Nov 28, 2025For anyone growing up with Hero Quest, Dark Quest 4 is an easy recommendation. The developers show real love for the classic tabletop experience, delivering charming aesthetics and a wealth of content, from diverse heroes to a generous lineup of quests.

Dec 3, 2025Dark Quest 4 proves that tabletop role-playing games never go out of style. After the golden age of the ’80s and ’90s, today consoles and PCs bring us back—if only in our imagination—to the same table where we once played alongside family and friends. It’s a title that celebrates tradition while refreshing it, offering an experience that blends nostalgia, tactics, and creativity.
-
Nov 23, 2025Dark Quest 4 delivers a nostalgic and enjoyable turn-based dungeon crawler experience with handcrafted levels, strategic combat, and a simple yet engaging progression system, although its story is minimal, animations are sparse, and level variety is limited; the editor and community-created dungeons extend its longevity, making it a solid pick for newcomers and fans of light strategy games.
-

Underneath its modest exterior, it hides tactical depth, but, unfortunately, also some bugs that make the gameplay unpleasant.
-
Nov 10, 2025Dark Quest 4 successfully transforms itself from board to video game but loses something in the process, leaving it feeling a little flat and cold.

Nov 5, 2025Dark Quest 4 was a lively, immersive experience, with a style of play that kept me coming back for more. If you’re a fan of turn-based action, TTRPGs, and fantasy games, you’ll get a kick out of this title. It’s got a rich single-player mode, an in-depth map builder to help you make your own levels, and a multiplayer mode as well.
