The small dev team really pulled together not only a great game but they made a whole universe. You really feel like you are in Vanahiem. Expand

Don't let the bugs and typos put you off from the game. Even the game, at one point, mentions about being mindful of your expectations. The game emphasizes on hanging out with friends and all the pros and cons that can sometimes come out of it too. The game, I dare say, is engaging enough that those who want to get the full story should play the game again focusing on the other characters and get their side of the story as well as what kind of character they are.

The character designs are definitely appealing as well. Enough that maybe you might go for a character for their looks.... Or perhaps you're interested to know more about them based on first impressions. And the background for each area feels like something you can expect to find even if it's a town where magic and anthropomorphic creatures, who are range from the weird to the cute and the cool, roam the area living out their lives.

Either way, give the game a try at least once. I've heard from the grape vine that chapter 2 will come soon. It's been a fun ride for me so far and I'm looking forward to how the whole thing continues from there... and, hopefully, you'll feel the same as well!

After completing different endings I always got different feelings about every character. I really liked this story, art, music, characters, one word – everything, and I’m glad, that I ‘read’ this story. I wish that more people could dip into it. Expand

It's got wonderfully complex characters and really great homages to the community it's from and the underlying story and setting make for great interest and theorizing for its second chapter! It has a good balance of zany events and good humor to more raw emotional moments and seriousness too boo. If you have any interest in visual novels and content involving anthropomorphic characters and settings then I do reccomend this if you can play it! Expand

Where FT truly excels is how it's characters suck you into the world, balancing writing that makes their personalities shine and gorgeous illustrations. So far, my personal favorite is Po! His dialogue is absolutely hilarious!

A huge draw to the game is the art by celebrated furry artist Gillpanda, who is also the creator of the comic Red Equinox. Her work here seriously shines--each character is vibrant and beautiful, and the expressions used to detail character emotion are marvelous. Serious props.

The artwork used to set each scene is simply fantastic, Vanahiem is every bit a visual treat as the characters. The artist behind these seems to have a serious eye for comic book design---or that's the vibe I'm getting at least. Great work here

Another fantastic component to FT that makes it shine in the VN field is the animations, very very very few furry visual novels have animated sequences----and FT opens with one! Barely a minute in, and FT completely immerses it's reader. Bonus points for having it's own original soundtrack by a seriously talented musician---again, very very very very few furry visual novels have their own soundtracks. The vast majority rely on royalty free music, so immediate props to the FT team for prioritizing their sound.

As for the cons, there's a few bugs reported. Personally I haven't ran into any that are game breaking, and the developer has been working nonstop since release to squash them all. I'd highly, HIGHLY recommend this game
