You could say that Digimon World: Next Order is an exciting game that challenges us to be able to raise our Digimon efficiently and reach new goals in its evolution, but it is not the best entry for a player oblivious to the Franchise of Digital Monsters.

For everything Digimon World: Next Order offers, there is something better. If you want monster-taming, Pokemon and Monster Rancher are right there. If you want specifically Digimon, Cyber Sleuth and Survive are more than enough to have your fill. If you want anything other than wonky pacing, shallow combat, and frequently cringeworthy writing, Next Order probably isn’t for you.

A brilliant, fun and addictive game. If you like Digimon and you are up for a different and innovative adventure, you are gonna love it. It isA brilliant, fun and addictive game. If you like Digimon and you are up for a different and innovative adventure, you are gonna love it. It is easier as you invest more time on it. The battles are exciting and you can give plenty of orders to your digimon (attacks, defense, DNA evolution, combined combos, items, etc). The vpet part is lovely and makes the experience more realistic compared to a classic JRPG. The music is stunning. Once you give it some time, this game will install in your heart and never go away. One of the worst Digimon games out there, they shouldn't have remastered it.

Coming from Cyber Sleuth, coming back to this game is very disappointing, it's broken in every aspect and the pinnacle of mediocrity.
