It’s Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes but you’re in Hell, and instead of defusing bombs, you’re exorcising demons. Grab a buddy to play with, make yourself comfortable and decipher the Book of Rituals as you put Satan’s spawn back to its place through seven unique rituals.

From the moment I was dropped in the game, I didn't feel very attached to my character or the background story that was going on, and the rituals felt somewhat tedious in their design. Though I loved the designs of the altars and thought they were creative, in the execution of the rituals our party felt somewhat tired and frustrated by the gameplay instead of rewarded and accomplished.

Exorcise The Demons made it's way to us on the 18th of September in 2019 courtesy of Kickstarter. I really am a fan of Kickstarter and IndieGoGo and them giving people a chance to make their dreams happen. i also like the fact that you can be a part of that as well. Let's get to the summoning of Demons though. It comes to us from a indie developer in France called Midnight Games EIRL. This is the first game I played of theirs so i really couldn't compare it to any of their other work. It's a first person horror puzzler that you can play with a friend online, offline, or on your own using the manual. In story mode you play as John and you start off in Hell, and it is really beautiful there. Strange sentence I know , don't have to tell me. I was blown away though by a lot of things there how nice they looked on my PC.I think you'd probably need a pretty decent PC to play this at a decent frame rate, and if you do I think you will enjoy the visuals as well.
You are giving a guide and her name is "L" I really enjoyed her voice acting.Brigitte Lecordier from Skyrim and The Witcher does a really nice job. I didn't much care for the voice acting of John though, and some of the things he said really put me off on him. I didn't like my character at all really, I wish he had more dialogue choices because playing as him I didn't relate to. Pierre-Alain De Garrigues comes off kind of stiff in this performance. I'm really surprised cause I enjoyed his voice acting in other games.
While trying to escape hell there are seven random generated rituals to take part in. The story is delivered through 25 missions, and I enjoyed them a lot. They are a lot of fun for you, but the person helping you really doesn't get to do a lot but read from a book of rituals. I think playing it by your self is the better option really. I could see this really annoying the person helping you, and your self when they mess up. There is also a free mode where you can design your own journey as well. I enjoyed playing solo really the most while being narrated by "L" I think there is a lot more coming for this as well as I have heard the DLC is completely free.
IS this for you? It's hard to say really. I'm not huge into demon type games, but I still found enjoyment. Is it some thing i'll probably play again? I doubt it, but i could see others enjoying it. especially people who like to play with friends and are into demonic type games. I think it is pretty nice quality all around. Really well developed, and worth your time if it sounds interesting to you. You can see the work that went into this especially visually. If any one tries it certainly let us know though. Love to hear more opinions on this one. Love to hear from people into stuff like this maybe some D&D fans.

Pros: Hell has never been more beautiful
Great voice acting by Brigitte Lecordier
    Love the random generation
    Free DLC
    Cool Looking Demons

Cons: Boring voice acting by Pierre-Alain De Garrigues
COOP kind of a let down

Overall: 6.5 Summoning Demons was more fun than I had expected, but some stale voice acting and writing for main character kind of let me down a little. Wasn't to thrilled with the COOP either, but playing a lone was pleasantly surprising. It isn't some thing i'm likely to play again, but it is something I enjoyed more than I thought I would.
