However, the largest issue plaguing this game is the lack of players wanting to play as a Killer. The Killer is the one that hosts the match since this game uses the Peer-to-peer multiplayer formula, so as I said, matches are scarce.

    Another issue is some Killers feel they must camp in order to score enough points to rank up. This not only prevents any rescue to come save a hooked survivor, but usually results in a dulled gameplay experience for both the hooked survivor and the Killer.

    If the Devs would start grinding away at fixing the short comings of this game, it would benefit so much more. Despite the issues, by yourself or with others, this game is definitely worth the $17 I paid. I am logging over 140 hours and still climbing.    … Expand

    It has a horrifying environment. I feel the stress of having the killer chase me through a junkyard. The game may have it's issues with Killer camping Hooks and Survivors abusing Window Jumping but besides that it's a really fun game.

    Dead by Daylight is not a horrible game, but the glitches at launch were terrible. Teleporting into walls, aimlessly floating around in a strange position when caught in traps, and bad texture pop-in. However, the rest of the game is not horrible, it is playable, and mostly enjoyable. And most of the glitches got patched by the developers.

    Dead by Daylight presents its uncommon multiplayer survival genre with a touch of thrill and horror. A lot of potential in this game and they are making use of some of that, but honestly, I feel like the game still falls short of great having a below expectation amount of content and surprisingly unimpressive visuals, despite Unreal Engine 4.

    This game is awesome. Brings old school horror back to life. But the optimization could have been better that nothing. There is no optimization AT ALL. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous

    I believe the game overall is ok for killing some time, but i also think the game needs more features. Besides escaping from the serial killer maybe there could be another mechanic in the game that players can work together to achieve a different kind of victory by killing the serial killer in different ways on different levels.     Hope they add more stuff to the game, to make it better
    just they really need to fix a lot of the bugs in the game and add a lot game modes like survival mode or 24 humans vs 4 killers (I mean working with each other and trying to kill the humans would a good mode and if they do add more killers than they should add more humans and more killers) and remove some the perks    Great game!

    Anyway hope they make a huge update soon that can make this game even better.

    Что сказать про dbd. Это выживалка главной целью которой надо убежать от маньяка, а за маньяка надо всех убить. Чтобы сбежать надо чинить генераторы, всего их 5. Процесс очень долгий поэтому можно в 4 чинить, но вам будет мешать еще маньяк и вам придеться как то убегать от него. Маньяк быстрее вас поэтому надо умудриться от него убежать, это очень трудно.     This game is by far one of my favorites but needs a lot of work. All the goals the game is intended to hit are missed by a long shot. A lot of times the game feels way to unbalanced, and too inconsistent. Glitches and bugs happen ever so often. But the least to say, the game gives a great experience. If the Dev's were to work on this game a little more and fix ranking and playing system,This game is by far one of my favorites but needs a lot of work.     Es un juego con una gran idea que resulta ser divertido cuando empiezas a jugar. Pero una vez subes de nivel se siente desbalanceado. Las partidas se demoran mucho en empezar y esperar 5 minutos para empezar a jugar una partida de 10 minutos es desgastante y aburrido.

    The game has its issues. Balance, bugs, hacks (albeit quite uncommon), all the rough stuff.
    However, it's genuinely a fun game. The issue with it is that it's difficult to pick up because of the way people play, but for the most part you'll have to give it a shot to enjoy it. The killer's goal is to eliminate all four survivors before they complete all the generators and escape, by hooking the survivors. The survivor's goal, is, well, I already stated it, lol.
    Games are always different, making it unpredictable due to the large variety of killers we have this year. We have a bunch of licenses, from Halloween to Silent Hill, and this year, we got Resident Evil in the game.
    I recommend you to give it a shot. Don't let the 234 negative reviews fool you, they're just people that had 1 bad game and are in desperate need to vent.    … Expand

    I spent more than 1k hours on DBD and can surely say this game is worth the price, but it's still a lot of problems. Very often dev team instead of fixing existing issues going to create new. This disappoints almost every patch, but it seems like from the last of them, game gain almost the top performance from the birthday.

    The game is a bit like gambling because you have no idea what you'll get in each match, making it addictive. They don't really double down on the chaos party game aspect, instead, the mentality of winning at all costs is rewarded. So the odds are that your game will be against the strongest perks and addons rather than the funniest meme builds and that is a shame.     It encapsulates the vibe from 80's horror movies perfectly. The ambient is spooky with very dark tones and splatters of blood everywhere, the audio effects add to this and get your heart racing when you're trying to get away from the killer or hear a scream from across the map.
    Unfortunately this very unique concept was destroyed by technical errors that keep people from fully enjoying    It encapsulates the vibe from 80's horror movies perfectly.     Unfortunately this very unique concept was destroyed by technical errors that keep people from fully enjoying the experience and the visual bugs take away from the immersion.
    I'd still reccomend to try it out for yourself as it's still a good game with a lot of nice DLC's, but leaves you wondering "what could've been".    … Expand

    Dead By Daylight is not the game for everyone. Although I personally think the game is great. Whether you're trying to survive the killers wraith or simply messing around it's fun either way. The game can get repetitive and I take breaks from it every once in awhile but overall I thinks it's a fun game. Every characters perks are different and never feel like a copy paste but it's slightly altered (At least in my experience) Playing killer or survivor is fun for me. However both of them are difficulty when you're starting out. And even if you're experienced the game may feel difficulty at times. And lastly for me the game rarely feels scary because of how much everyone messes around. So if you're looking for a horrifying game it may not be exactly what you imagined.… Expand

    Handlung:
    In Dead by Daylight spielt man entweder die Überlebenden oder den Jäger. Als Überlebender hat man die Aufgabe Generatoren zu reparieren um dem Jäger und seinen Fallen zu Entkommen.
    Spielt man den Jäger(viele bekannte Horrorcharaktere aus diversen Horrorfilme und Spiele) hat man die Aufgabe die Überlebenden zu finden und zu töten. Diverse Perks ändern das Spiel Runde für Runde.

    Gameplay(Maus und Tastatur):
    Das Gameplay läuft ohne Probleme und erklärt sich von selbst. Die Aufgaben sind immer die gleichen, jedoch gleichen die Vielfältigen Maps das wieder aus. Während man die Generatoren repariert bzw. Seine Mitspieler versucht zu heilen, muss man Skillchecks absolvieren. Vor jeder Runde kann man seine Perks an einem Skillbaum verbessern und diverse Items erhalten, die man sich mit in die Runde holen kann. Zum Beispiel ein Werkzeug- oder Erste-Hilfe-Kasten. Bugs sind mir noch keine aufgefallen, sodass man keine Probleme während des Spielens hat.

    Sound:
    Der Sound passt zum Spiel und vermittelt eine düstere und Horrorartige Stimmung. Die Geräusche der Generatoren, Items und Umgebungen passen sich sehr gut an.

    Grafik:
    Die Grafik passt zu einem Spiel von 2016. Die Umgebung, Animationen und Charaktere passen zusammen und stechen nicht einzeln heraus.

    Fazit:
    Ein schönes Multiplayer Horrorspiel für zwischendurch. Viele vielfältige Perks, Items und Charaktere machen jede Runde einzigartig. Soundtracks und die Düstere Grafik machen das Spiel noch besser. Updates und neue Charaktere tauchen regelmäßig auf. Wer genug Zeit mitbringt kann gerne einen 100% Run bestreiten.    … Expand

    Man bleibt ab dem letzten Update nach der Runde endlich zusammen in einer Lobby!
    Die Statistiken am Ende werden nicht mehr von vorne gezeigt, wenn sie schon fast durchgelaufen sind, nur weil der Host die Lobby verlässt, genial!
    Dont hate the game, hate the player, drecks Hookcamper...

    It's not a bad game, but that does not mean it is not bad game. I won't be the first or last to admit that this game broke me. It's unbalanced most times and there is definitely a concurrent problem with those who camp and or tunnel. You also have to work extremely hard or pay your way to any killers and or survivors you want to play as, and even then survivors are pretty much glorifiedIt's not a bad game, but that does not mean it is not bad game. I won't be the first or last to admit that this game broke me. It's unbalanced most times and there is definitely a concurrent problem with those who camp and or tunnel. You also have to work extremely hard or pay your way to any killers and or survivors you want to play as, and even then survivors are pretty much glorified skins.     However as of the latest patch the game is still heavily survivors favored. Survivors can abuse and ignore killer's perk Hex Ruined which slow down gens. all they have to do is spam M1 and completely made the perk useless. There are also loops in places where u can loop the killer for around    its a solid game. the game used to be riddled with infinites that completely ruined the game.

    There are also loops in places where u can loop the killer for around 3-5 minutes before they get full bloodlust to get you, which in those times 3-4 gens is already done. and if they had decisive the game is gg.

    they completely made trapper useless by not giving traps under hook, Hag is the worst killer in game. Nurse remains the best simply because she is the only killer that can deal with infinite loops. Unbalanced addons, some killers gets completely useless addons like the hag.

    Survivors flashlight are also insanely strong, combined with 4 SWF. BNP changes is nice but u dont need it when u have gen tapping vs Ruined. and double pellets in the same places are just plain bad. there should only be 1 pellet, which is way enough to buy time to waste the killers time. survivors are not scared in this game. u are encouraged to taunt/ bold actions which grants u more points

    the devs will never understand why the game is like this until they reach Rank 1 survivor and killer.

    There is a wealth of problems that Behaviour Interactive does not even bother to hide in Dead by Daylight, but the pure thrills of its gameplay can mostly compensate for all the troubles.

    I actually have about 4k hours in this game but god knows why. this is litterally the most imbalanced pvp in existence, it is so survivor sided you can litterally win by holding down one button on survivor.

    And don't even get me stared on the fact that SWF is in the games and you are allowed comms when the game is already stupid easy as a solo survivor.
    Honestly I would advise against this game as a killer player, but if you want to squad up be on comms and bully another person then grief the killer player when they don't follow your made up rules then this game is for you.    … Expand

    Dead by Daylight is a missed opportunity. Despite an intriguing concept, the final result is flawed by a lot of small problems. You could still enjoy it, but in order to do so you should get over a terrible netcode, a grind-based progression system, and all too random rewards.

    Disastrous scoring system encourages some players to cooperate with the killer instead of running from him and reduces promising gameplay to nonsense (e.g. when the killer picks you up, throws you into a trap, resets it, picks you up, throws you into a trap, resets it, picks you up, throws you into a trap, resets it, picks you up...).
