Feb 1, 2018To put it simply, Dragon Ball FighterZ is stunning in motion.
-
Jan 26, 2018Dragon Ball FighterZ is fun on so many levels. I had fun with it as a competitive hardcore fighting game. I had fun with it as a hopeless screaming otaku. I even had fun grinding up Zeni to unlock characters and dress my lobby avatar up. I haven’t had this much fun with a fighting game in a very long time. DBFZ is one title that casuals and pros alike won’t want to miss.

Feb 27, 2018Polished, fast, over-the-top and most of all fun, Dragon Ball FighterZ is a fighting game worth more than just a passing glance. Its lengthy campaign alone will keep you glued to the action for a while, but its other gameplay options and Dragon Ball universe depth make it something of a must own -- whether your DBZ fan alumni, or fighting game guru. One of the year’s excellent fighting game releases.
-
Feb 17, 2018Dragonball FighterZ achieves its goal of being accessible and entertaining to everyone, while retaining its own personality and a near never-ending depth of a pure fighting title. If you like fighting games just a bit, Dragonball FighterZ should be in a prominent position for your next purchases.
-
Jan 29, 2018Great anime fighting game with a scalable and very dynamic combat system that should thrill beginners and professionals alike.
-
Feb 14, 2018Dragon Ball FighterZ is a great game that should be an automatic purchase for any fans of the Dragon Ball franchise, and is worth a hard look from anyone that may be intimidated to jump into their first fighting game. It’s too early to make claims about the game’s longevity, balance, and online community, but the pieces are certainly in place to for the game to have some legs.
-
Feb 6, 2018Accessible yet complex, chaotic yet beautiful, this is the real fighting game deal.
-
PC PowerPlayApr 5, 2018An excellent fighting game, even if you're not a fan of Dragon Ball. [Issue#270, p.54]
-
Feb 20, 2018This fighter looks great, sounds better, having enough depth and complexity to warrant its asking price. Every detail is tended to, which makes fun, challenging gameplay that is easy to learn but hard to master.

Jan 30, 2018Dragon Ball FighterZ’s biggest strength is its simplicity. When it tries to get complex, like its onerous online multiplayer lobby system, it stumbles.
-
Feb 7, 2018Problems with lobbies and repetitive modes aside, Dragon Ball FighterZ is everything I want out of a Dragon Ball fighting game. It’s colourful, kinetic and full of character. Struggling through the matchmaking noise has been worth it to actually fight as my main man Goku, and throwing a Kamehameha has never felt better, but there’s still work to be done to give the excellent core of the game the wider structure that it deserves.
-
Jan 31, 2018It plays like Dragon Ball. While it plainly owes a lot to MVC3, Dragon Ball FighterZ manages to strike a balance between tag versus fighter ideas and the iconic imagery and designs of its license to create the best Dragon Ball game there’s ever been – and arguably one of the best licensed games ever.
