    Shame bcos core gameplay loop is decent for a mobile game. But greed ruined that.

    Horrible game, and the "professional" reviewers who wrote positively about it are either hacks or shills. This game deserves an award for most predatory microtransactions to exist *Ever*. This tops genshin impact, this tops fate grand order. It's so ridiculously pay to win, its not even funny. It has the absolute worst rates I've seen, a subscription system, two battle passes, a gachaHorrible game, and the "professional" reviewers who wrote positively about it are either hacks or shills. This game deserves an award for most predatory microtransactions to exist *Ever*. This tops genshin impact, this tops fate grand order. It's so ridiculously pay to win, its not even funny. It has the absolute worst rates I've seen, a subscription system, two battle passes, a gacha system, a real money auction house except this time you can't even redeem money out of the system, and so much more. the game is average at best without the microtransactions, and with it, it genuinely deserves to go down as one of if not the absolute worst game of all time.… Expand

In theory, this could be a cool foundation for a mobile game, but it gets dull very quickly. In the beginning you get rewarded with levelups often enough, but at around level 35 itThis product is essentially a dumbed down version of Diablo 3, turned into a slot machine. If you ever played Diablo 3, you will know exactly what to do in immortal, just with far less variety in your spells. In theory, this could be a cool foundation for a mobile game, but it gets dull very quickly. In the beginning you get rewarded with levelups often enough, but at around level 35 it gets very grindy. While grinding might be ok on a PC, it certainly isnt on a mobile device.

    And now imagine that in D3 you had a way of improving your droprate in greater rifts significantly (!!!) by throwing money at the game. Wouldn't that take even the last bit of fun out of it? Diablo Immortal leaves no chance untouched at trying to get you to pay. Watch all the videos about it, it is infuriatingly bad. I feel very bad for the actual developers of this game, because they certainly tried. But the decisions of the Activision Blizzard management people make it very clear that this is not a game or an entertainment product, but one huge milking machine. Don't mistake this for a Diablo game, that's just the label they use.    … Expand

    I reached LV 30 easily and hit a brick wall. Struggled to reach lv 50, the same boring repetitiveness, and attempts to sell me whatever is possible.

    The single most predatory game monetization I have ever seen. This game is a stain on the industry, a stain on the Diablo franchise, and a stain on the legacy of a formerly great game studio. Sadly, it's also going to make them a **** of money because people are braindead sheep.

    Yet another great game from Blizzard Harassment Company. Pay-to-win doesn't even begin to describe the absolute cash grabbing scheme this "game" is. Every single trick is used to rob you of your money. So please don't buy this garbage.

    Finished the game in 4-5 days of not that intense gaming. The game it self is not that bad until you reach Lvl walls and it persuades you to pour in money.... Total letdown... back to D3 and D2

    Before 30 LvL your main enemy is Skarn and interface, after - microtransactions.

It feels like the very same cultists were in charge of Diablo Immortal: it has superficial resemblance to the real thing, but it lacks any real substance. [Issue#260, p.36]

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
