    The best 3D Fallout for my opinion. Everything is good in this game, except Oblivion's engine (that causes many bugs and thing like bad shooting mechanics) and unfilled
    huge wastelands between interesting places.

    The best fallout of the bethesda era, the gameplay is the same than Fallout 3, (Tho it is really fixable with mods), the story is amazing togeheter with the characters. I don't know how many hours i put when i was little playing with my ps3 to this game, but in steam i have 303h thanks to the mod community who are amazing.     Even after 10 years, I can't stop admiring this game. The variability of action, skills, characters, storyline, locations, atmosphere, and one of the best radio music in games at all! I love Fallout, and it's the best game in 3D series, though it's pretty old: graphics, textures, version of engine, shadows and everything what is normal for past-gen games. Shooting is not the best, and itEven after 10 years, I can't stop admiring this game.     New Vegas is a true successor to a Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 games. Fallout 3 is worthless in terms of RPG elements and storytelling. Play this instead and forget about F3 even existed.

    Story is better, Gun play is better, graphics look slightly better.
    there are still a bunch of bugs but this is a Bethesda game so that will always be there

    The story was rigged from the start just like Bennie said,the game mechanic just like Fallout 3 but with different like iron sights, Reloading bench, expanded workbench,new perk system and others.
    The RPG elements was very strong you can decide whatever story will go.
    I give 9 because the bug and glitch but if you want bug fixed try to download mod to fix it.

    I have over 2000 hours in this game, and I have to say that it is my favorite game of all time. The base game is a high 8. Add the DLC it's an easy 9. Start moding it and its definitely a 10.

    With many improvements over the prior game, particularly in the game mechanics, Fallout New Vegas should deserve a higher score than its predecessor, however the plot and locale did not gel with me until my second or third playthrough and it just doesn't have that special place in my heart that Fallout 3 has. Still, an incredible game and one of my all time favourites.

The authors (Obsidian) are not afraid to dose the content and do not try to shove the maximum amount of content into us in one go. Any minor quest in the wastelands of the former state of Nevada is done with soul and resourcefulness, and the significance of the decisions made is really felt.The only real Fallout in 3D. Fallout New Vegas goes all-in and puts on a role-based approach even where it’s not customary to bother now. Almost any situation (if desired) can be resolved without the use of weapons and violence, and the role system fundamentally affects the gameplay. Nevertheless, there are players who say something like: "I don’t understand why so much noise and attention around this Vegas, a bunch of boring dialogs and filler scenes. Boredom!" This is a blatant injustice. If you share this opinion, it means that you were either dramatically mistaken in the genre, or you didn’t even try to take advantage of the charms of an authentic RPG and create an authentic character. 2008 was generous with the sequels, and if you look closely, you can see that more than others succeeded those who were extremely careful about their own canons and heritage. In the case of Fallout, New Vegas became such a continuation, but by the time of release it was overtaken by the fate typical of Obsidian releases. The nuclear potential was drowned in technical problems and bugs, but today and now, when these complaints have long been exhausted, we have the peremptorily best Fallout of the 21st century and one of the best RPGs of all time. If someone considers himself a fan of first-class RPGs, but to this day has not passed New Vegas, rather make up for this unforgivable omission.… Expand

    Interesting story, great soundtrack, the game feels very real. And the dialogs - oh my God! Compared to Fallout 3 and especially F4 feels like whole another level.

    The only thing that is not good - the engine, and therefore, the shooting mechanic. That's the only negative thing I can think of. If not that - game would be the greatest of them all.

    This game is legendary in its storytelling and variety of choices and endings. Easily one of my all time favorites. The exploration is one of its best elements. Voice acting is in the next level. The only downside is it is a little buggy.

    Fallout new vegas is a game where you can pursue what ever you want, want to be a Brotherhood of Steel member and walk around in their armor? Get on their good side, as it's up to you with what you do, if you get the game on PC make sure to mod it if you dont want to encounter alot of bugs and with the DLC, it's a smorgasbord of goodness

    Fallout: NV is a incredible game made by Obsidian. In term of storywise the game is awesome.
    Only minus I can find is that rusty Bethesda engine.

Минусы есть, но с точки зрения технической, все таки графика далека от хорошей и + ко всему кривоватые анимации.     It is amazing, how this game is pretty much Fallout 3 but feels totally different. Much more akin to the old, good, titles. Freedom, that's what this is about. Some nice local stories that you can get lost in. You pretty much need multiple playthroughs to experience what it has to offer. A lot of nice throwbacks or references to the old games. This may just be the definitive falloutIt is amazing, how this game is pretty much Fallout 3 but feels totally different. Much more akin to the old, good, titles. Freedom, that's what this is about.     I must have played through this game about five times now. As a big fan of the Fallout series (for the most part), New Vegas is the one I go back to the most. Its RPG elements are the most focused upon out of the newer games, and its writing is what you'd expect from Obsidian: A+. I'd give this a 9.5 rounded up to a perfect 10.

    Si te vas a lanzar a jugarlo hoy en día tienes que tener en cuenta que hay bastantes bugs y crasheos pero si dejamos ese tema a un lado... Es el Fallout con más personalidad que se a hecho nunca es imprescindible si te gusta la saga es macarra, absurdo, bestia, con profundidad y buena historia... No se puede pedir más.

    The game genuinely looks terrible for the year it was created in. Mods are required to make it an ok experience but otherwise its pretty bad. The story and locations are well written and it adds a lot to the lore, but the gameplay, guns and combat all feels really clunky.

Obsidian Entertainment made even unforgettable work with icons. MaybeTo be honest, this the best fallout 3D game even for 2020. Obsidian has made a marvelous job. The main thing in this game is story and the genre. The retro-futurism in this Fallout, as it is in all Obsidian’s Fallouts, is significant part of ambience. Weapons look stunning, armor looks amazing. But that wonderful pipboy. Obsidian Entertainment made even unforgettable work with icons. Maybe radio there are less radio stations in New Vegas than in Fallout 3 but their quality is very good. The ambience reveals itself not only with visual design. NPCs in the game are made fantastically, they live, they want something, they help you and eventually, you find yourself attached to them. And what about genre? This Fallout is good old RPG that Black Isle Studios (Obsidian Entertainment now) made many years ago. I’m talking not only about many variants of completing the game, I’m talking about ways of playing: from being peaceful eloquent savior to a daredevil that murders everyone and everything that can be murdered (or being drunk addicted, cause it is a game, why not lol). Fallout: New Vegas, unfortunately, has some minuses. Graphics is lower than in Fallout 3 but more than acceptable, though. Obsidian needed more time to polish the game, it has some bugs but like with graphics it’s acceptable but unlike the graphics it’s not more than it. So, what do we have? A brilliant game of brilliant developers. Minuses don’t matter in this case. But, personally me, wouldn’t enjoyed this game if I were 13 because I liked different types of games and it was normal for this age. Fallout: New Vegas is a game that definitely should be played and bought, don’t use torrents, people worked really hard to make this game and they should receive money from this masterpiece… Expand

    The game was rushed by the publishers and the developer is still have us he best Fallout to date. Fallout 4, Shelters and 76 are all a complete disappointment buy that's Bethesdas favoritism at work. **** you Todd Howard.

The writing is vastly superior, the amount of items you can collect is more plentiful, the amount of customization you have on gear and skills is more advanced, the gunplay is morePossibly the best Fallout game we ever got. Still aged well thanks to how little Fallout 4 and 76 improved on the formula. But even just compared to FO3 it is better in literally every conceivable way. The writing is vastly superior, the amount of items you can collect is more plentiful, the amount of customization you have on gear and skills is more advanced, the gunplay is more realistic, and it is very clear the devs that made this game knew what they were doing with the franchise.… Expand

    This is one of the best RPGs of all time and it has nothing to do with Bethesda. Obsidian and the talent of Chris Avellone made this not only the best fallout game, but the best game associated with Bethesda

    Great game. The first time through it the differences from Fallout 3 might bug you, but you really can't go back after beating it. The guns are better, damage threshold is a better system than just DR, companions are way better, there are enemies close to as scary as deathclaws (possibly even more deadly, stupid cazadores), and there's much less of a black and white "you're either veryGreat game.     Fallout: NV became what was to be Fallout 3. Atmospheric, variability, deep. For me personally, New Vegas has become the 2nd largest Fallout, after the Fallout 2. 10/10.

I revisit it all of the time and have a great time idly playing through it on PC while I have important stuff to do now that I'm older and sh*t.     Still perfect even after years. A bit lite on content for some factions and a bit buggy (very easily fixed with mods) but that is because Bugthesda rushed Obsidian so much.

    Amazing game and its in my top 5 RPG games of all time!

    Greatest non linear RPG I have ever played. Choice matters. Who you are matters. How you tailor your character is absolutely your choice. In the wasteland there is nothing that compels you to good, nor evil. it is only you.

    The only weakness is the terrible Bethesda engine, everything else is top quality.

For anyone not inclined to read further (and I know that unlike me, Vodd Lowhard, many aren't brave enough to take a view like this), Fallout New Vegas sucks. It takes everything good about Fallout 3 (and I might have said Fallout 4, Fallout 76 andWhat a game guys, and I can honestly say that in an incredibly negative way. I had a terrible time in this asset flipped screed of a game. For anyone not inclined to read further (and I know that unlike me, Vodd Lowhard, many aren't brave enough to take a view like this), Fallout New Vegas sucks. It takes everything good about Fallout 3 (and I might have said Fallout 4, Fallout 76 and Skyrim, which is worth buying on the Nintendo 3DS when it comes out in Q3 2020, if Fallout New Vegas hadn't come out before them). Herein outlines why:

    1) The engine is terrible. When Bethesda, run by the genius Todd Howard (who is not me, Rod Saward) came up with the engine for their games in 1467, they had a purpose in mind. A goal. A vision. Something that was achieved, and then iterated upon again and again, to utter perfection. However, we, and by we, I mean us the public, and definitely not Todd Howard and his epic team of great people who are all the best at programming, realised the fact that it wouldn't last, so we updated it. The team that developed Fallout New Vegas and that awful looking new "Spouter Morlds" game (I think it's called that?) apparently didn't get the memo, and didn't update the engine or even bother to write a new engine from scratch. Pathetic. However, there is still value in older games, such as Skyrim, coming to PS Vita Q2 2021.

    2) The story. I'm sorry, but if I was invested in the confusingly boring type of story that Fallout New Vegas has decided to tell, I would go and read an intellectually heavyweight book like Charlie and the chocolate factory. Unfortunately, they've decided to jam something of that length into a game where it really doesn't belong, and you can really feel it with how jarring the number of dialogue options is in the conversations. A good example of dialogue in a game would be Skyrim (which I hear is coming to Stadia Q4 2024) or Fallout 4. A simple 4 options. Easy to understand. Perfect to play, so what if it "lacks complexity" or "is for babies". If I were Todd Howard, (and I am not, for I am Codd Mallard) I would be deeply upset by such a misunderstanding of my games. Good on him for being such a trooper and good developer

    3) The variety of weapons. There was absolutely no need for the 8 million and 4 available weapons in game (I counted them all myself). Why have different things when you could have a great system like in fallout 4, where everything follows a theme and looks lovely and in place. Why couldn't they have done that? Or Skyrim for another example. If Skyrim had had the insane number of weapons as New Vegas- the sheer bonkers number, we would not have been able to fit it into a UMD disc, exclusively for the PSP E1000 street model 2037 Q2.

    In summary. It's just not great. I couldn't give it higher than a 0, not without compromising my integrity as a fan of good, fun, enjoyable games. Play it if you want, but honestly, you'd be better off with Skyrim, which I've heard is coming to Blackberry OS devices Q1 2021, or better yet, Fallout 76.    … Expand

My only main gripe about this game would be the bugs, bug city, the PC version runs the best of the 3, with the PS3 version being a miserable mess of an amazing game.     After having played it 365 hours I don't get tired of it, there are still so many things to do, places to explore, each DLC is better than the previous one ... and not to mention trying to get all the possible endings. I strongly recommend playing it with Josh Sawyer's mod.

    On my top 10 games of all time and the best Falllout game to ever be made not by Bethesda but Obsidan. Man are there so many paths to take in this game ive played this game 2 times and i have yet to experience al the paths such as Caesars legion. great dlc, Beliavabvle npcs and a great and unique world to explore.

    I don't mind this game I like it but I like fallout 3 way more I have way better memories in fallout 3 I have good memories from this game but I have better ones in fallout 3 the expansions are good the mods are also good but the map is too small the weapons feel good and they are better than fallout 3 but fallout 3 in my opinion is just better in most ways

Personally not a fan of its fixation with factions, nor the fan-following that seems to ignore all its faults simply because it was made by Obsidian. Choices in this one don't seem to matter as much as in 3 and the characters and story are not very compelling. Overall it's got some nice elements that make it aA great game but the atmosphere just isn't there as it is in Fallout 3.     It is an insult to give this game the same score them Fallout 4, This really fell like a successor from the original Fallout series. Sometimes heavy and dark, others wacky and funny. There is everything on this game. So much options. This is a must play just like Fallout 3.

The story, the characters, the missions, every aspect of writing in this game is something fantastic and has a very deep dialogue from time toThis game is fantastic. Is some of the best RPG games I ever played, the liberty to do whatever you want to the main Courier is something that shows why Obsidian is still talented in giving a more detailed RPG game that Bethesda will ever reach. The story, the characters, the missions, every aspect of writing in this game is something fantastic and has a very deep dialogue from time to time. All the factions here are in a grey position, so they're not 100% good or 100% evil, everyone has their good and their flaws, and that is what we want in a RPG game.

    However, this game has some flaws... and sadly are big ones, like the unexpected crashes from time to time, is something sad, because the game is awesome to play, but the crashing in it becomes annoying at times, making it impossible to play. And maybe the missions are so simple, but that's because of the lots of cut content that this game has because of the rushed development.

    But I digress, this game is awesome, and everyone with a taste of RPG need to play it at least once, is some of the best RPG shooters out there and you definetly check it out.

    My final rating for this game is a solid 9/10. Has a pretty solid gameplay, a variety of sidequest to make hours and hours of gameplay, and the replay capacity to do another decisions and routes, makes this game an awesome experience in the Mojave desert.    … Expand

    This is one of the only games I still enjoy playing. It's easily one of the most fun and easy RPGs to get into. Can kill hours in this game even after so many years. May have its bugs, but I still keep playing it.

    Know let me start with the story il try not to spoil it il just say the basics.

    You start off the game by getting shot in the head by a character and you are revived by a doctor in Goodsprings. You want to do you revenge twords him so you go around the wasteland and you will find out that there are 3 main factions that is the NCR ( New California Republic) , Ceasars Leagon and Mr House. You choose with which faction you wish to go practicaly with democracy, fascism/nazism or indipented vegas. The game will show how brutal humanity realy is and you will find even little or medium quests on other little factions that make the game even deeper!
    After you choose your faction and do the story in the end you are in a battle of hover dam where you will decide what will happen to the other factions as well.

    The story, the freedom of the world and your character keeps the game alive ( as well mods) so I totaly suggest giving this game a 9.
    I cannot give this game a 10 because this game will love to crash sometimes and does have bugs that you have to fix which its annoying to do but when you atleast fix the majority you will enjoy this game allot!    … Expand

    Fallout New Vegas has an awesome storyline, shooting got a bit better, the quests are fun and the several different endings for the main storyline and even side quests are great and hold for a LOT of replay value. Not to mention the DLC's are all great as well.

    Great game. The world is really cool Ton of interesting side quests and the main story is great. Combat is decent but lacking. It doesn't have as many amazing stand out moments as Fallout 3 but overall it's more consistent which makes it better to me.

    Fallout: New Vegas is a flawed masterpiece. The graphics were dated even for 2010 (when the title released) and some technical issues still remain. However, everything else about this game is excellent - you should give it a try!

    I played for like 230hrs and it was a great experience. The highlight is the story and how well the role-playing mechanics come into play(especially the factions and perks+Skills). Though it has some glaring technical issues and a dated graphics but nevertheless the base game is awesome full of content without the DLC. Also this is a game where the choices are mostly grey and there is no good guy/bad guys in this story or factions for that matter. Everyone must not forget that this game suffered from rushed development and very limiting constraints(meh! screw Bethesda for tryin to ruin FNV). For me, it was the game I was most hyped for in my younger days and boy it did not disappoint. I really implore others to play this game as a part of games that u must play before u die(fallout 2 is a must!)

    bonus: This game has amazing replay value and each playthrough is significantly different based on ur choices in game. Also the companions are the best companions ever in a fallout game and damn Ron Perlman did a might fine job!    … Expand

    Some of the best writing in any game I've ever played, in terms of story, characters, and dialogue. The factions all feel realistic and have their own positives and negatives. The character building and progression is amazing. The dialogue options are clear. The open world manages to feel like an apocalyptic wasteland, but still not empty or completely void of life. Amazing game, 10/10.

The choices you make matter, they impact you and the world around you.     I have 300+ hours of this game. Don't kid yourself, it's one of the best Fallout's every made. Factions don't get any better than this. Choice and consequences don't get any better. Fantastic!

The world feels believable and while the animations and graphics are a bit dated the characters all feel fleshed out with their own goals and lives.     Fallout: New Vegas looks like an Add On to Fallout 3, but that should not mean, that it's a copy of its forerunner. It scores with an great atmosphere, nice story and all the typical and awesome Fallout features.
