    Desta: The Memories Between is a perfect example of Ustwo Games' flare for poignant storytelling and inventive gameplay.

    Desta: The Memories Between provides a difficult narrative filled with grief and regret. However, through its meditative, albeit unintuitive gameplay, it provides a safe and reflective journey into Desta’s heart. An experience that may have the player remembering back on their own life and relationships. With this relatable and emotionally driven narrative, the game provides a safe space for the player to examine themselves and all it asks is to throw a ball. This all makes Desta: The Memories Between stand out as a great game and an incredible exploration of healing.

    With a bit more time and effort, this could have been a decent game. Unfortunately, a lacklustre story, poor graphics and a very unrelatableWith a bit more time and effort, this could have been a decent game. Unfortunately, a lacklustre story, poor graphics and a very unrelatable main character make this one for the bargain bin. The gameplay is ok but becomes repetitive after a few hours. There is a bit of social politics involved so be prepared for that. The sound/music is decent but still lacks variety. All in all, there are many similar titles out there that are much better in terms of story, graphics, gameplay and production values.… Expand
