Brand new map , new monsters , weapons , story , interesting cast . Fallout was already damn good game, and the previous was great too. but this new dlc is really worth the money .bethesda always succeeds to deliver more interesting stories to the fallout universe.

A great new area to explore with some interesting stories. Better than the base game by far.

But the new area is pretty empty I look forward to exploring the map and finding the map icons that I haven't explored yet. In this DLC you get a map to the entire island early on so there is no discovery and most of the island is empty. A let down given the general series. The story itself

The story itself starts out great with the fog, the survivors and synth. But it pretty much boils down to nothing quickly. At the end of the DLC you have to pretty much decide the fate of the factions but none of the choices really matched what I wanted. But to clear the quests from my list I had to make a choice that pretty much made my personal opinion obsolete. Hard to get too involved in the story after that.

I have finished EVERY single quest and found EVERY location in this new DLC's island. I am lvl 106 now and Far Harbor has been my FAVOURITE experience of Fallout 4. It really feels like playing a Fallout game again, especially so with survival mode. I have gained 24 lvls doing every single sidequest, none of which crashed the game. Characters feel REAL with real problems and beliefs and you can use your skills in conversations, like in older Fallout games, especially New Vegas. Music is absolutely gorgeous and memorable, as well as locations and new enemies. New companion is very interisting and has deep character. There are some consequences for joining different factions in Commonwealth as well. There are many ways of dealing with main quests as well as several sidequests, that have different story alternatives. This isn't reskin of Point lookout DLC from Fallout 3, it's better in many ways. I would recommend buying Fallout 4 just for this DLC, it's awesome and Bethesday really did listen to their fanbase when creating it, however it's quite expensive now, so I am taking away 1 point. Thank you Bethesda for this DLC, stay great. Expand

Far Harbor is a great expansion and almost feels like a full game on its own. It creates a stark contrast with the commonwealth in more aspects than just being dark and foreboding; it has an interesting plot that creates a sense of mystery, believable npc's and immersive quest lines & factions. The island is highly detailed, filled to the brim with content and pretty large.

Additionally it offers cool new weapons, new monsters & enemy factions, improved settlement building with four great locations and a proper challenge, at least on survival mode. And it has fog. Lots of it. Initially my FPS suffered a bit due to that (i7,GTX970, SDD), but after updating Nvidia drivers, optimizing for FO4 and picking adaptive V-sync it runs much smoother.

Fantastic expansion. Adds a lot of great quests with choice and decisions. Skill/stat checks within the gameworld like classic Fallout games, interesting dialogue, well thought out factions as well as a lot more control on how the main quest pans out.

Dialogue and quests are a big improvement over some of Fallout 4's areas where it fell a little flat. If that isn't enough for you, how about a HUGE world with a plethora of interesting locations, and (SMALL SPOILER AHEAD) a new Vault? Although I've not done the quest associated with the new vault (Vault 118), I've heard from those who've done it, that it's one of if not the best Vault(s) in the Fallout series to date.

Bethesda in my opinion (As well as the opinion of most others) clearly listened to player feedback in terms of adding more RPG elements to Fallout 4. All in all, yes Far Harbor is worth it. And I have no idea why someone would give it a bad or even mixed review. (Unless because of performance reasons. In that case though they should post a review explaining that).

TL;DR Far Harbor is huge, detailed, has a lot more RPG depth, a lot of new interesting quests, locations, weapons/armor, interesting characters. It's worth the buy, even if you're disappointed with the base game.

Great expansion for Fallout 4, enjoyed the new gear, weapons, characters, and really the atmosphere in general. The only thing I didn't like was that it felt too short for a $25 dollar expansion but otherwise a great expansion.

A far better story than the main campaign, and a lot of throwback scenery from Point Lookout. Far Harbor was really the only dlc I was looking forward to, it's story driven, opens up a new location, offers dozens of quests to complete for the various groups living on Far Harbor, as well as adding new enemies and desperately needed new weapons to the game (some of which are my favorite in the game).

I've spent around 15 hours strolling through Far Harbor helping certain factions

So I say it's worth the price of admission. 8.5/10

It sad me, bc this game will get attack quick, but the true this DLC is really good, it add alot that was missing on the main game.

Bethesda promise us the biggest land mass THEY have ever done and is true it is, is bigger that Dragonborn. The place is amazing and the whole isle take around 20-25hs to complete so as a DLC is worth the price.

this DLC is a great example of what DLC should be, not map pack and other **** that call of duty and battlefield does but this dlc loses 2 points because it's bit overpriced but if you want to play than go a head

Un DLC simplemente genial en cuanto ambientación, personajes, nuevos monstruos, además agrega una historia súper interesante e hicieron algo que a mí me gustó mucho, que fue profundizar la facción de los hijos del átomo así como también la de los synths. Nuevas armas y armaduras. Vale completamente la pena

I owned Fallout 4 w/o any DLC since it came out, and finally the price for the Season Pass dropped to a price I am actually willing to pay. Thus, I finally got to check out the DLC.

I was so concerned that the weird/sci-fi/apocalypse feeling that New Vegas and Fallout 3 instilled in me when I first played those games would never come back in the new Fallout games. Far Harbor disproved

I was so concerned that the weird/sci-fi/apocalypse feeling that New Vegas and Fallout 3 instilled in me when I first played those games would never come back in the new Fallout games. Far Harbor disproved me, and I am so happy to say that. This DLC is fantastic--for all true Fallout fans that saw right through the shortcomings of Fallout 4. Every choice is optional. Every quest is optional. Every choice you make has a hugely different effect. The order in which you choose has a hugely different effect. The moral implications are gray and distorted. It is up to the player to decide what is right and wrong in this scenario.

Fallout 4 w/o Far Harbor is just a big pile of corporate Bethesda BS. It's like the writing staff from New Vegas came back to make a great DLC and they succeeded.

I really enjoyed this DLC - plenty to do on the island and many interesting characters to meet. There is a diverse range of quests and side-quests. Some enemies can be very challenging so ensure that you are of a high level before taking the trip to the island. This is what DLC should be as you get many hours worth of content and a fairly large new map with a dense amount of locales. THIS is What Fallout 4 should have been all along! This is a beautifully crafted, poignant role-playing experience that truly captures everything that people came to love in Fallout from Fallout 1 to Fallout New Vegas.

No useless mission, everything is perfectly connected and wonderfuly voice-acted. 10 / 10
