    The history and the gameplay are amazing and epics, but the exessive bugs don't let him be so epic, I was so hiped, but now, CD is in the same level then Ubisoft, EA and that another enterprises.

    Cyberpunk 2077 es un juego increíble, a falta de pulido en consolas, jugando en pc y ps4 fat se nota la diferencia pero para nada la versión de consolas se merece una soga al cuello, muy disfrutable a pesar de los fallos en resolución y framerate, ultra enganchado a night city

    Quite buggy at times, but my game ran fine enough for me to see how amazing it is. Interesting characters, expansive story, fun gameplay. I think the UI is a bit weird but that's not too important.

    I've been playing for 30h now, half of that spent on side missions, 5h on playing around with things, customization and driving around, rest on main story (only about... 25% in as of now).

    Game is great and salties aren't right, although they make valid points. They might not enjoy it, but the game and especially the storytelling does a lot of things very well. Side missions are lively and introduce the player to a lot of characters and tell great backstory. Customization is huge, albeit I think it needs a bit of balancing - a few sidequests and 2-3 hours of loot grind will make you OP as hell (I'm playing on hard). So to list a few of the good things:

    - graphics/world. If you have a good PC (of geforce now) you're in for a treat. The game is stunning. I've never seen a city like this in a game and it's obviously demanding, but very enjoyable. You can easily spend hours exploring this place not even doing any missions.
    - story. wow, not much to add. On par with the Witcher. Side quests are amazing, main story even better in my opinion. As long as you care to dive deeper into the world, you'll enjoy yourself. Not much is really generic in this game, although sometimes that's hard to avoid in a type of game that's been done 1000s of times.
    - driving. I actually love it. It's really pleasant and encourages to drive carefully (weird!) while still giving a lot of fun. Plenty of vehicles to choose from and I've had way more fun than with GTA. I know it's an unpopular opinion though.
    - voice acting/music/sound design in general. 10/10 material.
    - shooting. I come from an FPS background and I enjoyed the shooting part mostly. Not the best, but good. Varied and fun, even after a few hours as a lot of guns have their own specific perks.
    - missions are really cool when it comes to ways you can go through them and reactions you get.
    - a lot of stuff you can find around that leads to unexpected meetings and storylines.

    There's a lot more, I just listed the most important stuff.

    I have to say though, I feel like the game is ACTUALLY not in a finished state as of 2020. Hopefully in a year it will be more than what it is now, but to list a few things off the top of my head. There's a lot! But nothing apart from AI really influenced my enjoyment much, as I wasn't expecting a GTA in the first place.

    - AI: yikes. Non mission NPC are terrible and break the immersion often. Generic voice lines and reactions to everything are very often painful. I beg CDPR to double down on this and do things in a more Rockstar'y fashion, as they are masters of that. I know it's a city and useless NPC will be plentiful, but at least give them a clever twist, not make every one the exact same.
    - braindance. Maan. So much unused potential. Hopefully DLCs deliver on this part. No way there is no "commercial" braindances you can explore for yourself.
    - why the hell are 90% of doors locked?
    - generic open world missions. man, robberies and gang fights are so dull it's not even funny. I've done like 4. There's not even a hint of a story there, it's just "kill 4 people, open the box, get loot, mission done". police/gang fight mechanics are Dead ass boring. No chasing, no nothing. Any fight you can basically run from on foot which is stupid as hell. i mean... at least the cyberpsychos and tarot stuff was fun.
    - money. Dude.. where do i get money from?
    - i don't really know what changes with my build when it comes to the world. "Cool" seems useless and apart from that abilities only influence hacks and opening doors?
    - i have a weird feeling like so far I haven't had any meaningful choices to make. Game just leads me. maybe that's saved for the main story but idk feel like i should be able to make some minor choices in the world too, not just "i want to do this mission"/"i don't want to do this mission".
    - hard coded missions. I have felt that a couple of times, especially races. Those missions were just boring, I couldn't lose/win/everything was scripted.
    - things spawning around me. I know it's a gimmick mostly coming from the amound of stuff there's around that needs optimization, but you can't really spawn people behind me that much. I do a 360 and the crowd changes completely. Even the cars which is ridicoulous.

    Overall my problems were quite minor and I enjoyed myself a lot. And I'll keep on doing that for probably second 30 hours. I skipped on bugs as nothing I saw really caused me any trouble and I don't mind any minor bugs I've seen. I've had like 2 crashes. For what it's worth, after 30h, I'm in love with the game tbh.     Top game. Amazing world, story and characters with very good combat and RPG system. It's an RPG driven story, not a GTA open-world like. When you play for what it's the best for 2020.

    I wouldnt trust most of the 0 reviews because its just a bunch of accounts that are new and all say the same thing and give the game a 0. Saying that the game in pc is pretty finished out only experienced one bug and wasnt even that bad. The game looks amazing and the story feels like im watching a movie. The combat is fun especially if you use a katana or blades. Would reccomend

    The cons: Well, you as all of you know
    1-The bugs
    2-The gameplay is not what they promised us
    3-The variety in the game in general which means lack of weapons and cars ecc.
    4-The world isn't that alive although they promised it will be so much attractive and alive but at least it reflect the aspect of the game.

    I love it, it does have a lot of bugs but it's a pretty awesome game with a good story. I love how much attention they gave to detail, everywhere you see there's something to look at.

    I played the PC version I have a rtx3080 and a 3900X i am able to play it on ultra rtx on, its pretty good.

No, but it serves as a template of atmosphere and RPG elements that could one day break us free from the cliched and repetitive run of the mill open world games. Cyberpunk gives you options, lore, amazing characters, skills and one of the most gorgeous cities in game to date.     Me parece una total falta de respeto a CD project red que estén haciendo Review Bombing, como sea. Cyberpunk 2077 es una historia bastante completa y un juego de rol bastante inmersivo, con un mundo abierto algo flojo debido a los bugs, nada que a la larga no se pueda solucionar.

    It is not a perfect game and they are some performance and graphical issues, but the gameplay and story are amazing, and it looks beautiful with ray tracing on a PC with my 3090, i have not even gotten more than 5 percent into the story missions as I am having a blast with the ridiculous amount of side content.

I can play this game on a low preset in full resolution of my monitor with 24-35 fps, I think it is enough for this graphics card. What I'm doing wrong? I have enough money to buy rtx 3090, but don't want to support people who make money on deficit graphics cards. From my point of view, developers have to make some work on optimization, but already now I can play this game without any problems. People that own base PS4 and Xbox consoles are having performance issues but those will be fixed within a few weeks, just like CD did with the Witcher 3. I can understand being a very casual gamer that does not wish to upgrade your console even after 7 years and two more powerful consoles being available to you, and being disappointed with the results of the performance. Many ambitious titles have had the same problems the last 15 years.

    The story is very interesting a compelling, the atmosphere is the richest i have ever experienced in a game (on pc), the voice acting and music score are on par with The Last of US 2. The extreme amount of dialogue options and gameplay mechanics are wonderfully impressive for a massive open world action adventure (rpg) title.

    Playing this game on a PC is breathtaking. If you have a modern gaming PC i would absolutely recommend Cyberpunk 2077. If you are still on old consoles like base PS4 and Xbox i would recommend waiting until they can optimize it further for these older consoles. CP2077 has a massively demanding engine powering it and the needs a good processor and gpu to help deliver, it is simply a demanding task to optimize for a old console. They should have just delayed it for these consoles and released it on pc until they could get it better optimized, however Covid has made work productivity hard this year.

    I would recommend not listening to the extreme criticism being offered as most of the love and admiration for this title is being drowned out by the minority of loud and aggressive circle jerkers. Or if you want you can jump on the hate train and miss this fantastic experience, it doesnt matter to most of us having a blast with this either way. Not a single crash has happened in my 20 hours of playing so far.

    All in all the vocal minority will move on to something else they can hate and bash on to expend their personal anger and feeling of superiority, and what will remain is a eventual masterpiece. It is absolutely worth every penny. Due to a few bugs this game does not get a 10.    … Expand

I will say I have seen my fair share of bugs; most I am not bothered as I expect games to have them at launch and no game is perfect and personally no game should get a “perfect score”. I believe that this game was hyped so much it was never going to reach the goals people hyped it to be, I kept my expectations about how I expected the Witcher series and I was not disappointed.

    Things I love about the game
    Story: Very good story, reminds me of Shadowrun on SNES.
    Graphics: On a RTX2070 I have had no issues since the patch and driver update.
    Environment: As a long time, Cyberpunk TTRPG GM and player I loved every minute of it, looking from the outside you see a small city, but once you are in it it’s huge and packed.
    Side quests: These are hit and miss but mostly enjoyable and punish you if you are not ready for them.
    Characters: All the main characters V interacts with I love, some of the side ones are one note but they should be. Also, Judy is best girl!
    Cyberware: feels they did not dig into the lore of cyberpunk as much as I wish they did.
    Character options: I love some of the options but some I am confused on; I wish I could see my character more often besides the mirror and one the motorcycle. The customization is good but could be better.
    Things that need work and I have issues with
    Bugs: There are still bugs after the patch, but I run into very few now, also update your graphics driver.
    Driving: I have to say I do no enjoy driving in this game, easiest way is using a motorcycle as you see more of the road and are more maneuverable. The driving needs to be tighter not so floaty. I wish there was an auto drive to just sit and move the camera while the car/bike drove by itself to the destination.
    Character options: I love some of the options but some I am confused on; I wish I could see my character more often besides the mirror and one the motorcycle. The customization is good but could be better.
    Audio glitches: This by no means takes me out of the game but sometimes people say stuff and the mouths do not move, OR you do not hear anything, and you know something was supposed to be said.
    User Interface: At times is laggy and feels inconvenient to use at times

    Final thoughts
    Can I recommend this game to buy YES, it is a very good game Many negative reviews and even some of the positive either over critique it or ignore the bugs they see. It needs improvement through patches, but in general I think the game is in a good state just needs tweaking, I know people may not have the PC I have BUT it could be better optimized in general. BUT out of the box the game runs and runs well, YES there are issues which I am sure will be addressed. Is it worth it’s price yes, but if you waited till they fixed some of the bugs I would not blame you, for me I have played 30+ hours and am not even done with the main story and loving the game.

    Beside the bugs and the glitches the game was surprisingly good story wise, some game mechanic like driving felt a bit off and the combat felt a bit slow but good overall especially with the hacking mechanic which give you more ways to play the game (helps being stealthy).I just wish it was more polished when it was released.

    Конечно есть и минусы в виде оптимизации на Playstaiton и Xbox, но    После 15 часов игры на ПК могу сказать что это игра действительно не зря заставляла нас столько ее ждать, да первое время к ней нужно привыкнут, особенно к интерфейсу, но поверьте, оно того стоит, в особенности сюжет и сайды, также приятно удивила стрельба с которой поляки справились, в общем все плюсы перечислять долго.

    The game is really great, the further I go through the game, the more I am convinced of this. Even with an abundance of bugs and problems, the plot, immersion, gameplay are excellent. CDPR is aiming for too much work, and I'm confident that in six months this game will deservedly be one of the best games of the decade.

    Playing on a fairly high end PC and I haven't really experienced any bugs. Frame rates stay over 60 on ultra 1440p. The world is insane and so immersive that sometimes it's almost weird. Like you can forget that it's a game world. This game is a monumental achievement that unfortunately is being sunk because they tried to shoehorn this achievement into 2013 console technology.

    I enjoyed my experience with Cyberpunk because I didn't really have expectations per se.
    As far as GOTY is concerned, I don't play enough new releases tbh
    I only played this because I was genuinely intrigued by the setting and Keanu Reeves's involvement, and the fact this was allegedly an RPG
    Bugs and glitches were negligible for me. 2 crashes in 300 hrs, pretty consistent 45-50fps even on my GTX 1080 on ultra settings, which I'll consider marginally "acceptable" for a somewhat poorly optimized new release. I anticipate performance will improve over time with patches, etc.
    And both crashes were essentially my fault from excessive reloading, save scum farming legendary loot for hrs on end. I'm surprised it didn't happen more often Lol
    Basically this game ran better than 99.9% of other **** I play, especially the overrated Bugthesda trash Lmao
    Storyline is top-notch quality, they really nailed the writing, it's so on-point, and the dialogue trees are ample (I still find myself reloading often, but I like the color coding), though it heavily relies upon Keanu Reeves's presence. I've had a blast playing it tbh. I love that it dabbles in the philosophical realm, concepts such as free will, the self, human condition are explored in painstaking detail, etc.
    But yeah, there's a lot of superficial fluff, it's distracting. Some of the design choices were plain ludicrous.

    - No vehicle or clothing customization.
    - Extremely limited romance options, essentially 1 or 2 depending on orientation.
    - Blocking access to a ripper doc just for punching the **** was stupid.
    - They didn't really deliver on the nudity thing. Pussied out as expected
    - You can't even see yourself naked really outside the menu and sex scenes, mods have been way better for years. It's not even close
    - Not having 3rd person perspective seems a little amateurish imo. I enjoy immersion except when it comes at the cost of fun and practicality. It's a very CDPR game.
    - The atmosphere is palpable, but the city while breathtaking graphics wise is sterile and lifeless, barely any NPC dialogues.

    These guys are great storytellers, but they kinda suck at the world building in the literal sense. They did a good job foreshadowing/complimenting certain quests in other regards through various in-game TV, radio and media however
    They have incredible ideas, shame they can't realize their open worlds like Rockstar (the world is the most important and underrated character and nobody does a sandbox better).
    R* is a jack of all trades. They're good at everything, especially crafting authentic intricate worlds with very sleek gameplay, which is exactly what makes their games so ridiculously addictive, fun, timeless, and replayable
    The actual world in Cyberpunk is maybe a cut above your average Ubisoft copy/paste gameplay loop ****
    The criticisms of the lifepaths were a little unfair... considering there's a ****load of unique dialogue options. What did people expect? 3 separate versions of the same story revolving around a **** colossal game? And your choices do matter, even on a quest by quest basis, sometimes down to a specific line of banter determining whether you successfully romance a character or side quest chain ends or continues. The **** you say in convos actually matters or changes things for once

    I'm obsessed with acting, writing, storytelling, so even if everything else is somewhat lackluster I can appreciate the sheer ambition.

    And I believe the story would have been underwhelming and suffered too without Keanu Reeves elevating everything

I had an initial problem with lots of bugs for the first two days of release but after the recent patch and my gpu drivers updates the game runs really smoothly!! I could give a 10/10 but if not for the lots of bugs on release. And yes graphic bugs matter because they ruin the whole experience and since this isPC review here: The game is truly amazing, I really have no words to describe.     I played this on the ps5 and I Love this game so far, yes there are a few bugs such as pop ins, floating items, and invisible items/characters and crashes but they definitely aren’t game breaking and stop my enjoyment of the game, so far haven’t experienced much graphical issues, but besides that it’s honestly one of my favorite RPG’s.     I haven’t experienced any game breaking glitches during my playtime. I have however experienced minor bugs but nothing serious. The main story and the side quest are great and interesting but the game combat and driving mechanics are not that great. I will like to see how CD Project Red expands on the game for the better just like they did with The Witcher 3.

    I’ve got a ps4pro and this game looks horrible on it. So I bought a gaming laptop , specially for this game. And it’s another level. Developers made best game for pc. Main quest, side quests , characters - just great! 9/10 because of bugs.

The game is really complex, a lot of endings, a lot of great written characters. Hope to see more from the developers in the future.

    Story telling is amazing, shooting mechanics and character development is well executed. The game runs smoothly on Xbox one. A couple of visual bugs encountered during gameplay, however its nothing that would ruin immersion or won't let you complete a quest. The city design is amazing, characters are interesting, the universe is well executed.

    As soon as they fix the bugs, it's gonna be perfect. You know what else was buggy AF at launch? That minor title called The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
    Ignore the ones crying about their 8 y.o. consoles not being able to run it as smoothly as your rig with RTX 20 or 30 series GPUs.

    In my opinion this game is everything that was promised and more.

    RPG of the decade & huge narrative success. The new gold standard which every other company will be measured against for the next 15+ years.
    The only thing stopping a 10/10 is some bugs and minor performance hiccups which will get fixed over time.

    Great game. Cd projekt did it again! I'm in love with this city and general storytelling. Everything I wanted. Just some tweaking and fixing is needed but that doesn't take what masterpiece this ge is

    Inmersive World, beautiful city, didn't expect such a nice gunplay, story is amazng great narrative, no major bugs with my gtx 1060 works smoothly, only theing I wish it have better clothes shops to see you character trying out clothles and places where you can change your hair.

    The game is everything that I expected and even more. A huge map full of life that makes you want to explore every alley, every corner to find something new. In fact, I haven't played the main story that much. I just drive and walk around the city to explore all that Night City as to offer. A lot of side quests and content that makes the game overwhelming in a good way. The story telling,The game is everything that I expected and even more. The story telling, the narrative is amazing, and the voice acting... Oh boy, it reminds me the voice acting in The Last of Us part 1. So much feeling in those lines it gives you goose bumps or even drop a tear like me.

    What else can I say? We all know the problems with this game. The bugs and everything. Lucky me I haven't suffer any of these problem. Just minor visual bugs with my character but I just take out my clothes, put it back and problem solved.

    If you like good games, good stories and well constructed characters, this game is for you.
    Cyberpunk 2077 is the best way to end this year and I'm excited to see the future content CD Projekt Red has to offer.    … Expand

    I have a lower to mid tier PC. I experienced many minor glitches, a few crashes, and one game breaking glitch. I also think many of the systems implemented into the game (police, crafting) leave much to be desired. However, the frustration I experienced from the shortcomings stated is inconsequential compared to the enjoyment I had from the story and exploration.     (Played on PC) Incredible game! The world is imersive and detailed, the characters feel complex and the combat is solid. Definitely the best thing to come out of 2020 but some minor bugs stop it from getting a 10. I look forward to coming back and changing it to a 10 when its fixed. EDIT: I just finished my first full playthough. This game will be a 10 for me when they patch out the bugs.

    I'm really enjoying the game, attention to detail is commendable and matchless. The world and environment created is really good. But CDPR really need to get this game polished ASAP. Visual bugs and glitches, Subpar AI, and poor optimization are the only short comings which should be delt with swiftly, so that CP2077 can realize the potential it has.    … Expand

    Enjoyable story, interesting setting, amazing characters cyberpunk really has so much good stuff. A game that I am still thinking about days later. As long as you have reasonable expectations and don't expect any evolution from the open world formula Witcher 3 established this game will not disappoint.     While this game doesn't do anything truly new or innovative, this game is absolutely phenomenal. From breathtaking vistas to the unique characters that fill Night City, this game has absolutely come through for me after waiting all these years. The sheer amount of lore in this game is incredible and I can't stop hungering for the next datashard explaining bits and pieces of this uniqueWhile this game doesn't do anything truly new or innovative, this game is absolutely phenomenal. From breathtaking vistas to the unique characters that fill Night City, this game has absolutely come through for me after waiting all these years. The sheer amount of lore in this game is incredible and I can't stop hungering for the next datashard explaining bits and pieces of this unique world. I love the progression system: you level up with XP but gain perk points based on actually using specific attribute paths such as gunplay, hacking, or stealth. I always find myself thinking beforehand how I'm gonna handle a situation and will even reload a save to try a different way and see how that turns out.

    Gripes:
    Bugs - Some NPC's will be walking around without legs, or your companion will be holding air when there should be a gun there. I've experienced nothing serious.
    Customization - Considering the scope of npcs, vehicles, and weapons, it's a shame you can't customize yourself past character creation or soup up your ride with racing seats or a sweet set of wheels.
    AI - Enemy AI is fine, again nothing innovative, but sometimes lacking like when one person finds you, they all do. That's annoying. NPC AI, including npc driving, is also pretty mediocre for a game of this magnitude. They aren't very reactive and seem to be given basic routines.
    Keybindings - As a PC user, some of the default keybindings are annoying and there isn't a way to remap keys to more traditional setups.

    Overall, CDPR has a stunning track record when it comes to fixing bugs and issues so I expect performance problems and bugs to be ironed out sooner rather than later. More importantly, I think CDPR can release DLC that adds in customization elements or patch the game providing more depth to the NPC AI. I have complete faith that in a few months, I could come back and give this game a 10/10.    … Expand

    Only technical part in a bad stage. You need a really good hardware to enjoy this game and graphical part is revolutionary, truly next-gen. Also couple of bugs exist, but not critical and half already fixed with 2nd day patch, i'm sure most bugs gonna be fixed.
    9/10 only because technical part.

    Yes it has bugs and optimization issues, but all of those can be fixed via patches. They have created an amazing RPG that is massive in its branching storylines. Don't go into this game expecting a futuristic GTA. Because it is far from that. The game itself disregarding bugs is close to a 10/10. Although he way CDPR handled marketing and launch is severely disappointing.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
