Mar 6, 2016Full of atmosphere, funny and like LucasArts. Part 4 of the trilogy (!) stays true to its predecessors and that's how it should be. Please don't stop!
-
Mar 4, 2016Quotation forthcoming.
-
Mar 29, 2016A typical Deponia with a lot of black humor, crazy characters and the narcissistic and clumsy Rufus we all love. The adventure stays true to the series in all aspects.
-
Mar 4, 2016Deponia Doomsday contains one of the greatest opening scenes we've ever seen in a Point 'n Click/Adventure game, featuring none other than David Hayter. It's a must-play if you enjoyed classics such as The Curse of Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle.
-
Mar 3, 2016An excellent point and click adventure, filled with humour and banter about time travel, with the same care in the production we loved in the previous episodes.
-
Mar 2, 2016Surprisingly Deponia Doomsday is the most interesting and complex installment in the series. This is a well written sequel with very pretty levels, great soundtrack and some really demanding puzzles. The entire game is very funny as well and looks like a an expertly crafted piece of code. Must-have for point & click fans.
-
Mar 20, 2016I like the fact that Rufus returned to terrorize his environment. This destructive journey is a wild ride spiced up with time tiers. Classic point & click doesn’t get much better.
-
Apr 24, 2016Overall, Deponia Doomsday is an expertly-crafted point and click that holds itself to pretty high standards.
-
LEVEL (Czech Republic)Apr 12, 2016Some new features in the game are not very successful, but in the core Deponia Doomsday is still as good as the previous trilogy, which we liked so much. [Issue#262]
-
Apr 6, 2016A must-play for fans of the Deponia series and adventure game fans in general. The latest in the Deponia series is as witty and gorgeous as its predecessors, but just on the verge of stretching the series too thin.
-
Mar 13, 2016Series fans will definitely want to catch a ride on the Rufus Time Travel Express, as the countdown to disaster in Deponia Doomsday packs a grin-inducing, mind-boggling, oft-repeated wallop.
-
Mar 4, 2016A great chapter, one that the fans shouldn't miss.
-
Apr 21, 2016Rufus’ adventures come back again in a new chapter of the Deponia saga where we travel to an alternative world, ruled by dreams and time travel, but with the classic essence of Deponia. However, the temporal leaps can sometimes be boring because we always reappear in the same spot.
-
Mar 15, 2016I can’t give Deponia Doomsday an unequivocal recommendation. Its protagonist is a major drag and a lot of its humor is straight-up lame. But by the same token, I can’t deny that it drew me in and made me care by the end. It’s a totally solid adventure game, and if you prefer a little extra bite in your old-school adventures, then it will be right up your alley.

Mar 3, 2016Clearly the Deponia series is loved by enough people for them to keep making more of them, so I’m sure this will be as gleefully received as the rest. But it’s a nasty, stupid, and most damningly of all, badly constructed adventure game. The animations and art are lovely as ever, the music’s great, most of the voice actors are decent enough, but good grief, please, no more. Just make it stop.
