jaequinnOct 25, 2008Everyone has their opinions, but has anyone that has rated this game a 5 or below actually played the whole game?? When I started I just thought it was okay, but after about 2 hrs it rlly took off, only game that has gone beyond the norms in the while.

JustinG.Oct 24, 2008Alot of repitition. The AI isn't so great. Playing the game on hard just means the enemies respawn more often and it takes less bullets for you to die. Other than that, the depth of the game is great. Just remember to quicksave often or you will get very frustrated as the fights aren't that intuitive. The graphics are amazing as well.

MikeNOct 24, 2008PROS: Beautiful, immersive environment. Creative health system. Lots of guns (if you work for them). CONS: Terrible AI. Way too much driving. Multiplayer not fun at all. Story is non-existent. 16:10 widescreen is just cropped 4:3. SUMMARY: I'm very dissapointed with this game. Pass on it and pick up a different one until this is in the bargain bin.

StephaneOct 24, 2008Now I have tried the PC version as well at my friend's place and I like it as much as my 360 version. I was actually quite surprised that it ran so smooth with high quality settings. The game has its little flaws like it had them on xbox 360 but damn, so little flaws for so many good things, I simply wish there were more games like this one. Time to create a map for a multiplayer game.

DaiteechuOct 24, 2008What can i say except..... BORING! scenery looks nice, but graphically, apart from the fire (which is probably the best looking thing in the game) no better than Crysis or COD4. Story is boring, characters are boring, missions are boring, travel is boring, even the combat is boring and repetitive. after so much wait and anticipation I'm sorry to say i am very disappointed.

Edge MagazineCombat is thrilling – each weapon packing a solid, vicious blast; movement suggesting heft and momentum. [Dec 2008, p.80]

By adopting a laissez faire attitude to player discretion, Ubisoft has crafted a brilliant follow-up.

More importantly, it has nowhere near as many bugs as something like "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl," a title that bears many similarities. Add to the roughly 25 hour single-player campaign a remarkably easy-to-use map creation tool and a full multiplayer suite, and you've got one of the most complete overall gaming packages of the year, as well as one of the most ambitious.
