    What can I say? Doom eternal. it requires no introduction. this game actually helped me get better at other shooter games with its intensity.

    Doom Eternal is incredible. Its fast, hard, gory, weighty, and the supershotgun. It has so much to offer in gameplay.

    Doom Eternal is killer. Loved Doom since the original and I love this one too. Completely satisfied with the gameplay and i haven't even touched the multiplayer. The campaign is always the highlight.

    Probably the best game I've played in years, I would say play DOOM 2016 first, as Eternal has a lot of the same features and then more, but honestly, the game is really good even if you don't play 2016 first, and it's in general really good. Really, it's just an incredibly good game, considering it's a free bonus for buying this sick soundtrack, wait, I wasn't paying for the soundtrack?

    At first it give you adrenaline rush for keep dying over and over again (i play Ultra-Violence, on the first play), but over time you get the hang of it, the game loop, and really git gud. It was a satisfying feeling, 666/10 would kill myself with rocket launcher again.

    Doom gave me carpel tunnel in my fingers, BUT ITS SO GOOD OMG. if i died and came back to life i would do it all over again.

    Hands down, the most entertaining gameplay ever. Also delivers a great story and amazing atmosphere with the music taking it to another level as well as the scenery and level design.

    Welcome to Bible study! Turn to the Book of Corrax 7:17: "So you walk eternally through the shadow realms, standing against evil where all others falter. May your thirst for retribution never quench, may the blood on your sword never dry, and may we never need you again." 10/10 a true masterpiece of the FPS genre.

    Excellent shooting and quite different from 2016. The changes are welcome as it improved the combat and requires more strategizing than just instinctive shooting.

    Doom eternal is one of those games where you are not encouraged to find cover and shoot but instead fight head on ripping and tearing your way open there's also a few platforms and couple of simple puzzles but most of this game consists of high tension gauntlets where each fight just feels like a puzzle where you need to switch from weapon to weapon picking off demons guns or shooting atDoom eternal is one of those games where you are not encouraged to find cover and shoot but instead fight head on ripping and tearing your way open there's also a few platforms and couple of simple puzzles but most of this game consists of high tension gauntlets where each fight just feels like a puzzle where you need to switch from weapon to weapon picking off demons guns or shooting at their shields with a plasma rifle and I think this adds a lot of depth to this game the need to approach each enemy with a certain method the game is also not afraid to throw you off and force you to switch strategies there's this Marauder demon who gives very little openings as a purely defensive demon and you must catch him off guard to chip away his health. Overall rip and tear is good buy it on sale.… Expand

It's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea because they've essentially turned a fairly straightforward shooter into the closest thing you can get to a first person character action game (Other than ULTRAKILL). There's layers and layers of complexity and split-second decision making to be made in DOOM: Eternal and whether this is a good orEverything you loved about DOOM 2016 ramped up to 11. It's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea because they've essentially turned a fairly straightforward shooter into the closest thing you can get to a first person character action game (Other than ULTRAKILL). There's layers and layers of complexity and split-second decision making to be made in DOOM: Eternal and whether this is a good or bad thing depends on your perspective.… Expand

    This has to be one of the best games that I've ever played, visually the game is just amazing, the amount environmental story telling is extremely cared for and does wonders for the imagination of how this happened and how that happened, the gameplay is extremely enjoyable as the game forces you to constantly be aware of your surroundings and manage ammo, health and armour. Oh and the Music Is amazing, Mick Gordon's work has passed through my ears so many times and each time still has the same energy, even when I'm not playing the game I still listen to the music, the use of synth and metal is such a powerful combination that makes the player (talking from experience) feel like they could kill the dark lord himself. I look forward to what comes next Id but no need to rush, this will keep me entertained for a LONG time.… Expand

    If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

    Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
