May 15, 2012Nothing says evil like a Witch Doctor shooting toads, complete **** on the series. What happened to Diablo? A free game called Path of Exile does a better job at capturing the series.

May 15, 2012Graphics are an absolute shamble. Truly terrible game. Would not buy, pirate or even try.
Please avoid this like the plague. I seriously hope you guys don't touch this game. -

May 15, 2012Not a worthy sequel... Dumbed down to the point its not a Diablo game anymore. There only things this game have in common with the other games, is the story and title.

May 15, 2012UNPLAYABLE OUT OF THE BOX. GG BLIZZARD!
Horrific implementation of a game. Cannot play for more than 5-10 minutes at a time before getting booted and having to relog. IN SINGLE PLAYER. Not worth the 60 bucks save your money until the game is working. Poor show blizzard. -
May 15, 2012No spoilers, I just wonder if it makes any sense to develop a game fo N years to get an outdated glitchy (fundamentally single player) game that only plays online after autentication on servers that do not work. All this for only 60 EUR ... increase the clusters or give the money back ...

May 15, 2012They took everything i hated about WOW and put it in Diablo. Then they took everything i loved about Diablo. Character customization gone, item collection gone, fun gone

May 15, 2012Pre-Ordered just to sit through repeated denials of login, game errors, and general letdown.
Aww, Bliz. You got me again. I should have known better. -
May 15, 2012I am Blizzard's complete and utter incompetence. I am many closed betas, an open beta, and a stress test that all amounted to nothing. I am the customer's disappointment, frustration, and wasted time. I am the reason why every single person who purchased Diablo 3 should be able to attain a refund if they so please.
-
May 15, 2012Amazon's highest ever level of pre-orders for a game
Singleplayer game
DRM : force players to be logged onto their servers full time "to prevent piracy" - translation = to force you onto their items for real cash auction as sponsored by Chinese gold sellers.
result: not enough servers available to log on to play game
consequence: this crap score & massive loss of respect -
May 15, 2012Got to play it a bit earlier today, but completely fails now. The fact that they don't bother to prepare for this launch is disturbing and shows complete lack of respect for their customers.
-
May 15, 2012They promised I could play on release... Now 24 hours laters still unable to login or play anything what so ever.
Beta had problems and they did not learn a damn thing. -
May 15, 2012So Blizzard makes us wait for 10+ years charges a hefty sum and then puts **** DRM? How can a game this size can fail on launch day. This is not a MMORPG, so I shouldn't be bothered with all this "server is too busy" errors and actually be able to play the game. I respected the devs and paid for the game; in return I expect the same treatment and not this. Returning the game. End of diablo 3.

May 15, 2012Man, I can log into the game. First I could then I couldnt and then I could again and now its down so long it aint funny! They knew what was going to happen and still they blame us paying customers for their crap!
-
May 15, 2012Been working on it at least 4 years, did alpha, then beta tests, then open beta stress test ...
spent tons of money on the commercials ... and this is what they achieved ! This is what we get for that extra huge price ! Gj Blizzard ! You should be proud ! -

May 15, 2012Not good after 2 and half years wainting... its becaming really anoying not being able to play the game... but how cares they already made 80% of the money, that they will ever made with this game, just in 24 unplayeble hours (for most people).
-
May 15, 2012Aweful game, dont buy ! They get a 1 for anticipation i had in regarding the release but a 0 for the actual release. Cant even play the game !! Be warned
-
May 15, 2012Absolutely unnacceptable...they had stress tests....they had the open weekend beta...they had FEEDBACK!!! And it seems they didn't do anything, they saw the problem and they just took the money. Blizzard is all about the money and not the fans...alt that talk about "they care about the fans" is alot of BULL**** ...how about all EU players just file a lawsuit against them ?
-
May 15, 2012This isn't a game. It's a login screen with nice music. I'm sure there is a pretty good game behind that login screen. It's just too bad that I'll never see it because of the draconian DRM.
-
May 15, 2012Wank poor performance by Blizzard/Activision. Force us to be always be connected to their servers to combat, "Piracy", but fail to have enough servers to cope. I guess they all ready have our money, so they win and we lose. Should not be allowed.
-
May 15, 2012Seriously. If I am content with playing single player. How hard can it be to let me access some data files offline and then let me synch when bandwidth is available? I use Dropbox for this every day.. get at grip!

May 15, 2012Joke, can't log in. They insultingly release the installer 2 months before release, and then don't even let us log in after waiting 2 months.
The graphics are like... warcraft 3 graphics.

Aug 31, 2012My one major complaint is that the game never feels very difficult, especially on Normal. There are frustrating moments, hordes of baddies, and increasing difficulty levels, but the same feeling of utter defeat never really happens as it did in the past.
-
Hyper MagazineJul 18, 2012For all the game's missteps, though, you certainly can't accuse Blizzard of phoning it in - if anything, the game suffers from the tendency to try a little to hard at times to evolve the design. [Aug 2012, p.61]
-
Jul 3, 2012When it works, Diablo III is the best of the Diablo games. When it doesn't, all it does is make you mad. [July 2012, p.54]
