Mar 3, 2021I've played Doom 2016 and now going into Doom Eternal I was excited and knew I was going to experience a masterpiece but wow this game is poetry. The ambience, the music of this game, the way the map is designed, the flow of combat, everything is just pure bliss to experience.

Mar 3, 2021Okay so the only problem is this is the first game I played that will give me a headache. Not because it's frustrating- but because it feels like I'm on a roller coaster. Except, instead of ups, downs & loops, it's constantly flying through the air, shooting meat off of Demons and ripping their bodies open.

Mar 3, 2021The game is intense, and one of the few that deserves a title "Action Packed". On easier difficulties, you can play at a more relaxed (playing Doom to relax?) pace, but when the difficulties are higher, it's on.

Mar 3, 2021I played and loved Doom 2016, and Eternal really is just 2016 pumped up a notch. Everything you enjoyed from 2016 is here, plus more weapons, more unlockables, longer maps, it's just better. Plus, it's also fine to player Doom 2016 even if you play Eternal first.

Mar 3, 2021The graphics are beautiful, the game runs so smooth despite being so fast-paced. The music is beautifully orchestrated with the events happening on scene. For sure, the game is a power trip, and it feels good.

Mar 3, 2021The story is fine and interesting, but you don't really play Doom for the lore. My only complaint is I actually don't like the multiplayer from Eternal, I prefer 2016's style. I may be in the minority there, but I would recommend this game for its single-player experience only. Its multiplayer is more of a cute knock-off, to me.

Mar 4, 2021ok take Doom 2016, give it steroids, make it ♥♥♥♥ a demon, wait for the demon to give birth, raise the child with a crapton of steroids, bully the child until it's at least 20 years of age, make it snap, give him a gun and a chainsaw, then send him to school while blasting pumped up kicks on a boombox duct-taped to his forehead. That's you in the game.

I think the brilliant gameplay coupled with outstanding graphics and innovative story makes it a clear legendary game. -

May 1, 2020If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

Apr 19, 2020Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
