May 2, 2023Escape from The Red Planet may have its flaws, however, it is still a fun game. From its pleasant visuals to its engaging gameplay, this title is an enjoyable experience. Despite the repetitive soundtrack and the lack of content within the game, I recommend playing this game.

Apr 3, 2023Escape From The Red Planet is a tower defence game incorporating aspects of lite resource management and rail shooters. That sounds like many things, but Escape From The Red Planet manages to simplify this concept to its bone. This simplification helps the game flow well but also leads to aspects where the game is sometimes way too simplified. All this leads to a pleasant game which is short and fun.

Apr 5, 2023Escape From The Red Planet isn’t the most complex tower defense hybrid experience. The story is thin and the gameplay is easy to learn. Mastering might take more time but failure is linked to limitations like the slow aim rather than the tactical complexity. The Martians themselves are a failure of design. The entire experience mostly works as a streamlined introduction to the tower defense genre. The first-person combat moments add some extra excitement but don’t feel like a big innovation. Escape From The Red Planet is a decent game for someone who wants to see what the genre can offer but there are plenty of better alternatives for more experienced players.
