    The fact that they have promised that they will respect the players and make a game for everyone to enjoy is sickening. The amount of monetization is ridiculous and the player power you get with just spending money.

    DON'T YOU GUYS HAVE TRUST FUNDS?? Because you're going to need one to get anything done in this game. People have done the math, it literally costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to max gear one single character. I wish I was joking. P2W garbage, Wyatt should be fired and never allowed to hold a job in the gaming industry ever again. Not even a custodial position.

    Blizzard is dead and gone, the name no longer deserves the loyalty it had. What an incredible few years of disappointment and sadness. Complete joke - avoid unless you want to get milked dry.

    Just badly done. Alone that you have to grind out your level and have no connection to the main story. The pay to win module is very expensive and the game is hardly worth it.

Instead of spending time on making great games which consider this they were the best in the world at, at one point, they are spending time and money and resources on how to trick their audience into spending money on a game they copied of themselves. So sad all I can say...

    Yeah... Blizzard knows why I'm rating this a zero. If they don't understand why that is at this point, then there is no hope for them. I'm late to the party and better people have already explained the situation pretty clearly.

The so called "professional" reviewers must be being paid off by Blizzard or something. They couldn't or wouldn't see how bad the monetisation is. Its just madness. I have played this, got to level 53 and its was like hitting a massive brick wall.     I really gave this game a chance, but eventually you come to a point were you can't progress unless paying a huge amount of money. This is the worst monetization I have ever experienced in a game that I have played, this is true evil at it's core.     I recommend starting the game a few hours before 2am UK time to level up and after the 2nd level block you would reset, do daily stuff, level up and prob finish the game by next night. The only challenge is the last boss and that's only cause your brain is so numb by now from other fights. Finish the game and delete app. The best Diablo Immortal experience.

    Worst diablo ever. They took diablo 3, they changed the name to Immortal, and its engine, and they launched a terrible title. I hope for the best in diablo 4 and to launch it as soon as possible, to correct their disgraceful mistake.

    so i spend some money and it became glaringly obvious how broken this game is once you can pvp and then scaling pay 2 win boxes of 17+ types of currencies start to become available while the content is just loops of old diablo nostalgia. they couldnt have tried less

    A game so predatory, Blizzard didn't even release it in regions with stricter gambling restrictions, like the Netherlands and Belgium, where they would have to publish the loot box drop rates.

    Clearly made as a crash grab and nothing more. There's actually 3 different crests, not 2. There's the "Legendary Crest" and the "Eternal Legendary Crest". It's a subtle different, but the normal "Legendary Crests" that you get in the pass and whatnot gives you BOUND gems, aka you can't trade them. This has been going on for way too long and I'm glad that Blizzard decided to do something so egregious that it will now be on the forefront and hopefully action will come from this. I created this Metacritic account just to write this. Thank you for producing a game that offers no opportunity for entertainment for those who want to play a game that is competitive in nature, but don't have thousands of dollars to be competitive... thousands of dollars, no skills, dollars. Those who really want to put forth the time to try and keep up the whales will be stuck behind paywalls and throttling set up by the developer to punish anyone whose only options are due to monetary status is to try to keep up by playing but even that isn't an option.     Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
