    Terrible company that bans you for finding out their bugs. Like people are constantly exploiting with dungeon resets, gold, boosting, etc. And you guys have the audacity to ban your players when you should be punishing your @@#tty quality assurance team. Literally losing hundreds of hours and $$$ on a game cause one day you guys think we are so called "exploiting" when its a clear bug inTerrible company that bans you for finding out their bugs.     Long time fan of the series, absolutely dissapointed. All "additions" to this game fail to relate into meaningful content. Expected content missing (rune/runewords, set items, actually unique uniques), all the things that make Diablo, Diablo.

    I have been a gamer for most of my life. In fact, 1 year away from 20 years playing video games. This is the only game I have ever played in my entire life where I fell asleep midgame. I am being beyond serious. I have played numerous ARPGs before, including Diablo, yet Diablo 4 makes me jolt awake when I die because my brain has picked up the sound changes. Terrible game.

    They want to instruct you on how to play the game, and you are not permitted to play it in your own style.
    They alter the game content according to their imagination without any testing
    They are unable to resolve the major bugs.

    No I am not your Alpha tester. The only good thing about this game is the cinematics. They could've easily make it a great game by implementing the Diablo 3 RoS systems, but instead made it a laggy boring time sink mess.

    Fun for as long as the campaign lasted, end game is atrocious, gear progression atrocious, dungeons stale, and build variety lacking. You'd think with all their time on a series they'd figure out a few things. Just go play Path. You will find its a little harder to grasp at entry, but pays off sooooo big at endgame.

    Loved Diablo 2 and 3, sunk years into both but Diablo 4 is trash. Endgame is terrible, skill tree is only good while learning then when you want to change builds you sit there for half an hour moving every little talent around. The loot is terrible, theres a million different modifiers on everything, legendaries are boring, they drop too often and are underpowered. Buff legendaries andLoved Diablo 2 and 3, sunk years into both but Diablo 4 is trash.     Dog **** end game. Open world game build around farming nm dungeons because its the only worthwhile end game content tk complete.... Open world game where you hardly ever encounter other players. Lack luster itemization. Lack of qol is insane. Last Epoch has 1000x the amount of qol and the resources and size of that team is much smaller than d4. Dog**** game

    As a long time fan of the series and a pre-order purchaser this game has been such a let down. The initial campaign was pretty fun but when you get into the late game activities, it feels terrible. There is little to do and what is available feels so needlessly repetitive and I'm all about a grinder but this grind just isn't fun. Final straw for me is when I see instead of planning a meaningful expansion they're just intending to release yearly expansions. There are still so many mechanics broken in the base game! The state of how the game was released and how poorly they're getting things fixed up I have no faith the yearly expansions will bring any real improvement, and most likely will turn it into a bigger more difficult to re-enter mess. I was ready to spend extra money on the game down the road too even if it was cosmetic if they showed they could get the game in order. However, Blizzard has made it clear this is purely about money and not about providing the type of gaming experience that earned them the status in the industry they once had. They got my money for nostalgia's sake this time but won't get another cent out of me unless they can return to what got them this far, but I'm not hopeful I went ahead and uninstalled the game today as I realized I haven't played in weeks now and the game was just taking up space on my drive.… Expand

    Unacceptable. You had all the knowledge of previous Diablos plus all the knowledge from every other arpg for the last 10 years and THIS is what we got?? It's insulting and watching the newest dev playthrough on the official youtube channel tells us everything. Devs just spamming basic attacks with full resource, dying on WT1 in a normal dungeon.....

    I have been using metacritic for like 10 years. I never EVER found it necessary to create an account to rate a game until now. **** blizzard, **** bobby kotick, MS made a huge mistake buying this company. Blizzard is a husk of what it once was. Diablo 4 came out and was amazing. But they found out how to completely destroy it.. gg

    The developers have made not a bad storyline, after which there is absolutely nothing to do in the game. If you release a game that has nothing to do after 15 hours, why such a high price? Why sell a bunch of cosmetic items and battle passes? You spent a lot of money on marketing, songs hitting Eilish, popular streamers, to advertise a dummy. Where is the multiplayer content you promised?The developers have made not a bad storyline, after which there is absolutely nothing to do in the game.     This game tricked everyone. Make the early game amazing, pay off Critic Reviews. Doesn't hide the fact its a garbage game from a selfish company. People spend more time messing with lack of inventory space than playing.

    Blizzard should be ashamed but unfortunately I don't think a corporate board of directors feels emotions. Stay clear, this game was made with insidious intent and does not want you to have fun.

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
