and NA.

    Why are there so many negative reviews. This is a gacha game where they want you to come back and tempt you to spend money. Besides that, this game is amazing filled with mystery, adventure, and characters to collect. OST AND TRAILERS ARE A BOP.

    Very nice game since 1.4 update. Many things are fixed and the game is getting better. Many people are complaining about wish system but who cares, the game is brilliant. I spend some money for the Battlepass and welkin moon for primogems boost and I still don't find this game as a money bank.

The gacha is alright for characters, you are never forced to spend to get a character because you can beat the game without spending money or using any in-game currency (primogems, used for getting characters). The story in this game isn't finished as it updates every 6 weeks with new regions, places, bosses, characters, events, minigames,... There is definitely filler updates but releasing a new region every 6 weeks is impossible to do so i think those filler updates are quite necessary for the developers + they're pretty fun too even though they aren't big updates. They know how to keep players busy but don't force anything onto you, you don't HAVE to do anything rather everything is optional, even world level (which makes the enemies stronger inside your world) requires the players to manually activate it and is reversable. Brilliant game, brilliant storyline, beautiful graphics and regions and free too. 10/10, haven't had another game that could keep me interested and not get boring for me.… Expand

    most of the negative reviews are in reference to the resin system and the gacha rates, so i'll start out with a response to that
    resin system:
    for those who don't know, resin is what allows you to collect rewards from bosses and various challenges. Most of these rewards cannot be farmed elsewhere, with a few exceptions. At capacity, you have 160 resin. Bosses take up 40, some weekly bosses take 30, and other challenges take 20. As a late game player, (AR 56, halfway to 57), my experience is that using up all of the daily resin + the daily tasks, commissions, takes roughly an hour to an hour and a half. If you need a lot of a certain material, it can be inconvenient, which, yeah, i get that. However, giving a whole game 0-1/10 because of THAT is petty and immature to me. In my opinion, I like the resin system. I think it helps the game stay balanced in that no one can grind for a really long time to be lightyears ahead of the general playerbase. It also, for me at least, makes sure I'm not at my computer for 48 hours straight. I feel like its a healthy amount of time to play. Not to say, that the things you use resin for are the only thing you can do in Genshin. Far from it, actually. There's frequent events, a housing system, and a gigantic world to explore. There's no need to rush things.
    Secondly, the gacha rates:
    I would like to clarify that I have made it my personal goal to get every character in the game. My reasoning for this is personal and I will not discuss it. However, that said, Genshin is by NO means a pay to win game. Every character, including the starter characters, are good. It genuinely just depends on how you build them. Five star characters are nice, yes, but in the meta, they aren't much better than any of the four stars or starter characters you can get. I will fight ANYONE on this. You by no means have to get a 5 star character or weapon to be good at and enjoy this game. You could complete all the game has to offer at the time of this review without ever pulling on a banner.
    I feel like the people complaining about the gacha rates have never played a gacha game before. Genshin is EXCEEDINGLY generous for a gacha game. The currency needed is not hard to earn by playing the game, through exploration, events, achievements, etc etc. As someone who has spent a sizable sum of money on this game, however, I do have to admit that buying the currency needed for the gacha is pretty costly. However, please again consider that this is entirely optional, and through the currency you obtain in-game you will most likely pull at LEAST one five-star by AR35.
    As a personal side note, I do not recommend attempting to get every character in game, like I have. I have my reasons, which are very personal, but I do not recommend anyone do the same. Keep in mind your party size in game is only 4, and its not very likely that you're going to use every character that you get. (from personal experience)

    Genshin is a stunning game. It has a beautiful world and lore, and characters that are just. excellent.
    The combat system is easy to learn, but takes a bit of time to master. It's fast paced and rewards players that have read into character skills/ taken the time to build a character. The environments are incredibly fun to explore, and personally it's one of my favorite parts of the game. The periodic updates to the map and the additions of events and characters gives me something to look forward to. However, if you're the type that gets frustrated when the entirety of the game isn't out at once, I wouldn't be able to recommend Genshin to you yet. Only 3 of the 7 regions are out as of me writing this review. Despite this, though, there is never really a lack of content. Events are frequent and new features are added all the time. My personal favorite is the teapot, because I can spend hours decorating my little home and farming the serotonin I get when I make it look nice. :)

    good game i enjoy
    dont spend money though (you dont have to)
    if you dont like waiting for content and you dont see it as looking forward to something (i understand) but as a frustrating thing maybe come back in 10ish years when everything is out :)

    forget about anniversary gifts, this is the best game I have ever played.
    My artifacts are good, and my Gacha is good too. I can believe that since i played 3 months ago, i have 4 5 star characters.
    The event is exciting and surprising.

    It is a f2p game with great potential. Though some things need to be fixed, the game still compensates for it until Ar55 . After that it feels kimda empty but hey they give regular updates so yeah ..... Overall a great game !

    This game is great in general, yes there are some complaints about the anniversary rewards but other than that id 100% recommend it. Its has free roam, quests u can do and bosses u can fight. This game has kept me busy for months and is truly addicting. :D

    First let me tell you that it is a game first and a gacha second. People who talk only about the gacha part wish it was an RPG-skinned slot machine like other gachas. It's simply not.

    The best way I can describe it is "this is the 3d "Tales" game I always dreamed of," and I even beat Tales of Arise while playing it. The character designs and animations are gorgeous, the combat is extremely fun and better than ANY Tales or Tales spinoff, and it has all the min-maxing anybody could ever desire.

    Not only that but it updates internationally every other week with new things to do, and every 3 months with new land to explore. I'm amazed at how much work and craftsmanship is put into the game.

    Some gacha/mobile elements like energy to play the grindy part of the game (domains, aka dungeons) called resin can be frustrating, but they have added plenty to do when you're out of resin since the game launched and now I barely ever run out before I'm ready to stop playing anyway. All of the JRPG staples are here: combat, ingredient collecting, crafting, cooking, house/village building, gardening, fishing... There's also about 30 hours of real game before you ever need resin anyway. Progress can't always be made by barreling through the game, but I don't mind it.

    While I don't have much interest in the Chinese-theological theme of heavenly bureaucracies (which they reference a LOT especially in the second chapter) the story has been compelling enough, but more importantly coherent. The characters, world, and story all feel like they are designed by the same group of people. Many modern JRPGs feel like their writers never saw the game and the level designers never saw the characters and the character designers never read the script.

    I spend ~$20 a month on the game and have gotten nearly every character - 34/39! Each with very distinct playstyles and personalities. I don't feel the investment is at all necessary to enjoy the game though. With enough time you can get every character and weapon release for free. Yes it will take literal years - but they are absolutely not necessary to enjoy the game. They are just digital action figures to use on a digital playset. As I said, people like to pretend Genshin Impact is only a gacha, but the gacha is 10% of the game's value. The other 90% of it is a lovingly crafted Zelda BotW and Tales-series clone.

    I have only seen the quality of the game improve since it launched, and I am excited to see where else the game takes me. If you are looking for an adventure, I highly recommend this game.    … Expand

    Most people just play for like 5 minutes and say that this game is sh*t, but if one really would look into a game one would think different from before. So whenever I review a game I at least played it one hour.

    from the beginning i was dont like this game because of gacha system , but i give it a chance , i play it for 2 days and i dont regret that , you can get everything for free , just played it everyday and got many five star , who said this game have bad gacha system because they dont played it , and enkanomiya music is very good ehe

    Bad reviews seem to have only played game on launch and not familiar with this genre. It's a slow grind game where you gain rewards doing daily and not a regular PC game that you can speedrun in minutes. Overall for a free to play game I give it a 10/10. Honestly no game comes close.     This is not a P2W game like others said. Good game, beautiful graphics, beautiful characters, nice gameplay,... .You can be stronger by working hard, this is one of the greatest game I have ever played.

Often playing the games just for chilling and enjoy the view. For gameplay it's running real smooth in my phone. You can still get a 5* char by doing the events and commisions mean that is really f2p friendly. You can be a whale also, but youI often write a review for games.     Rather than a typical online game, Genshin Impact resembles a traditional single-player jRPG with a real-time combat. For a free-to-play title it is very impressive, but turns out to be pretty derivative and quickly slumps into monotony. [13/2020, p.52]

    Overall, in spite of things that should bring Genshin Impact down, the game is so much fun to play that the negatives are ultimately minor gripes. [...] The gameplay is smooth and simplistic, and it works great on all platforms - though I’m still not sure why the PlayStation version can’t be linked to a Mihoyo account so I could play on my phone when I’m not at home (PS Vita version please??) but it’s a small gripe to an otherwise terrific game.
