    To be honest, this the best fallout 3D game even for 2020. Obsidian has made a marvelous job. The main thing in this game is story and the genre. The retro-futurism in this Fallout, as it is in all Obsidian’s Fallouts, is significant part of ambience. Weapons look stunning, armor looks amazing. But that wonderful pipboy. Obsidian Entertainment made even unforgettable work with icons. MaybeTo be honest, this the best fallout 3D game even for 2020. Obsidian has made a marvelous job. Maybe radio there are less radio stations in New Vegas than in Fallout 3 but their quality is very good. The ambience reveals itself not only with visual design. NPCs in the game are made fantastically, they live, they want something, they help you and eventually, you find yourself attached to them. And what about genre? This Fallout is good old RPG that Black Isle Studios (Obsidian Entertainment now) made many years ago. I’m talking not only about many variants of completing the game, I’m talking about ways of playing: from being peaceful eloquent savior to a daredevil that murders everyone and everything that can be murdered (or being drunk addicted, cause it is a game, why not lol). Fallout: New Vegas, unfortunately, has some minuses. Graphics is lower than in Fallout 3 but more than acceptable, though. Obsidian needed more time to polish the game, it has some bugs but like with graphics it’s acceptable but unlike the graphics it’s not more than it. So, what do we have? A brilliant game of brilliant developers. Minuses don’t matter in this case. But, personally me, wouldn’t enjoyed this game if I were 13 because I liked different types of games and it was normal for this age. Fallout: New Vegas is a game that definitely should be played and bought, don’t use torrents, people worked really hard to make this game and they should receive money from this masterpiece… Expand

    I must have played through this game about five times now. As a big fan of the Fallout series (for the most part), New Vegas is the one I go back to the most. Its RPG elements are the most focused upon out of the newer games, and its writing is what you'd expect from Obsidian: A+. I'd give this a 9.5 rounded up to a perfect 10.

The other 3d games largely fell short in what I expected from a Fallout game, and undermined the lore, setting and expectations from a Fallout game so much that I cringe thinking about what the IP has become. A game this timeless doesn't need a good engine, though it would help. This game demonstrates WHY Bethesda is constantly ridiculedThis is the best 3d Fallout experience you can get.     Still the best Fallout franchise game. Atmosphere is just great. Awesome OST, fantastic quests and good locations. Needs several graphic and gameplay DLCs in 2020.

    Fallout new vegas is a game where you can pursue what ever you want, want to be a Brotherhood of Steel member and walk around in their armor? Get on their good side, as it's up to you with what you do, if you get the game on PC make sure to mod it if you dont want to encounter alot of bugs and with the DLC, it's a smorgasbord of goodness

    Despite a lot of bugs, the story in the main episode and in the DLC makes the player immersed. Even after a few years, this game is one of my best games.

    Stunning. What an RPG should be. At first I had no clue on what the game was. But then I played and was instantly immersed and pulled into the best gaming experience of my life.

    This game is legendary in its storytelling and variety of choices and endings. Easily one of my all time favorites. The exploration is one of its best elements. Voice acting is in the next level. The only downside is it is a little buggy.

I love Fallout, and it's the best game in 3D series, though it's pretty old: graphics, textures, version of engine, shadows and everything what is normal for past-gen games. Shooting is not the best, and itEven after 10 years, I can't stop admiring this game.     The best fallout of the bethesda era, the gameplay is the same than Fallout 3, (Tho it is really fixable with mods), the story is amazing togeheter with the characters. I don't know how many hours i put when i was little playing with my ps3 to this game, but in steam i have 303h thanks to the mod community who are amazing. If you are into rpg games and post apocalyptic world rpg honestly this is the best rpg to explore that but again be warned since time has not been kind to its visuals but then again who plays an rpg like this for the graphics.… Expand

    Fallout: New Vegas can pretty much be summed as a miracle final    If you knew this game's developing story, with limited budget, tight schedule and the obligatory use of an ancient and flawed engine (more so for a game from 2010); and did not knew about its critically acclaimed reviews from critics in general, you would be pretty skeptical about its potentials, and you would be right.

    Fallout: New Vegas can pretty much be summed as a miracle final product, it had everything to be a bad game, but the hard work and love for the franchise from developers made it not only the best game of the franchise overall, but one of the best RPGs from the 2010's.

    I will not elaborate about the whole developing cycle and problems this game had during its production, you can read more about it in other reviews here or even in other places if you look for it. Basically Obsidian was in a pretty bad spot in the making of the game, and they were rushed to finish the whole product in only 2 years, for compairson that's half of the time it took to make Fallout 3 and even less than the time Bethesda used to produced the "fourth" game in the franchise, even though both Fallout 3 and 4 had way bigger teams and budgets; people usually points out that Fallout 3 had to be produced from the scratch and thats why it took longer to make, but thats a half-truth since the third game of the franchise used the same engine as TES:Oblibion with some changes.

    There're a few aspects that make this game stand as the best game of the franchise (mainly as an RPG experience) and one of the best RPGs from the last 2 decades. One of those aspects is the progression system, it is quite simple, but you really feal like you're building your own character with its own set of abilities and singularities, you actually need to focus on some atributes and you wont be able to become a jack of all trades like other recent RPGs like Skyrim and Fallout 4, games that I would like to emphasize as amazing experiences, but more as adventure like games with RPG elements than RPGs by itself.

    Other than the progression itself, its necessary to consider that the way the story starts and progresses throughout the game favors the character you're building in the game; it gives you liberty to 'role-play' as pretty much any type of person you want to be at the ingame world, since you don't have big cues about your past predetermined by the developer; along with the progression system displayed in the last paragraph and well written dialog, those aspects makes FNV close to an perfect RPG.

    Other than the RPG feeling itself, the world (in that case The Mojave Wasteland) and the story of the game are incredible. One of the best things about the Fallout series overall is the grey area of the morally right and wrong in the post-nuclear war world. As we can see in the first game for example, we have relatively big hubs of corporations like the Crimson Caravan that basically works as an mercenary group, not exactlly good or bad, but a group of people doing what they can do best to survive in the wrecked world of the series, the same goes for the other so-called factions like the signature Brotherhood of Steel that serves as one of the landmarks of all games; they all have their share of wrongdoings - and righteousness. In FNV this is still the case, more so than even other segments of the series like the the third game and Fallout 2, where its pretty obvious which factions are good (almost perfectlly good) and the ones that are bad. Don't get me wrong, FNV still has an evil faction, but even the evil one has its reasons to act the way it does (which are pretty convincing in some points), I will not elaborate in that aspect longer than I have to as to not spoil the experience of the game if you seek the whys of each faction, but the bad faction mirrors itself in Ancient Rome (that includes accepting slavery) but not just to be bad and all powerfull, but to restore the purpoted Pax Romanna, that is, the piece that comes with the unification and uniformization of all tribes and cultures.

    Other than the amazing characters, factions and progression system; the quest structures are usually packed with contet and intricacies that can be achieved in many approaches, not the traditional 'talk or shoot' of many RPGs, I suggest GMTK's Anatomy of a Side Quest on Youtube if you permit yourself to be spoilled of a single side quest from the game to acknowledge the many ways you can proceed throughout quests. In that aspect FNV is closer to an ImmersiveSim than a RPG, because it gives you many ways to progress.

    Besides all good stuff I said until now I would not consider FNV as an flawless game; the Gambryo engine utilized in the game is horrible, filled with bugs and glitches that you will see often during the game - gamebreaking bugs are not frequent tho, and with my 400+ hours I havent experienced one yet, other than frustrating crashes both on PC and Xbox 360. I gave a perfect 10 to this game considering production drawbacks.    … Expand

    This is one of my favorite Fallout Game The story Is great Got Great character The voice acting is good and locations I like the reputation system and ho w you chance cloth so the faction that hate you don't attack you I like how the choice you made Is not black and white like other Fallout game and your choice matter unlike other Fallout Game.

    At end of the day you pick up a game to play it.
    When you get into this game you will play and play and play and complete then play again cos what the **** wouldve happened if I did that. I'm certain when I say this is the best game ever made it has bugs but I've left and came back to this game for years on end.

The story is perfect; set in the Mojave Wasteland you are a courier with the Mojave express on a mission to deliver a special package to the city of New Vegas but are killed by a mysterious person, but you survive and go out into the wasteland to track your killer. At the same time the New California Republic and the Ceasar's Legion are preparing for a final battle to se how will have control of the Mojave Wasteland, and Mr. House the overlord of New Vegas is preparing something in the background in order to keep New Vegas and the Mojave under his control. The gun play is pretty much the same as in other Fallout games. All in all it is a perfect Fallout game.… Expand

    Fallout: New Vegas is Hands down the best rpg-game ive ever played. No other game gave me so much choices and freedom than this game.
    The modding community did an amazing Job by making mods that improve the gameplay-experience and Fixing Bugs. Because the base game unfortunately has Major technical issues.
    I would give FNV a 9 out of 10 but considering mods its a 10 from me.

    Probably one of my favorite games of all time. Great writing especially in the characters great world too, all the factions (to me at least) are interesting in there own way. Unfortunately the exploration suffers from the short development time (thanks Bethesda) but the locations themselves especially the vaults are very fun to explore and learn about, there's also some great visualProbably one of my favorite games of all time. Although the gameplay is a little dated it still holds up due to the great perk and skill system which makes you feel like your making real progress and also effects the story. I shouldn't not mention the fantastic modding community which has made the game so much better but that's not really there because of the developers its there because of the community so i will not include in the games rating. Regardless i still think this is one of the best games of all time and the best game in the fallout series.… Expand

    I got into Fallout with 4, and eventually made my way to New Vegas. It is by far the most fun I have had in gaming ever. The story and characters are impeccable, and you feel like your choices matter. Although the graphics are a bit bleak for today's standards, I still find the game amazing.

The game really sticked me to itself so I watched tens of hours of Fallout lore videos. I don't know how was it when it first came out but in the present, I only have seen two or three glitches (which are not so important) - I played 150 hours on Xbox One and 20 hoursThe best game I've ever played. If you like RPG's with good story, good world and good characters; you're going to love it. The game really sticked me to itself so I watched tens of hours of Fallout lore videos. I don't know how was it when it first came out but in the present, I only have seen two or three glitches (which are not so important) - I played 150 hours on Xbox One and 20 hours on PC. Just wish the gameplay was better. I really hope a sequel comes to this game in near future. I think it is near thanks to Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda.… Expand

I cant even believe Obsidian pull this off with such little time.     Fallout New Vegas is a game I am drawn many years after release. American RPG's aren't very enjoyable to me, usually with mediocre consequences and lackluster non-choices. Fallout New Vegas is different, and deserved a higher metacritic for more than one reason. This is a game that asumes you aren't dumb, while also teaching you the game and gameplay while you don't realize it.

    Perfect combination of very good game as is (which is already told many times) and extremely wide capabilities to mod it to the top. Only game on bethesda unbelievably moddable engine that is not bethesda which makes it historically unique from all angles.

    I think Fallout New Vegas might just be the best written game of all time. Yes, the optimization is terrible and it crashes at least once per mission, but everything else about this game is fantastic. The guns, while sluggish are so creative and fun to shoot. New vegas also has a fantastic story, I went with house for my faction, and I think that that was the best choice for me, but thereI think Fallout New Vegas might just be the best written game of all time. Yes, the optimization is terrible and it crashes at least once per mission, but everything else about this game is fantastic. The guns, while sluggish are so creative and fun to shoot. New vegas also has a fantastic story, I went with house for my faction, and I think that that was the best choice for me, but there is no right choice, ever leader has a negative impact, and i love that. A game that has no true happy ending is always better than one with a forced kumbayah. I think that this is one of the best games ever made and is sure as hell a 10/10… Expand

    A very very very very very fun game. The quests were very engaging and fun. The gunplay could use some work but was still very fun to use. Even in 2021 this is a game any player of rpgs should play at least once. I already sunk 30 hours into the game and i bought it 6 days ago. 10/10

    This is the best modern Fallout game. Absolutely excellent RPG. The writing is great, your choices feel impactful on the story and the world. Also tons of mods to play with PC. Gets a top score from me in spite of it's technical short comings.

And can keep you busy to pass the time for many hours if you want to. I have spent 72 hours in this game and so far I liked it.     Fallout: New Vegas is not the best game ever made, but it is my favorite game of all time. The settings are superior compared to Fallout 3 imo, the dialogues are god-tier, lot of unique side quests and interesting characters, more challenging than Fallout 3, etc. I'm a bit upset tho about the Metascore, I think it should be able to surpass Fallout 3's score.

The sheer storytelling and happiness this game brings you makes it the best RPG- heck, the best game I have ever played. Obsidian really took fallout 3 and just made it a million times better. There is so much more stuff I could applaud this game for, like the optional hardcore mode, interesting lore, 4 completely different endings, how ALL of your choices effect the environment in some way, the absolute freedom the game gives you, but I don't have enough space and time to say it all.     Before you rate this game, go review the circumstances it was made in. Those poor bastards didn't get the money they were due because they sold just a little less then they agreed on with Bethesda. Yet this game carries on it's shoulders so much. There is no excuse for not taking that into consideration if your review is below a 9.

    My favorite game ever. An incredible rpg, a shining beacon of hope in the sea of games that try to crack the genre, even all these years later. The modding community is what keeps this game alive so definitely try them out (some are even essential bug fixes). Play it, PLEASE play it

    A great game with probably the best RPG system in 3D games, as well as with an excellent plot and quests. This is the best 3d Fallout and probably one of the best Fallout in the series. I really love this game and will try it again not once.

The beauty of FNV comes from the near unlimited amount of things you can do, from finding snow globes, to the various DLCs, and on and on. However, this is without even mentioning mods. This is the best moddable game of all time, as the sheer amount of quests, weapons, houses, companions, etc. you can find around the internet make this game easily my most enjoyable game of all time.     Great open world that easily can get a person lost, being absolutely hot garbage at games makes it hard to complete, but really gets good when that dopamine starts to hit as u level up ur character to un-killable god status, where u’ll die anyway but enjoy doing it. It’s too late for the team to receive their royalties, **** it, give it a try and a good score anyway.

In my opinion, Fallout New Vegas has some of the best-written characters in any video game I have ever played. The obvious ones are Mr. House and Ceasar. There is a lot of room for roleplaying. There are so many different characters you can be and there is a lot of variety in the ways you can approach the game. You can go through the game without killing a single NPC. There is also not a single NPC that you cannot kill and the game always finds a way to progress the main story no matter what characters are dead. Fallout New Vegas is an absolute triumph and can only be described as one of the best RPGs ever made… Expand

    This is an example of a true Fallout. Too bad the game came out early and a lot of bugs were not found. Interesting factions and a full open world in which you are free to make your character completely. More interesting characters compared to Fallout 3.

Но она перебила все мои ожидания .
