    It kinda feels like a lite/worse version of Fallout 4. The new missions with npcs made the game better, but the stories are still not really interesting and way to short. I wouldnt play this game solo, because it just doesnt feel fun, i only played it with friends. Why did they even make a cap for the players chest this just ruins the fun. A change a while ago completly ruined the game forIt kinda feels like a lite/worse version of Fallout 4. A change a while ago completly ruined the game for me tho. Enemies now scale with your level so there is not really any player progression. A low level will deal as much damage to an enemy as somebody with a higher level since the enemies scale to each player. When you get stronger over time the enemies in the same area get stronger aswell so there is not point for me to upgrade my character. The System before was way better, where enemies would have a certain fixed level in a specific area. I also prefered the perk system in Fallout 4 where you could unlock every single perk. It is a grind to unlock every perk, but this was another reason that kept me playing. Why couldnt they just make a Fallout with coop combatibility instead of an online Fallout. Im just gonna stick to the other Fallout entries for now.… Expand

    can't even play it
    keep getting disconnected from their server constantly even after the Bethesda support recommendations.

    It's hard to define all the reasons this game is bad. Disgusting business practices? Bad customer support/service? Crap forum moderation? No cohesive plan for DLC releases. Day one game breaking bugs persistent through year two? Yea, this game isn't even worth this review. Done.

    The game is honestly not that bad, until they decide to perm ban you for nothing. Stay away from this trash unless you enjoy getting robbed for $60

    I played this once on Xbox game pass and I hate it. Probably because I'm not such a multiplayer fan, also microtransactions and greedy developers.

    The graphics are ugly as sin with absurd post-processing effects. They made combat worse than Fallout 4, so they removed the fun part. The reward for my first quest was a slot machine token. A quest giver told me to go grind until I was level 20. So many random annoying events like "kill [0/x] of [insert name here]".     The game itself isn't that bad, especially after the major updates. But it's simply not fallout.
    If u aren't a fallout fan I can't find a reason to stop u from playing this, but if u r, don't play this.

    Ima just live the rest of my life thinking this as a dlc to fo4

    This game should 've been a Multiplayer add-on for Fallout 4 because it's basically the same game without an offline mode and that's it.

    A complete wasteland of wasted potential. Elder Scrolls Online was a major failure, and it seemed like it would be Bethesda's greatest failure. However this game managed to take that title. Not only is this the worst game Bethesda has ever made, it is the biggest letdown in over a decade as Bethesda fell from great heights to this pathetic mess of a game.

    It is really disgusting that after you pay 60 dollars/euros you will have to get a gamepass like subscription to enjoy the full game, and its not just skins, but armors and completely different game modes. Fallout 4 looked better and the building is not fun anymore and it has no point. Literally no choices in an RPG and it doesnt have some of the fun gameplay mechanics in other Fallouts.

    I have played over 2000 hours, and I love the game, reason is live service online team with players play on public events, visiting player's camps, storyline and side quests are good, able to turn PVP off in setting, activities are always keep going and never ending, infinite fun. I love the emotes. Yes, this game does have microtransaction, but so does Fallout 4 creation club, and it's just optional. No point to complain about having nice and cool cosmetic stuffs from atomic shop. Atomic stuffs are carried over on each new characters on the same account are the pro. When I see all the negative reviews are laughable to me. I played over 2000 hours and the game is the best game I ever play. I love how camp set up anywhere I want around Appalachia. I love this game, man! Thank you Bethesda for making this game and all the updates and patches.… Expand

    I've been playing since the Beta and I love this game. The updates over the past 5 years have kept me interested in this game longer than any other Fallout in the series. I sincerely hope Bethesda takes all the good stuff from 76 when they start working on Fallout 5. Mutations are a game changer and in a world that is dealing with mutants on the daily, I can't believe 76 is the firstI've been playing since the Beta and I love this game. The updates over the past 5 years have kept me interested in this game longer than any other Fallout in the series. I sincerely hope Bethesda takes all the good stuff from 76 when they start working on Fallout 5. Mutations are a game changer and in a world that is dealing with mutants on the daily, I can't believe 76 is the first one to really explorer it. Also, its so much more fun playing with real people instead of just companions.… Expand

    Fallout 76 represents a big disappointment and the lowest point of the series so far. Riddled with bugs, repetitive and dull gameplay, nonexistent story and outdated graphics, it fails as a both multiplayer and singleplayer experience for fans and newcomers alike.

    Miracles do happen once in a while and No Man’s Sky proved that sometimes it is possible to get back on your feet even after a terrible failure. Right now though Fallout 76 is botched spectacularly on so many levels that even talking about this game is a waste of time. [01/2019, p.46]
