Mar 12, 2018The definitive edition of Final Fantasy XV.
-
Mar 27, 2018Unlike many of its siblings, Final Fantasy XV is not really about empires or kings. It isn’t about magic or monsters—or even really about people. Final Fantasy XV is about four friends, the bond they share, and the power that such friendships have to improve the world.

Mar 29, 2018It’s not said enough – sometimes, it’s OK for games to get “fixed” after launch. Developers aren’t always able to control their release schedules, and when a game is better and more robust a year later, that’s a win for everyone. Look at No Man’s Sky, for example. In the case of FFXV, it was already an excellent game. Now, it’s damned near perfection. If you’ve been waiting, you get a great port, and one that’s content complete and still expecting more updates this year. Recommended.

Sep 18, 2018Final Fantasy XV may not feel like an older game from the franchise, but that doesn't mean it's bad. I grew up with the older Final Fantasy game and while XV is different, that doesn't make it a bad game in the franchise. I enjoyed my time spent in game and look forward to doing more.

Apr 3, 2018Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition is one of the best ports of a videogame to date. If you have yet to experience this landmark title then do so now.
-
Mar 18, 2018Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is the only, true definitive edition of the Square Enix Japanese Role-Playing Game, thanks to the superior graphics quality and several gameplay and story enhancements, which are also included in the consoles' Royal Edition.
-
Mar 13, 2018Ready to save Eos from eternal darkness? Notctis and his comrades await you on this spectacular version of Final Fantasy XV with an improved graphics and 4K support.
-
Mar 10, 2018Considering the sometimes bipolar nature of Square Enix's PC ports, I'm impressed with how well Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition turned out. If you have a mid-to-high end PC, this is the way to experience this game, either if you're playing it for the first time or if you want to go through it a second time.
-
Mar 9, 2018The Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition is the best version of the game.
-
Mar 8, 2018Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is the most complete and the most beautiful version of the loveable but imperfect RPG. If you own a good PC and are interested in Noctis' adventures, you can jump right in without any fear, just be sure its messy combat system, generic quests and quite strange scenario won't bother you.
-
Mar 22, 2018Final Fantasy XV made the long wait worthwhile and it is a very pleasant entry to the series. Gameplay is as challenging as needed, visuals and sound reach a high level, as opposed to its main story, which without being bad, it suffers from poor presentation.
-
Mar 16, 2018An impressive job of a port, this is the definitive edition of the game, one that fans should definitely purchase if they liked the original. Those who did not like it, however, should continue to stay away.
-
Mar 13, 2018It is not a perfect port in an absolute sense, given that there remains a small handful of bugs and small performance stunts, but it is undoubtedly the best - by far - incarnation of the title from a strictly technical point of view.
-
Mar 12, 2018After playing Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition, I realized that this game meant to be played on PC. Experiencing the game on 60 FPS is much better.
-
Mar 10, 2018This version of FFXV does deliver a much more complete experience and fixes many of the issues present in the original. It was a great adventure when it came out, and now it's better than ever.
-
Mar 9, 2018Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition is a really good port, not only in terms of optimization and adding a bunch of options. It also takes advantage of the unique technologies of the platform in order to create the most complete edition of the game so far.
-
Apr 3, 2018The PC port of Final Fantasy 15 is a monster regarding scope, but the gameplay isn't on par with older series milestones.
-
Mar 19, 2018Even with its faults, from the weird two-halves of the story to the often poorly designed and uninteresting side-quests, Final Fantasy XV feels like a triumph. Discovering a new location or seeing a giant monster for the first time, Final Fantasy XV constantly surprises. And thanks to its likeable cast of heroes, provides as memorable an animated adventure of a boy band in a world filled with monsters could possibly be.
-
Mar 10, 2018With a potent PC the visuals are nothing short of stunning. And with all the content bundled plus all the enhancements that have been introduced to the console versions since the release, this so far is the definitive version of this thoroughly entertaining roleplaying experience.
-
May 23, 2018While FFXV is at times engrossing and beautiful, it can also feel like a pretty, hollow shell. The last quarter of the game feels rushed, as if the developers had to wrap things up under pressure, and that's after waiting over a decade for this to come out. While it is not the stellar titan we hoped for, it's certainly Final Fantasy, and we can all be thankful for that.
-
Mar 27, 2018All in all, Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is the best console-to-pc port that Square Enix has produced to date. On top of that, the Royal Edition is the best version of Final Fantasy XV – so far, and even if only just. The route taken to get here has been a bumpy one, needlessly long with and perhaps without the most efficient direction, but the journey here has left us at a better place than we were at starting out.
-
Mar 26, 2018Regardless of just how many improvements and additions Final Fantasy XV will undergo in the next year or so, the game is far from perfect and hardly the entry that unifies the fanbase, be they long devoted fans or burnt out from the past entries. What the game is, however, is a flawed but still fun masterpiece that looks and plays like no other Action/RPG hybrid out there and is still worth a cursory glance, if not a full commitment.
-
Mar 22, 2018Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is firstly and primarily a fantastic addition to the Final Fantasy catalogue. It addresses the critical faults of its predecessor and sets the franchise back up on the path to greatness. Memorable characters, exciting combat, and a risk taken with the change to the open world, show Square Enix as developers who have proven their credentials for delivering top-class RPG experiences.
-
Mar 13, 2018The PC version is undoubtedly the best way to play the game, even if it does come stuck with Denuvo. But great graphics options and optimization for mid-tier and up PCs will keep it relevant in the PC community for years to come.
-
Mar 12, 2018The PC version of Final Fantasy XV is the best, ultimate way to live the experience created by Square Enix for every Final Fantasy fan. Graphically astounding, the game includes every content and patch released in the last year and a half and a co-op multiplayer mode, and it's definitely recommended, whether you're planning a second run with Noctis and his friends, or you've never been on Eos before.
-
Mar 12, 2018There are technical issues here and there, some that will cause frustration, but this still is a sensational port for both those who want to double dip and those who have yet to play the RPG. It may not be perfect, but Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is the dose of Final Fantasy we all need.
-
Mar 10, 2018Featuring all the charms of the console version, plus the DLC, customisable graphics and improved frame rates, Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition is the best version of Square Enix’s latest epic that money can buy.
-
Mar 13, 2018Offers a fantastic road trip, even if it's not a particularly in-depth RPG.
-
Mar 13, 2018Final Fantasy XV’s beautiful graphics and exciting fights unfortunately come with a confusing story, irritating characters, long and unnecessary cutscenes, and optimization issues.

Mar 9, 2018It’s by no means the best Final Fantasy game there’s ever been, especially once it forces you to bid farewell to your easy-going road trip and sit on a literal train for the rest of the story, providing tiny, tantalizing glimpses of other open worlds that might have been if only they’d had another ten years to actually finish the damn thing, but I’ll eat my chocobo hat if it isn’t the most interesting, experimental and important one the series has ever seen.
