If you are searching for something similar to Bible Black (BB) and find out that Discipline (D) was created in the same company Active Software, you expect twists, 10 different endings at least, and great pictures.
Unfortunately, it seems that administration of Active summoned the creative group back to work in the middle of vacation, so they decided to work slipshod.
a) If you've played BB, you remember stupid buttons where you choose the obvious options. However, when it comes to the end, you can see that there was meaningful choice and you start looking for alternatives to change the outcome.
D gives 1-4 options, but there is no choice, as every action leads only to 5 endings. Most of the time you will see 2 options, but one of them will be just to steal your time, leading to the otheroption eventually
B) characters are limited and rigid. If 1 girl f-ks you several days in a row will stop right after just because. A person who makes money selling XXX suddenly forgets about his obsession. Which means plot wasn't edited correctly. There are also a lot of bots, who appear just to introduce their names or show how outrageous and indestructable the main villain is
C) characters are all 'doomed', as the main villain can buy whatever and whoever against you, she can bring people to death, kidnap, torture and surgically operate them. Every 'student' is aware of that, yet they are shocked when they become her prey. Wake up, you've studied here for 2,5 years here!
D) too much repulsive stuff. I didn't like BB for Takashiro torture, but that's nothing compared to D. Inconsistent sex, impregnation and overexaggerated boobs, to say nothing about number one and number two. You, as the main male character will have an opportunity to suck a dick, lick your own semen off different placees, have your **** pushed by several people.
E) controls are the same for 2 games, but endings are better developed and comprehensible in BB, as they have the name, proper picture followup, whereas in D you will shortly see 'End#' and then return to main menu. Also, BB has bad ends, ends and 1 true end, it took me a while going through all endings until I got to the true end, and later I knew that true end is only available after you go through 3 other ends. D doesn't bear such features
F) it seems, D is more popular as OVA (whose plot is different from the game), so Wiki and other sources focus on it. though the plots seem different (e.g. the main character doesn't have superpowers)
So, is game worthwhile? If you played BB and you liked it, do not even think about D.
OK, there's no black magic stuff, the pictures are better and closer to 3D imagery (no-more paper painted-liked images).
But you will regret in the same way as me… Expand
