Running good on a 2013 pc build with 16gb ram, gtx970, i7 4790k, and a non ssd HD. I have not had any crashes yet (fingers crossed), My friends have had issues, but when not using rtx they had almost no issues.

I would not recommend the game if you do not like grinding like a DnD style game, Pathfinder KM, Underrail and other games like that.

PC version is fuuuull of bugs, popping, PS2 textures, bad performance... It's a pitty, as it is really a good game, but nowadays is disgusting to play it. 7 years and so many delays for this just aren't explainable. For now, it is a 0 for me. And I have to say I am playing the PC version at ULTRA settings, which is supposed to be the best version xd

I am excited and surprised by the world building around every turn. Additionally, I am completely invested in the characters I have met so far. The mechanics such as the driving, gunplay, and hacking may not be the top of their class in their own right but it’s truly astounding how good the moment to moment feel of the game is when so much detail was put into the narrative and open world. Also forgot to mention the rock solid rpg elements of character customization and narrative impact the player can have based on their choices. This game is truly special once players look past some of the blemishes that are inevitable with a game of this ambition and scope. Expand

It's an interesting premise but it hardly does anything interesting in the game. Mechanics are bog standard for an immersive sim, nothing that the new Deux Ex games didn't already do better 6 years ago. The bugs are easily the worst part, they are constant and throughout. You won't get through the first hour of the game without hitting multiple, very noticeable immersion breaking bugs. IfIt's an interesting premise but it hardly does anything interesting in the game. If this was an action or adventure game it would be passable but in an immersive sim it's unforgiveable. People walk into each other constantly, turn around on a dime, and only barely react to you when you point a gun directly at them. AI in cars are more buggy than functional, endless traffic jams where nobody is honking. Think when was the last time you were content to sit idling behind someone on an empty highway behind someone waiting for them to move. Cars and people pop in an out as you turn your head and replaced with different cars and people.

I asked for a refund and I think you will too.

    1. There are bugs (a lot of em) but it will not matter to someone who will play somewhere in the next 5 months.
    2. Dont expect open world elements like rdr2 and zelda had. Think of it as uncharted lvl linear game.

Compounding my dissapointment with my pre-order is the fact that the game(while having a very interesting main story) fails to deliver any sort of meaningful character development in the early game. Throughout speech options feel comparable to Fallout4 dialogs albeit with less interesting options. Gameplay on last gen consoles is riddled with framers drops, and bugs which complete break in game immersion. Cyberpunk plays like an abusive relationship teasing you with something good just ti smack you with a game breaking bug or glitch, but you keep going back hoping it will get better. For a game marketed as an RPG developers have back pedked to calling it an "open world action adventure game". Presumably because the massive cut of normal ROG elements such as significant character customization and modification in game(not just at the start). Additionally there are many questionable control and interface designs which make the game frustratingly hard and overly complicated to navigate and understand. Ultimately this game while full of visible potential falls flat and fails to deliver what was originally marketed. Furthermore on last gen consoles it is virtually unplayable. When it does work you get a mixture of Birderlands and Fallout4 with chunkier combat and looting with a couple of RPG elements sprinkled in. Don't purchase with high hopes. Expand

Before the game came out many reviewers claimed that the main story was only a small part of the game and that the side quests will be where the real meat of the game is. But, after beating the game and playing through the main endings as well as completing all the non-gig side quests (other than finding all the graffiti) I can say that this is 100% false.

Before the game came out many reviewers claimed that the main story was only a small part of the game and that the side quests will be where the real meat of the game is. But, after beating the game and playing through the main endings as well as completing all the non-gig side quests (other than finding all the graffiti) I can say that this is 100% false.

Completing all the side quests takes about the same amount of time as the main story. However, many of them are glorified gigs. And, the one's that do have a story do not rival the main story in any way. If you expected side quests similar to Fallout or Elder Scrolls then prepare to be let down.

There are a number "main" side quests that revolve around: Terry (Johnny's band member), Judy, and Panam. These are longer than all the others since they are the start to quest chains. But the chains are short for what they are. Then, there are 3-4 side quest chains with only 2-3 parts. And, the rest of the side quests are one-off quests that can take anywhere from literally only 1 minute to 20 minutes.

The side quests have slightly more choice than the main quest line. But, the choices have almost no consequences. It really doesn't matter what you decide or how to talk with the characters. Usually, you'll get a happy or mean text an in-game day later.

So, the game has: a good main quest with terrible endings, about 20 mostly boring side quests with only a few turning into quest chains, no impactful choices, and very little RPG elements in terms of life-path, attributes, and perks. Atleast, the map is really cool. It's a shame they didn't use so many of the cool areas they created for something other than pointless and repetitive gig quests. Next time you're driving in-game: look around. Look at all the cool places the designers made. Do you know how much of it is used to tell interesting stories? Almost none of it. What a shame.

TLDR: Buy the game if you think you'll really enjoy the main story. Don't buy it for anything else. The side quests, world, and lack of RPG elements will disappoint. Hell, even the main story's ending may disappoint.

It isnt the second coming of jesus christ like some people expect it to be, but under all the hype both negative and positive were left with a pretty incredible experience. I believe in a few months once the game is patched up every one will be singing its praises. I'm not excusing the bugs and CD Project Red clearly has their work set out for them, but we should judge a game off of what it is and not the fixable issues it has at the moment. I've noticed that alot of gamers online love to jump on the hate bandwagon of anything just for the fun of it (see The Last of Us part 2 leaks). And yes the game does have some bugs, for me it has been nothing too serious and game breaking but I do understand players frustration with buying a $60 game and getting a buggy first couple of hours. Games of this scope will always have bugs at launch and people seem to forget this every time the new shiny showstopper game comes out. Give the developers some time and patience (something alot of "gamers" seem to dearly lack) and this game will be up to snuff soon enough. Dont always buy into the hype both positive and negative, make your own opinion on games, dont just listen to Youtubers who are using this to get your clicks. play the game and finish it before you decide whether or not it is good or bad dont be sheep. I give this game a 9/10 on pure potential and 7.5/10 on current state of the game which will be patched up in no time. We all thought No Mans Sky was **** when it came out and look at how they turned that around. Good luck and have fun in Night City my friends. Expand

To make the game work they’ve depopulated Night City to the point that it’s an empty sandbox. It’s a fantastic city, beautifully designed. But without the horsepower to do it justice, the PS4 version feels hollow. All the graphical flourishes that bring the world alive? Forget it. It looks like a game from the early 2000s on a last gen console. The eye popping visuals are limited to the top 5% of PC spec. Everyone else gets “functional” It’s a shame as the CDPR magic is here, their strengths are all on display, but they should have just bitten the bullet and made this a PC/PS5/XBox X title. I will say, though, that this is a role playing game in name only. Apart from a quite involved skill tree, there aren’t the world changing decision trees in this game. Some of the dialogue options have one choice. What’s the point of presenting me with a single choice dialogue tree? Do they think I will miss pressing a button every couple of minutes? And there is a mission that’s basically a platform level. If I wanted a platform game I would buy an old Sega Megadrive and plug Sonic the Hedgehog in. The old hardware can’t cut it and they knew it, why else did they withhold console code from the reviewers? The way to play this is either on a high end PC or wait for the next gen console versions. CDPR should take a reputation hit for this. They’ve released a game onto a format that can’t do it justice and tried to conceal the shortcomings for short term profit. Any claims to being customer-centric die here. Expand

The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
