    This is a real racer, and a really big racer developed by the reigning kings of the kind, Rainbow Studios, who worked closely with Pixar and all of the celebrity talent from the film...to create a companion game as high-performance as the movies it's based on. [July 2006, p.70]

    Although by no means perfect, Cars certainly raises the bar, and hopefully the public's expectations of what a video game tie-in should be. For this more than anything, Rainbow Studios should be applauded.

    It's kind of like a junior sandbox approach that younger gamers will enjoy because they can just trundle around without crashing or waiting for loads and older kids will love because it allows them to explore a large area and find characters and items that they'll recognize from the movie.

    If you attempt to unlock everything in this game you can expect it to last about 15 hours or so. The average gamer will probably get five to eight hours out of it before they've seen most of it and start to get bored. I would definitely recommend renting this for a weekend before committing to a purchase.

    The racing is by no means terrible, and will serve its purpose for those interested in a Cars video game, but had that aspect been nailed, the whole experience would have been elevated a notch or two.

    I first played it back in summer of 2021 and hands-down the best racing game based off from the movie itself, the characters, soundtrack andI first played it back in summer of 2021 and hands-down the best racing game based off from the movie itself, the characters, soundtrack and storymode is interesting as a Harry Potter series.

В оригинальном озвучивании принял участие весьCars — гоночная компьютерная игра с открытым миром, выпущенная в 2006 году для Windows. В оригинальном озвучивании принял участие весь закадровый актёрский состав, задействованный в мультфильме. Действие игры происходит сразу же по окончании сюжетной линии первого мультфильма «Тачки». Основана на одноимённом мультипликационном фильме «Тачки» студии Pixar.

    Перед прохождением решил освежить воспоминания, и пересмотрел одноименный мультфильм, и не зря, ибо действия игры разворачиваются в аккурат после событий мультфильма. В игре про гонки, думаю по умолчанию должны быть локации где можно поездить, скажем так тут типа открытый мир, ну или 3 больших локации, я наверно пол игры плохо ориентировался, ибо карты есть, но она как реальная, не показывается где ГГ)

    В игре примерно 31 миссия ( и 2 бонусных ) на заезды по 1-3 минуты, в основе по 3 круга, до конца не понимал как забрать молнии которые на 3-4 метра над грунтом находятся, и вообщем зачем они, потом в самом конце понял, за них мы открывает машины, раскраски и т.д. Я особо не собирал, но мне хватило на 50-75% от всего количество примерно.
    Хочется отдельно выделить понравившиеся мини-игры, за Шерифа разъезжать, просто дико зашло. Ну и сами гонки равномерно расписаны на протяжении всей игры, и последние Гран-при, сражение с главным оппонентом прям круть. ( там еще пит стоп есть, неплохо, я даже попробовал как в мультфильме без него, но не получилось, принудительно загнали )

    К сожалению несколько негативных аспектов имеются, как в тех плане так и в геймплейном. Есть пару заездов, где в принципе можно придти третьим ( чтобы открылось дальше миссии ) и успокоится, но хочется первым, и сидишь задрачиваешь, а бывает когда какая то машина из 60 годов или ржавая железяка гонит быстрее тебя, и еще так втопит аж бесит. И так называемые мини-игры половина из них нормальные, а есть прям откровенно неудобные такие как пугание тракторов, управление жесть.

    О технических неприятностях, отсутствует русский язык пришлось ставить отдельно. Вылетов не замечал, опять же отмечу управление в некоторых мини-играх. Одна интересная деталь, включил в настройках км, так как мили это буржуйское, в итоге все норм, после перепуска игры, приходится ставить заново, в итоге проездил с милями почти всю игру. И еще немного про управления, пришлось перенастраивать его под себя, ибо тут ваще накрутили не понять под кого, от людей - не для людей, ну или геймпады.    … Expand

    Apart from bieng a game for 2 year olds is full of bugs, the game playing is easy enough at least.
