    First of all, people who gave **** grade only bc of denuvo does not deserve to play any game and have right to grade anything. This is such a dick move towards producers for so many years of Techland supporting DL1 (and planning to support DL2 for I'm sure many years as well). This game is awesome! I spend so many hours playing first part and second one does not disappoint me at all! Yeah, some may say the story is poor, I can agree, but I never played any part od DL for the story, this is so much fun to just run around and do crazy stuff. It runs great on my PC, steady 75 fps, looks great and only had one issue so far with keyboard vs controller but it's fixed now.     Pretty good game. Improved on some areas to the first game. Except for crafting weapons which was an important feature, but just not that good in this game. The controls feel twitchy and inaccurate. For normal gameplay it is okay, but climbing a tall building or tower can be very frustrating when you fall to your death being almost at the top due to bad, inaccurate controls.     Terrible, disgusting game, and the same terrible optimization, the developers also put Denuvo. And the main problem was that firearms were removed from the game, it feels like the action of the game takes place in the Stone Age.

    Pretty nice game, good sequel. Greate combat and parkour, amazing choises. And only thing that ruin this game od optimalisation. But if you're fan of the first part definitly must play.

    I feel like I'm not playing the same game as some of these other reviewers.

    I'm enjoying this game immensely, and it has actually exceeded my expectations. I thought the first game was fairly mediocre, and the second game has me sold. - Progression System is pretty good. It goes along with the story and character development. Leveling greatly improves both your combat and parkour    I feel like I'm not playing the same game as some of these other reviewers.

    - Combat is ridiculously fun. Even more so once you get a few levels under your belt. The combat feels visceral and engaging

    - Several different enemy types, both zombies and factions. When combined together, this is quite a large number of different enemies.

    - I'm personally enjoying the story quite a bit. I don't think the characters are dull or uninteresting. A lot of t hem are very believable and the voice acting is definitely above standard. I'm not sure what people are comparing this game to when it comes to animations and voice actor quality. There might be 1 or 2 RPGS out there with better quality.

    I guess I never follow the hype campaigns that these companies put out, so I don't know if that's playing into some of these other reviews. I was definitely surprised on how much I'm enjoying this game, and the RPG elements are much appreciated.    … Expand

    This game is absolutely a marvel. In every aspect it's an improvement to the predecessor, in terms of combat, parkour, everything. Gameplay is one of the most addictive out there, you can web swing like spider man, climb like in mirror's edge and fight like Kratos in god of war. Well earned 10/10, keep up the good work Techland.

    What an amazing game! Has a few bugs but will be fixed with patches just basic Game release stuff. So happy for once a company just improved there formula for what there game got praised about originally! Thank you Techland for such an amazing gift. Please continue and just let dying light be what it is and just improve it as you have it all already

    DYING LIGHT was wonderful, the second part is even better. Many elements have been improved, the world is more vivid. I believe in further development of the game like the previous one.
    And the best part is the lack of dubbing in the language of pizza! You guys are the best Techland

This sequel is fantastic and truly an evolution of everything that made the first Dying Light fun. Is it a little less scary? Yes.     Well i like parkour and environment in game but optimization its the point where everything **** up.
    No manual saves and this essential when game can crash in random moments.
    Little bit strange scenarios.
    So when game will be more stable its really 7-8/10.

    It's a game I've tried a lot, but I've never liked it. It's definitely not a game that fulfills what the producer promised. Unless the price drops as much as the first game, it's not worth buying and playing.

Seriously, sometimes I felt broken after them, but that is a positive thing because it shows how immersive the experience can be and how engaging the side quests are. I hear so much denuvo problem but honestly i did not get problem at all. My gpu RTX 3070 and and other specs 32 gb ram ryzen 5 3600x. Also game installed on gen4 ssd. 2k ultra setting and dlssI love the game guys. Parkour and combat so fun. Also love skill tree. I literally play 45 hours that game and i focused side missions or activitys . Yeah i see bugs but not game broken stuff. I hear so much denuvo problem but honestly i did not get problem at all. My gpu RTX 3070 and and other specs 32 gb ram ryzen 5 3600x. Also game installed on gen4 ssd. 2k ultra setting and dlss quality mode game give me 100-80 fps sometimes even more.     The game is very fun, Easter Egg is quite a lot, free running is somewhat smoother than the first picture gives us a lot of freedom, plus the soundtrack also fits the rhythm of us running or fighting, this one is very good, 10 out of 100, who is it? Dying light fans, you won't be disappointed.

    Played only few hours so far, but love the city design, especially rooftops; indoor apartments seem a bit repetitive though... Plays smoothly 4K on my 1080Ti. Quests are ok, has a strong vibe of DL1, enjoying it so far.

    While playing this game, I couldn't get out of my mind how beautiful the Polish language sounds in the post-apocalyptic world. Luckily they didn't add some other language that has a lot to do with Mario and pizza, because it would only spoil the atmosphere. Thank you Techland.

    About 12 hrs into the game so far and I am just having a lot of fun grinding, killing zombies, looting, doing parkour, and other side content. I haven't even being doing the main quests that quickly because the gameplay loop is so fun and addicting up until this point.     Плюсы:
    - Общая атмосфера, палитра цветов и карта.
    - Очень много активностей, квестов, интересных точек на карте.
    - Харизматичные персонажи, запоминаются.
    - Хорошая озвучка, такое встретишь нечасто (русский мат в ассортименте).
    - Много холодного оружия, улучшения к нему из первой части никуда не делись.
    - Если в первой части ночью не было особо смысла вылазить, то здесь большинство ценностей нужно искать в темное время суток. Многие квесты также доступны только ночью.
    - Паркур и боёвка очень плавные и проработанные.
    - Мир довольно живой и насыщенный базами фракций, бандитами. Можно часто встретить этих людей, чем-то занятых
    - Система фракций, на мой взляд, реализована довольно здорово и влияет на геймплей.
    - Не понимаю, за что так засрали сюжет. По моему мнению, цель главного героя хоть и банальна, но подача и сюжетные квесты довольно интересны. В сюжете действительно есть ключевые моменты, от выбора которых зависит судьба города и персонажей.

    С учётом скорых патчей и фиксов - твёрдая восьмерка.    … Expand

    Игра зашла, по сравнению с первой частью в разы лучше. Сюжет стал интереснее, появились новые механики. Играл на Ps4 , оптимизация хорошая.

    Really good game, gameplay is really fun. I don't know why others give it 0/10 because of denuvo or bad story. For me, story is good in it's own way.

    If I had one criticism, it would be the choice in American voice acting. The voice acting is excellent, that's not the issue. The issue is the accent. Villador is somewhere in Europe. I understand that the English language version needed to have English speaking voice actors, but it would have been more immersive to have Europeans speaking English with their native accent. That's my only complaint, and it's so minimal it's hardly worth mentioning at all.

    This game is a 10/10 for me. It checks all the boxes. It's all the things in a game I love, specifically in the Action Adventure RPG category. I love the Far Cry series. I love RAGE 2. I love Cyberpunk 2077. I love the Metro series. I love Mad Max. I love Tomb Raider. I love The Division. I love the Red Faction series... and I love the Dying Light series.

    Techland... you've done it again. Improved above and beyond the first game, which I love, and will still always play... thank you... thank you so much! Masterpiece! Instant classic! So glad I preordered. Can't wait to see what DLC is planned, and what's next!    … Expand

    It'd a damn good game but it has some issues. The main problem is the story - the construction of it is misconseptive and unfortunetly your choices don't come together at the right moment, feel like they don't matter at all, and you really don't develop any bonds with so generic characters.

    (dialogue feels like someone wrote it not in his native language and then translated it back if you catch my drift - writing is filled with flat epithets, **** comparisons, moments straight from a B-movie like "Welcome to the paradise" - I mean Jesus Christ, give it some heart, some originality, spice, flavour, not this mumble jumble bullsh*t - It is apocalypse after all!)
    So the actors generously endowed with these type of text either nailed it (Aiden) or meh or there was something like Hermann (I have a suspicion that he read the script and was like "Hey guys maybe make my character deaf and spare me this opportunity allright?")
    Animations sometimes work, sometimes don't, there are many bugs to be resolved by devs.
    Gameplay is fantastic, parkour mechanics, fighting system - after couple of hours in a game it just clicks and you want MORE and MORE and MORE and MORE (SUPER...HOT...SUPER...HOT) - which of course is strictly tied to skill system that feels really rewarding and well measured.
    Side quests are fun like a piñata - those mini-stories were so much better than a main one.
    Art-style presented at E3 was superior to the looks of final product but I mean... it's still gorgeus
    Graphics is not top tier by any means, and optimalization is 5/10 (PC)/but music is memorable and sound effects are crispy and enjoyable.
    Some changes like risk at night, lack of guns (but there is a bow and a spears), Weapon upgrade system, crafting etc. - Opinions about it are arbitrary for example most folks didn't play at night in DL1 and now folks complain because it is too easy and they don't feel pressure - i mean you can't both have a cookie and eat a cookie

    It's a very fun game, the most of it can be repaired within a year, and I have complete trust in Techland that it's going to be 2 points better - but for now - it is what it is.    … Expand

    Very good game, parkour system and main quest line. Melee Combat system is very good. I'm waiting for DLC "Break spaghetti before you cook it". For racist italians.

    Game is amazing my only complaints are the story and the enemy variety. Story lacks here and there and wasn't really compelling also the decisions in the game i think are pointless they don't change much other than the open world bonuses the factions give and enemy variety is bad for a long game like this one literally only 3-4 human enemies and 6-7 zombie variants. Overall a solid game but if you you are not a fan of parkour/movement games or fan of the first game i would suggest to wait for a discount or to buy the game with the epic games discount coupon.     Game has fantastic story telling and the gameplay is a fresh new take from the great original. Most peoples complaints are the bugs but it is now day 3 and they have released many bug fixes which have made the game a smooth sailing experience which is a joy to play and I hope you will enjoy it aswell reading this!

    Developers, don't be fooled by these **** who didn't bring the language, your game is a logical development of the first part, in the second you improved everything, something to a lesser extent, the game pulls 9 points unambiguously, for the heavy atmosphere, the screams of people who are torn apart by zombies, excellent parkour and a normal plot, thanks to the developers for the game

    Btw how childish you could be when game is coming out without your language dubbing and you are soo offended that u need to review booming it... It's a lot more immersive for me, makes it more realistic, and gives a greater feeling of achievement, as things take time to progress in. I like it. Haven't played far enough in the story to really know how much of an impact my choices have - so far I'm enjoying the storyline, but agrees that Aiden is a bit boring lmao.

    I wish there was weapon repairs tho, but maybe a bit more balanced than the first game. Here, your weapon breaks to fast, in the first game it lasted too long. (in my opinion) Overall a really good experience with room for some improvements.     A really fun game where parkour plays an important role, a big city full of nooks waiting to be discovered. Add to that a fun dueling system and it turns out that the game has a lot to offer players. A funny glitch appears here and there, but nothing would ruin your game.

    Unlike the other polish game released recently it lives up to it's hype. The game improves upon parkour mechanics from the first game and level design of open world makes it shine even brighter. Personally combat for is a little less satisfying. The weapons apart from 2-handed ones lack weight. Apart from that while combat with humans is a lot better than in the first game the AI often feels dumb. The open world itself feels like old ubisoft open worlds where you will be doing the same things over and over but they always attach a spin to each thing and make it feel unique. Some people may dislike this design I however enjoyed it thoroughly. The upgrades trees are just like in the first game genius and the progression is satisfying. The stamina change really makes a difference in the open world however at times it feels like the system was changed in a way to keep you away from progressing too fast through the story and gatekeep you from completing certain activities. The story is really boring with tons of plotholes, inconsistent characters which also often are really flat or annoying and quite cliche plot drive with a lost family member. There's also a ton of junk in terms of bugs but sooner or later they will get fixed and they weren't a dealbreaker for me. Overall the game lives up to both first game and expectations and while it has it's cons it is fun and really enjoyable with tons of content to sustain players interest and keep them playing,… Expand

    Despite all my complaints, I initially had fun with Dying Light 2. The first quarter of the game was engaging. I think if the rest of the game played like this, I would have way more positive things to say, but the fact is that it’s just not done. This is clearly an unfinished game mired in mismanagement. I don’t blame the developers at all; the leaders and executives behind this work are responsible. What works here is clean and well done, albeit with some boring AAA niceties. After the first quarter or so, though, the game absolutely falls apart in almost every respect. I’m sad for what was produced here, but if I’m being honest, I’m more sad that I invested nearly thirty hours of my own time into this. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

    There is fun to be had here, but aside from a few moments of joyous parkour, it's the sort of fun you can have in dozens of other open-world games. There is certainly some added fun in co-op with a couple of friends, but in a world where we get another open-world game every week, I just cannot recommend anyone go out and buy Dying Light 2 at full price. Especially not when it came out right before Horizon: Forbidden West and Elden Ring, both of which look far more promising.
