"Spartan" took the turn-based strategy genre to the next level, well with Gates of Troy Slitherine have just reinforced that position.
-
Gates of Troy, like "Spartan," could use some graphical improvements during battle sequences, but overall is an enjoyable Strategy game and a worthy expansion to its predecessor.
-
A great game which combines three of the most popular series around today; Civilization, Sim City and Command and Conquer.
-
PC GamerGates is a fun game. [May 2005, p.67]
-
PC FormatA decent low-cost dabble if you've grown out of painting little lead figures. [Christmas 2004, p.122]
-
BoomtownThe lack of decent opposing AI and a distinct lack of strategic options makes for and uninspired and often, well boring, experience.
