    Well this game was always quite overrated... Back in the day it was already kinda meh, but 15€ for a game that was released on 1993? Just because of a poor lazy remaster? This is definetely not worth it, the puzzles are not intuitive at all, you know it's ok if the puzzles are hard, but they have to make sense, and they do not make sense in this game.     Some games do not deserve remasters and this is a great example. Just, it doesn't work on consoles. The controls are horrid and gameplay is slow and boring.

    Простая история, пару забавных моментов за всю игру, множество нелогичных задачек с раздражающим перебором инвентаря (три управляемых персонажа, между которыми нужно передавать предметы) и одно место действия. Представили уровень бэктрекинга? А теперь еще представьте арт в духе укуренного никелодиона. Культовость этого квеста очень сомнительна.Простая история, пару забавных моментов за всю игру, множество нелогичных задачек с раздражающим перебором инвентаря (три управляемых персонажа, между которыми нужно передавать предметы) и одно место действия.     After 23 years Day of the Tentacle is still so much more than a curious archeological find. It’s an important chapter of genre’s constitution, still reminding us how point’n’clicks should be done. [06/2016, p.42]

    It must’ve been very tempting to fix some quirks of the original, to make a legendary game a bit better. And maybe add something that had been planned back then, but wasn’t finished in time, or perhaps brush up the dialogues. Luckily, team behind Special Edition avoided all these temptations and delivered a game that’s 99.99% faithful to the original (the only joke that got removed is “Fony” logo on a TV) [Issue#209, p.66]
