    This is insulting. Dark Souls ''Remastered'' it's just a really expesive patch for the original game.

    My favorite game of all time... but this remaster its a completely joke. Besides that, they remove the original prepare to die for sale, demanding to buy a game from 2010 with a minor patch (that they entitled REMASTER) for a ridcously high price. Why instead of doing this **** you guys dont make a remaster for demons souls, putting the game in all plataforms with high resolutions? NeverMy favorite game of all time... but this remaster its a completely joke.     I'd never thought I'd ever give a game a '0' score. And never had I thought it would be one of my favourite games, Dark Souls. But it is just what this game is. It's nothing. It's a few UI changes, a few texture updates, but ALL the bugs are still there. Almost everything is the same. It's basically a 6-year delayed path, for the ludicrous price of €40.-

    They did not fix not even one of the bugs that ruin this game and the framerate is tied to the game speed, plus they changed the online estus mechanics, so don't say "is just a remastered, they can't change the gameplay" when they actually did.

    Probably the most overrated video game of all time.

    The graphics are a joke. There is no music. The gameplay is repetitive, stupid and boring. The customization changes absolutely nothing about the character other than the fact a class can shoot a fireball and the others can't. I can't say much about the story other than the fact I couldn't care less about it. I can't believe    Probably the most overrated video game of all time.

    They didn't remaster s***. Then forced everyone off the old game. They also ruined the chances of us ever getting a proper remaster of THE GREATEST GAME EVER MADE. The original is a masterpiece but had technical and graphical issues that stemmed from a low budget and the fact that it was made 10 years ago, none of which were touched in this.

    i'll be very short: imagine paying to play a Dark Souls I patch, when the only notable differences between the old and the 'remastered' version is the bonfire fire and now there's portuguese subtitles. And the old bugs still there.

    The original dark souls was a really good and well designed game with good level design and fitting difficiulty. Here they lazily decided to only do a remaster even though a remake couls have been very fitting for some of the games big flaws like the really buggy backstabbing mechanic that ruins a lot of the mutiplayer.     Even though they did some of this they also kept and created many bugs while changing the healing system in multiplayer but not changing some of the most obvious gamebreaking bugs..
    The base game is still good but as a remaster this dramatically failed and limited many modding options that already fixed many issues in the pc version.    … Expand

    It is a very nice game, the sense of development in the game is different from most of the guns and it gives the feeling of hitting to the bottom.

    If I were to praise the game here, it has a lot of things, I will talk about a few things.
    Once I had a lot of difficulty in this game because I like to grind in games, there were not many places where I died one after the other except the gargoyle boss and the great hollow Nito, I even beat the Seath of Scaless Bed of Chaosu in a single game. He quits the game when they hang out in some places, the real pleasure is when he passes there
    and bonfires are not far between them, there are bonfires before almost every boss, but most of them are hidden because they are in the right corner.

    Now for the minuses:
    the game put the roll and run button on the same level and you cannot change it, so the character rolls or bounces while trying to run, which caused me to fall down many times -1
    If it was possible to redistribute the levels because when I started the game I did not know what I was going to go to and I gave belief to intelligence. Nonsense, they upset me -2

    You put some of the bosses in the game as monsters in the future, this is not a very nice thing. I lost that epicity when the gargoyle boss died 50 times and then cut it, when I met him again in the anor londo died in 2 hits -3

    This games controls are horrible, and the game play is even worse. Locking on to an enemy is basically useless. The dialogue is cringeworthy. There is no pause button, so you are basically dead even if the smallest thing distracts you while playing.

    -Its hard, because the game FORCES you to use its weekest mechanics-jumping for example.
    -Hardest bosses-1)camera, 2) kick -Many locations are dark as **** (DARK souls, i get it), one wrong step and YOU DIED-thats not challenging, thats annoying. -Week, unsatisfying bosses. Except ornstein and smough. They are cool.    -This game feels like its not from 2011, but 2007 (except graaphics)

    People give this negative reviews because the remaster really doesn't fix or improve anything about the original. That's fair. But this is still an amazing game. They didn't need to do anything other than bring it forward.

    Boring. I don't like it. Probably the most overrated video game of all time. This games controls are horrible, and the game play is even worse.

    Remastered edition is mostly made for new players, but it is still Dark Souls, one of the best action RPG-s in history.

    This Dark Souls Remastered targets people who played the original game on console, or the ones who never played it before. It’s still one of a kind game, but this remastered version is definitely too lazy.

    Dark Souls: Remastered can almost barely be considered a remastered title for PC gamers and, while it provides some increase in graphics and quality of life improvements, these additions are largely negligible unless you’re a dedicated multiplayer fan. Despite this fact, Dark Souls is still an amazing game that is worth playing through more than once, and there’s a lot here for gamers who’ve never played through the first title in the Souls series.
