    i played for what i thought was 20 minutes and it ended up being 3 hours so i think it is a pretty good game.

    At first I could not handle the chain gun + flamethrower + grenade + dash + supershotgun hook at the same time and quick weapon switching but this changed with some time. The arachnotron (spidey thing) was a challenge one of the first big enemies, 20 hours in and I crush it. Same thing with the maurauder as soon as you learn how to bait his vulnerability state/attack move he    Its Great,

His wolf will be no issue after your aim and timing is dialed in.

    I really enjoy the collectibles. You can get a suit upgrade which shows you the locations of them. This negates the need for a tedious Youtube Video or not if you can't solve the puzzle.

    The parkours are hard at first small deviations from the required movement lead to failure but latter your timing is right and you will swing like tarzan. These pakours also help later in combat. They learn you how to move correctly and how to don't miss a ledge.

    Best FPS shooter out there. Very little hand holding and harder difficulties are (for the most part) properly balanced. 10/10 would rip and tear again

    Verdade seja dita, é muito bonito tanto na jogabilidade (Liberdade de movimento, jogo bastante rápido) quanto no design gráfico (detalhes incríveis dos personagens / demônios, motor gráfico brutal ...) também uma história muito boa.

    This game has honestly saved my pandemic, i see other people constatnly complain about the lockdown, but having this game to play to theorise and to expect for has really saved it for me, 666666 recommmended you buy this, yesterday.

    Much better than 2016. I felt Doom 2016 was kind of mediocre and overrated. You could beat the game on hardest difficulty spamming supershotgun and it got very repetitive by the middle section. The levels got bland and samey. This game is massive improvement especially gameplay wise in every single way. The levels are great and varied. Combat is deeper, more tactical and allows for moreMuch better than 2016. I felt Doom 2016 was kind of mediocre and overrated. You could beat the game on hardest difficulty spamming supershotgun and it got very repetitive by the middle section. The levels got bland and samey. This game is massive improvement especially gameplay wise in every single way. The levels are great and varied. Combat is deeper, more tactical and allows for more varied playstyles which is 2016 contrary to the many morons who claim this game is restrictive.     A lot has already been said on why this game is masterpiece of an action game. This post is for new players and debunking the garbage negative reviews and lies on this site. I've never seen a game have such weak and poor takes against it like Doom Eternal.

    1. Hating on this game for having a more cartoony artstyle really? Doom was never a serious series until Doom 64 and Doom 3.     1. Hating on this game for having a more cartoony artstyle really? Doom was never a serious series until Doom 64 and Doom 3. The enemy designs and art style is paying homage to Doom 2 you stupid morons.

    2. Second is the muh low ammo. Yes in the start of the you have a low ammo count. The game is trying to teach you to be more cautious about burning ammo like a brain dead moron and is nudging you to basic weapon switching. The game also is guiding you to target weakpoints of enemies. None of this is mandatory its just the game teaching you this stuff in the start of the game hoping that you learn these lessons later in the game. You can still beat this game on Nightmare spamming 2 of the same guns later on but the start of the game really tries discourage players from doing that because that is objectively a boring stupid way to play. You can also brute weapon switch against enemies and never need to target weakpoints because of the insane damage output you can give to enemies. The game has very high skill gap which is a sign of very well designed combat system something you don't see in most games. Once you upgrade ammo, Praetor Suit points in Explosive Piñatas(get ammo from explosive barrels) and Thicker Skin(damage resistance from barrels) this game floods the player with ammo. So this complaint is obviously from people who never actually played much of this game. Also one Chainsaw pip will always regenerate and levels will always have ammo or fodder zombies around.

    3. The game forces me to play one way. This is a lie. This game actually has soo many different weapon mod combos and playstyles its actually crazy. Doom youtubers like Under the Mayo still is finding new weapon mod combos 1 year after the games launch.

    4. Muh platforming and puzzles. Doom 1 and Doom 2 had platforming and puzzles. Admittedly these games had simple forms of platforms and puzzles due to nature of them being not real 3D games. It wasn't until Quake 1 did id implement vertical platforming. John Cormack and John Romero would have 100% made a level like Nekravol if they had the tech to do it in the 90s. I also don't get it. So do you morons really think walking in a boring corridor for 5 mins is better than more complex jumping puzzles? The platforming is honestly really easy and breeze. The fact that there a people that struggled with it is sad. The purpose of it was to give players a break from the combat(which there is a lot of in this game), allow for more complex level design, and to sharpen the players air maneuverability skills for the large arenas in the game.    … Expand

    I didn't like Doom 2016 very much I thought people overhyped a pretty boring mediocre game. I got this game on sale expecting to not really like it but I am surprised to say this game is pretty amazing. It pretty much fixes my issues with 2016 being repetitive boring and mechanically brain dead. This game has very deep gameplay systems and skill curve. Enemies are very aggressive and II didn't like Doom 2016 very much I thought people overhyped a pretty boring mediocre game. I got this game on sale expecting to not really like it but I am surprised to say this game is pretty amazing.     Fantastic game. The art style and enemy designs are from Doom 2. Gameplay is more like Quake with jumping and moving fast. Very amazing game.

    First DOOM I've played, the gunplay in this game is nuts. To be expected, but still quite the experience.

    Mick Gordon did a stellar job as well with the music.

    Like DOOM 2016, but way better with more depth. It is also self-aware that it's a videogame and has graphic style more similar to original games. If you like FPS games, this is a must-have. Nothing groundbreaking, nothing new or gimmicky, just amazing gunplay and tons of demons to kill. DLC is fantastic and difficult. The negative reviews here are legit garbage borderline criminallyLike DOOM 2016, but way better with more depth. It is also self-aware that it's a videogame and has graphic style more similar to original games. If you like FPS games, this is a must-have.     Great action game with a very satisfying learning curve. It simply feels awesome to beat up demons you were struggling to survive against a few hours ago!

    If you like feeling like a complete and udder badass making demons cry at the mere mention of your name, then get this game. However, one thing i must add is even though the game offers a very good challenge on its hardest difficulty, once you beat it you are basically done with the game. Its a one and done type of game however offers a very good experience.

    This is a great game and i would suggest it to anyone, it is pretty violent but this is doom what do you expect. over all if you are into FPS games you should get this it is worth all of the money.

    If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

    Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
