    Absolutely love this game, very much up my alley.
    Currently playing through the DLC and getting my butt kicked.

    The full experience is worth playing, and multiple game modes encourage replaying the campaign in different ways.

    Played this game for 6 hours straight all the way to the 3rd priest. my doctor diagnosed me with short-form ptsd.

    Anyone who remembers the Doom of old, the speed, the guts, the blood and killing. This is 20 times better.

    Yes just please try out this game at least once, I recommend playing doom 2016 first then playing this game, this game allows you to play in many styles it's amazing.

    You know how people tell you to "GIT GUD" when you're struggling with games? This game teaches to you GIT GUD rather quickly. A violent, gore-filled love letter to FPS gamers everywhere, DOOM Eternal will have you reinstalling it months later to relive the glory kills, chainsaw more Imps, and BFG your way to hell (and heaven) and back.

    Do you like chainsaws, shotguns, explosions, bloodshet and endless action with heavily distorded heavy metal music?

    If your answer is yes, this game will you an orgasm. A good one.

    Was hard af but had a blast and got way better. The mechanics of this game were so enjoyable to learn and master. Great game.

    I'm posting this review since it will permanently say that I had 69 hours at time of review. Good game, fun core gameplay loop, decent-ish story, well optimized. Very very very rarely drop frames outside of Super Gore Nest even with most settings on Ultra-Nightmare and in the year and a bit that I've been playing it on and off its never crashed on me. If you like fast shooters that aren'tI'm posting this review since it will permanently say that I had 69 hours at time of review. Good game, fun core gameplay loop, decent-ish story, well optimized. Very very very rarely drop frames outside of Super Gore Nest even with most settings on Ultra-Nightmare and in the year and a bit that I've been playing it on and off its never crashed on me.     This is what video games should be. Fast, precise, wide array of gameplay, tactics if you want; a good story thats makes sense for the overall pacing and has very interesting lore thats told through the environment n such. Ambient audio, etc. They put heart into it - its fun. Truly fun.

    IT IS BY FAR THE BEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED IN YEARS!! My dad played the original doom back in 1997 so i wanted to play this game to carry on his legacy.

    Eternal is gold. It takes the best parts of 2016, amps all of it up, and tosses in various new mechanics resulting in a game that is so exhilarating, fast paced, and gruesome that you just can't look away. All of the controls are tight, the game runs well, that incredible soundtrack is back...

    I struggle to find anything to take issue with. After a decent learning curve, de-programming    Eternal is gold. It takes the best parts of 2016, amps all of it up, and tosses in various new mechanics resulting in a game that is so exhilarating, fast paced, and gruesome that you just can't look away. All of the controls are tight, the game runs well, that incredible soundtrack is back...

    I struggle to find anything to take issue with. After a decent learning curve, de-programming previous DOOM muscle memory and play styles, you get into such a flow of ripping and tearing. It's satisfying and thrilling.

    This is the best dang DOOM you are going to find. The combat whips ass, and so does everything else. The lore is enormously stupid but in the way that the liner notes to a prog metal album are enormously stupid, which is to say it fun and rules. If this game were a person I would marry them immediately.

    This is what a quality game is. This is without a doubt my favorite game. I've bought this game in its entirety 2 times and have played the campaign at least 5 times since its release. There is not a single thing i dislike about this game, it can present a real challenge at times.

    This game is a MUST have:
    1: Graphics are AMAZING I have never seen a more detailed, crisp and dark enviorment like this before.
    2: It´s optimised as hell I have a mid tier PC and this game runs at 1440p, max settings with constantly 144fps
    3: Story hella great
    4: Pacing: EXCELENT pacing, with intense battles and a great story
    5: Glory kills: Do I even have to say something?

    The first well thought out and complete Doom game. Runs great on entry tier/old hardware too.*
    Average 90 FPS with rx580 8GB and i5 4690K @ 4.5GHz all core with nightmare settings.

    This game is incredible, insane graphics, plenty on customization options to tailor to your play style, a gr8 soundtrack. I really cant say enough good things about this game.

    The murderous amok simulator returns and is even more furious than before. Fantastic presentation and great fighting system are harmed only by annoying platforming sequences. [Issue#302]

    If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

    Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
