    Hey. This is my first review on metacritics.

    What I liked about the game: - Very cool music. - An interesting idea with netrunning. - Great plot and dialogue. Unfortunately, my 20 hour playthrough was blocked by a bug after which the game stopped saving. This upset me very much and the desire to go through these 20 hours didn't appear again.     What I liked about the game:
    - Very cool music.
    - An interesting idea with netrunning.
    - Great plot and dialogue.

    Unfortunately, my 20 hour playthrough was blocked by a bug after which the game stopped saving. This upset me very much and the desire to go through these 20 hours didn't appear again. The game support hasn't responded for several days.

    Disadvantages:
    - A huge number of bugs. Most bugs don't affect the passage of the game in any way. For example: appearing NPCs, graphical bugs, bugs in dialogs. But such bugs appeared three times, after which it was impossible to continue the game further. You try not to notice them because of the great plot, but at some point they become too annoying.
    - Open world. I didn't had no hopes on the game that the open world would be like in GTA5 or RDR2. But what I saw plunged me into despair. NPCs don't react in any way to your actions. You can literally walk through them and nothing will happen.
    - Combat system. It sucks. Especially close combat, from which you do not feel any impact.
    - The game is very beautiful graphically. But you can’t appreciate it as you drive through narrow streets and crash into half of the cars.

    Perhaps after 72 patches the game will be normal. But such a raw product was not worth producing.    … Expand

    This game is a joke, textures doesn't work - it all looks like game from 2000
    but it's important that you have a girl with colored hair on your team dealing with equality. It's a waste of time for this game

    Technical issues asides, Cyberpunk has a lot of problems in its core mechanics.
    -The Ai is utterly garbage
    -There is no AI for npc in vehicles, so no car chase with police or any other ostile npc -The world is empty with just a few shops that sells nothing, no recreational activities like poker, no barber or anything to change appereance - characters creation is extremely simple and    Technical issues asides, Cyberpunk has a lot of problems in its core mechanics.

    The game is over-hyped. Music is a strong point and then nothing for a long time. The expectations from the game The Witcher 3 were much higher. Unfortunately, I was disappointed.

    CDP RED again gave what we deserve, a good story, bugs will disappear with patches, and players with older console generations complaining about graphics are embarrassing.

    This game is a masterpiece. The writing, story, combat, and sheer size is breathtaking. Once this game has some patches to fix the bugs it will be amazing.

    The game is clearly unfinished, and underperforms even more for console players like me. It should be delayed for at least one year more. I couldn't imagine how it was in the original release date back in April! First, let's start with what doesn't depends on last gen hardware:
    A TON of bugs. No traffic AI at all. No Police/enemy AI. Constant crashes. No things to do in the city besides    The game is clearly unfinished, and underperforms even more for console players like me. It should be delayed for at least one year more. I couldn't imagine how it was in the original release date back in April! First, let's start with what doesn't depends on last gen hardware:
    A TON of bugs. No traffic AI at all. No Police/enemy AI. Constant crashes. No things to do in the city besides the quests. Quests that bugs and requires restarting the game to continue. Nothing interactive in the world. Configurations that are lost everytime you load the game. NPCs and ambient textures that don't load. Bad and unresponsive driving physics. Unresponsive and lifeless NPCs. Poorly implemented and inconstant lights and shadows. When dialing the Radio, it constantly freezes the game for a moment. Slow and unpolished menus. Bad implemented audio, like for example: when entering/exiting a car, the radio sounds are at 1 or 0, no realistic transition of sound.
    Cars that pop up glitching with the floor, other cars or NPCs. NPCs that spawn in the middle of the road, frozen, or going through the ambient/cars. A lot of other stuff, that others are posting everywhere and I can't remember right now.

    Now lets talk about graphics. I know that in a base PS4, it would be realistic to assume that graphics should not be like new gen, but man, its awful:
    Poor, blurry and glitchy textures. Blurry textures on buildings on very close fow. Panoramic views that relies on fog to not show long shots, and even then some surfaces bugs.
    And blaming the consoles is simply laziness.
    This is the same hardware that GTA V, Red Dead 2, Death Stranding, Last of Us 2, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima and other open world games were competent. Even Fallout 4 and Mafia 3 looks better, by a long shot.

    I will not refund, expecting that in a year or two, the game that was marketed as revolutionary arrives. But right now, this game is my biggest disapointment in games. I do not recommend buying at the moment.

На моем gtx 1050 она не то что на средних, на минимальных вылетала раза 4 точно. Синхронизация нулевая, модельки застревают в текстурах а о фпс вообще говорить не хочу. Ошибка поляков в том, что они анонсировали проект на стадии идеи. НО спасибо, блять, огромное, что вы подсасывали войнам социальной справедливости в твиттере и делаете разные размеры членов и груди. Мне кажется 2 дефолтных, которых показали в трейлере хватило бы чтобы заняться более важным. Да, ведьмак 3 в свое время тоже вышел забагованным и это пофиксили, но сейчас другая ситуация. У CD Projekt RED сложилась хорошая репутация среди людей благодаря ведьмаку и в принципе отношению к аудитории. Сейчас же они обосрались. Конкретно так. И проблема даже не в моей видеокарте (которая подходит к средним требованиям игры) у многих людей возникли те же проблемы и на более лучших ПК. Maybe the game should be called Cyberpunk 2076 (sequence to Fallout 76 and a year too early to release).

    PROs:
    - Great visual when you can run it
    - Has absolutely amazing soundtracks
    - Voice acting is superb for most of the characters
    - Surprisingly good level design for an open-world game this big
    - Gunplay feels on par with top FPS (rare for RPG)
    - Great writing and the captivating main story
    - Well-written and interesting side missions

    CONs:
    - Bugs -- LOTS of bugs, like, on avg. people get one bug per hour of gameplay
    - Non-gunplay combat mechanic (melee, hacking, etc.) is unpolished
    - Underwhelming character customization
    - Underwhelming romance choices (2 per gender, 4 total)
    - Generic dialog options and what you say mostly won't matter
    - Poorly programmed AI
    - Mishandled marketing and PR

    Most CONs are not fundamental so given enough time, can be fixed. When and if fixed, Cyberpunk 2077 is easily a 9 or even a 10 out of 10. However enough time CDPR didn't give.

    As is, Cyberpunk 2077 is mediocre at best.    … Expand

    Игра стала фурором геймдева 2020 года даже не успев релизнуться, но оправдывает ли она это?

    Геймплей.
    Игра не позиционирует себя, как мега-рпг игру, но все же подчеркивает элементы этого жанра. Левелинг, способности, атрибуты - все это основа рпг. И знаете, думая о них, хочется представить то, что ваш билд будет влиять не только на то, сколько урона вы будете наносить в определённой ситуации боя, но также и на действия вашего персонажа в ходе сюжетной линии. Да, есть дополнительные варианты диалога, но я не заметил за ними какой-то важности, что огорчает. Но, в оправдание этому, стоит отметить, что эти рпг-элементы гармонирует с игрой и позволяет вам стать киберкотлетой с таким оружием или стилем боя, который вам нравится. Бои в игре всегда интересные, а система "хакинга" расширяет долю экшена в жарком бою или делает стелс более разнообразным (спасибо геймдизайнерам за такую возможность). Таким образом, экшен вам никогда не надоест в этой игре, (а он будет часто, благо гринда нет) а квесты..

    Сюжет и квесты.
    Начнём с квестов, CD Projekt Red сделали хорошую работу, взяв за основу простые цели и сделав их них уникальные приключения в Найт-Сити. Здесь вы можете просто "побить" разбойников или помочь ИИ на таксисте поймать "злых двойников". Сюжет же занимает главную часть сценария и стоит на первом плане (даже впереди атмосферы), так, сначала нам кажется, что история слишком простая, про друзей-бандитов (прямо как Mafia или GTA), но, в какой-то момент, история принимает неожиданный поворот и меняет вектор. Наш персонаж, имея в начале обычную цель амбициозного человека, становится человеком с идеей (интересно почему :) ) и.. А вот дальше вам самим нужно поиграть, я человек не святой, но все же отдельный котёл в аду не хочу.
    В целом, сюжет интересный, интригующий, настораживающий и имеет свою индивидуальную фишку, но все же я бы не делал некоторые вещи предсказуемыми, а некоторым персонажам дал бы раскрыться на все 100.

    Атмосфера, город и пригород.
    Найт-Сити - это самое настоящее олицетворение капитализма, магазины, яркие вывески, роскошные дома... А стоп, эти небоскребы для богатеньких, а ты поживи в мегабашне(прямо из перезапуска фильма "Судья Дредд"). Атмосфера города сияет и ослепляет, тут нечего сказать.

    Графика.
    О да, самое сладкое для любителей некстгена. Приятный десерт... А ОБЛОМИТЕСЬ, Я СТУДЕНТ-БОМЖ. Но игра на средних настройках выглядит неплохо, конечно на более мощных системах все намного красивее, лучики и... T^T (нет, я не плачу, просто.. Просто я придумал такую шутку про классный современный комм и забыл её, но от смеха все ещё идут слезы)

    Хорошая игра, 8/10, а я дальше плакать..    … Expand

    I have a moderate gaming pc and this is the best game i have ever played. The scope of the game is incredible. The graphics are absolutely amazing. This game does contain a few bugs but nothing like a Bethesda game for instance.

People that own base PS4 and Xbox consoles are having performance issues but those will be fixed within a few weeks, just like CD did with the Witcher 3. I can understand being a very casual gamer that does not wish to upgrade your console even after 7 years and two more powerful consoles being available to you, and being disappointed with the results of the performance. Many ambitious titles have had the same problems the last 15 years.

    The story is very interesting a compelling, the atmosphere is the richest i have ever experienced in a game (on pc), the voice acting and music score are on par with The Last of US 2. The extreme amount of dialogue options and gameplay mechanics are wonderfully impressive for a massive open world action adventure (rpg) title.

    Playing this game on a PC is breathtaking. If you have a modern gaming PC i would absolutely recommend Cyberpunk 2077. If you are still on old consoles like base PS4 and Xbox i would recommend waiting until they can optimize it further for these older consoles. CP2077 has a massively demanding engine powering it and the needs a good processor and gpu to help deliver, it is simply a demanding task to optimize for a old console. They should have just delayed it for these consoles and released it on pc until they could get it better optimized, however Covid has made work productivity hard this year.

    I would recommend not listening to the extreme criticism being offered as most of the love and admiration for this title is being drowned out by the minority of loud and aggressive circle jerkers. Or if you want you can jump on the hate train and miss this fantastic experience, it doesnt matter to most of us having a blast with this either way. Not a single crash has happened in my 20 hours of playing so far.

    All in all the vocal minority will move on to something else they can hate and bash on to expend their personal anger and feeling of superiority, and what will remain is a eventual masterpiece. It is absolutely worth every penny. Due to a few bugs this game does not get a 10.    … Expand

Система стрельбы с отлетающими цифорками полная параша. На высокой сложности, чтобы убить обычного бомжа тебе надо попасть ему раз 10 в голову, да и само оружие не чувствуется.
    Диалоги по 5 минут просто задалбывают. За сюжетом вообще    Унылый сюжет, куча багов, глупый ИИ, ужасная стрельба и езда на машинах, очень высокие системные требования.     Ии в этой игре поям безумно тупые. На улицах они ведут себя не реальнестично, в перестрелка тоже. Кароч полный шлак.
    Физика машин уровня ватч догс. На них просто не приятно ездить и у миникарты слишком большое приближение так что когда ты ездишь можешь на изи пропустить поворот. В гта 5 машины были сделаны намного лучше и ездить на них в разы приятнее.
    Редактор персонажа хуже чем в дарк соулсе. Ни выбора ширины плечь, ни выбора телосложение . Зато можно настроить член.
    Русская озвучка очень плохая. Куча мата который просто ни к месту. Он во многих ситуациях просто не нужен. Как будто слушаешь первоклассников которые матерятся просто чтоб матерится.
    Кароч мне игра вообще не понравилась и покупать по крайней мере сейчас(из-за кучи багов) я не советую.    … Expand

    ALOT of bugs. I personally haven't had anything game breaking but the bugs are noticeable. Driving needs some work. Optimization also needs more work. The UI isn't the best.     El juego luce increíble y las misiones son variadas y a montones. La historia principal es muy buena y los personajes super carismáticos. Es un portento tecnológico que da la impresión que salió adelantado a su época, nunca debió salir para consolas porque se ve lastrado por su hardware de hacer 7 años. Es un juego para pc y se necesita uno de gama muy alta para apreciarlo en todo suEl juego luce increíble y las misiones son variadas y a montones. La historia principal es muy buena y los personajes super carismáticos. Es un portento tecnológico que da la impresión que salió adelantado a su época, nunca debió salir para consolas porque se ve lastrado por su hardware de hacer 7 años.     Regardless of the bugs, optimization issues etc. the game is just a garbage. Very shallow story, boring npcs, ugly fonts and menus and many more glitches .

    You feel like you are playing a cheap fps game. And yes, this is the game that was advertised like hell and promoted to be a new gen rpg game. Absolutely has nothing to do with rpg but still would enjoy as a fps. No, you cannot even do that.

    This game is CRIPPLED with player control problems, bugs, and bad in-game physiques. I play on PC but wasn't able to re-map my keyboard controls, to begin with, so the game was actually un-playable for me. Had to just go along with the terrible control layout for a while to just experience it a bit but as I said it was not possible to proceed further, had to throw it away. Totally disappointed.

    One of the best game I've ever played in my whole life ... Some people says bugs are everywhere but after 20+ hours not one for me ! Maybe I'm Lucky ... anyway the Universe of the game, the storytelling, the ambiance everything is wonderful for a big Blade Runner fan for me ! Thank you CDProjekt !     The game as it is right now is a major let down.
    The police spawn out of nowhere.
    The ai is dumb as a rock.
    There is no ai for cars, they just follow a pre programmed path.
    The bugs, the crashes, would give it a negative if I could.

    2- If you gave a 10 you are probably a delusional fanboy in denial and cannot recognize that the game has serious flaws and is indeed undercooked.

    If you try to see the game in a more rational perpective you can see it is in fact a very good game, with potential of being a 9 (once its patched in, CDPR did it with Witcher 3, pretty sure they will do it again). I feel the game was rushed to launch due to the gaming community, shareholders, and console-makers pressuring CDPR launching the game. The result is a game that seems like a Beta of a very good game.

    If you have a gaming rig to tame this beast, it is a technical marvel, it simply looks amazing, never seen nothing like this, not even RDR 2. The immersion is surreal! For those who complain of the "edgy" looks, FFS it's a Cyberpunk game, being edgy is part of it.

    Story-wise I find it compelling and actually much more emotional and less edgy that I was expecting, 12 hours clocked in and I'm quite involved in the story!

    Technically wise, the NPCs do seem a little dumb, and not doing much, but again, where they doing that much more in other games? This is a RPG made in 2012-2020 not 2077, 98% of the population is scenario and the 2% are the characters important for the plots, and thats perfectly acceptable.

    The gameplay is solid in my opinion, with good gunplay (closer to an actual FPS than to Fallout), driving actually feels quite good and more realistic than GTA imho.

    My perspective is that we are in a "No Man's Sky" scenario, the game has the potential, and with future DLC and patches I really do feel it will live up to the hype...

    If you don't accept it you are being unreasonable, you can have your opinion, but i still does make you an idiot.

    Just to say in the end that I really pity the butt-hurt people (and console folks) because they spend money and now they are not enjoying the experience. So yeah guys I'm sorry for your experience, buy a PS5 and go play Miles Morales!

    Aside of bugs, my only gripes about this game are the clunky feel of the default controls for keyboard, and an underwhelming character creation. It's 2077 and I should be able to craft flawless waifus with prefect skin and everything, and yet I'm stuck with something that is distinctly human. Jokes aside, I wish it had a character creation as detailed as something like black desert online, or at least tools like more hairs, sliders, sculpting, custom RGB color selection, etc. for your characters to have the potential to look that way.

    I haven't finished the story so I can't provide feedback on it, but so far it hasn't disappointed. Can't say that its perfect, as I feel like I'm forced to play as V, rather than my own character unlike other open world RPG like Skyrim.

    In terms of skills, its horribly unbalanced. 20% of perks are very powerful/useful while the rest are either too situational or the effects are too underpowered. But I guess it rewards people who understands the value of each perk?

    tldr; this game is great. not perfect, but fun. lets hope cdprojekt red fixes the bugs so more people can enjoy the game the way it was intended to be. would give it a 9/10 but 10/10 to counter the review bombings    … Expand

I have an rtx 2080 and it does chug along a little bit but it's easy to see why. The lighting/ shading/ color schemes are all very complex and crisp. This is the new benchmark that makes you say "can it run Crysis?" to now saying "can it run Cyberpunk?" The game play is a first person shooter style but it definitely is more of an RPG than anything else, so keep that in mind if you are considering purchasing this game. It has very intense moments and fantastic character development. The acting is pretty average which isn't awful but if it was a movie it probably would give out any awards to the actors, but the story is riveting! This game is on definitely in my top 5 already but I can see how it's not for everyone. Buy this game if you have the right hardware and you like rpg's with fps elements.     I have played PC version. Night city is a breathtaking open world. This kinds of detail is never seen before. Stories of the game are very interesting. Hack skill is also very fresh element.

    Most complex and deep RPG Game I have ever played. It's dealing with a backlash of crazy hype on this game, but players have short memory. Once it's patched it's at least 10/10 game. People forgot how did GTA IV run on PC 's on premiere. It was unplayable, but it ended up as one of the best games I have played. Same thing with this one, only it runs quite well on PC.

    I'm 12 hours in, scratching the surface. The world is amazing, the amount work that was put to create this Cyberpunk vibe, this multilayered city. Small details all over you, every alley, corner, roof. Based on what I experienced - quest are multilayered and can play to different outcomes based on decisions, background and skills. Great stuff that some stats can unlock additional dialogue features, like in F2. Can't say a lot about character development, but it looks like multiple builds and playthroughs should be a thing. Specialisation is a must have.
    Weapon customisation, character customisation, factions, standings, cyber enhancements. All is there.
    9 is because the initial glitches, which are really sporadic in the 1.3 version I started to play, and not game breaking. Havent had a single crash or being forced to reload.
    When they polish that to standard of W3 it will be a great game.

    Sadly, this is next-gen - PS4/Xbox versions are just a money grab. If you a console player, wait for SeriesX/PS5 version release.

    One of the best games I've played. Have it on PS5 and its honestly just gorgeous and beautiful in every way possible. If you love RPG's this is the game of the year 100%. Sadly the last generation consoles cant run this game too well and people are downvoting the hell out of this game. Dont listen the game is great. Still dont but on previous gen or if you have weak pc.

    CDPR does have talent because objectively Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game. I mean it is something special. The world is fantastic, the story is amazing, the combat it deep and fun, and customization options are deep, and the characters are engaging. In terms of raw core mechanics, it stands as one of the greatest RPGs ever made. But on consoles, this thing is a mess- a serious mess. We all need to kinda accept a few things as reality.

    1. It will be patched soon. CDPR actually patched Witcher 3 a total of 23 times. Skyrim by comparison got 9 patches. I have no doubt the bugs and issues will be resolved by January.
    2. The game will never look better. That sucks I know but the reality is all that detail comes at a cost. The CPU of the PS4/Xbox One cannot handle this game. It was made to run on next-gen systems because the 7-year-old PS4 just can't do it no matter how hard you try. To make the game functional it has to look like it looks
    3. CDPR is not going to invest money and time into a dying console. They will make it functional and smooth but they are not spending 2 years dumping in millions to make a game look perfect on a console that won't be around in a year.

    Even on PS4 the game is good. If you are super visual- like you HAVE to have games that look and feel perfect then this game is not for you. If you can look past some jank and a fair appearance there is an insane amount of fun to be had here.    … Expand

Every square inch of this game looks lovingly handcrafted. And all that, with RTX off. With RTX on, the visual aspect of this game goes from a 10 to an 11. The lights relfect and refract across the surfaces of the world, bathing it in neon reds and blues. Simply amazing.

    The gunplay is heads and shoulders above every other RPG that has attempted using FPS mechanics. Each gun feels solid in your hands, and you get a meaty response every time you pull the trigger. It's especially helped by the fact that the enemies, again unlike other RPGs with FPS mechanics, don't feel spongy at all, provided you don't stray too far from you current level.

    Variability in gameplay is also one of Cyberpunk's high points. It doesn't go as far in giving you a wide array of options to tackle a situation, as lets say, Deus Ex, but it always allows you to resolve a quest with at least four or five different ways. Ranging from the going in all guns blazing, to talking your way in and out.

    The city trully feels alive. The hustle and bustle of bussy streets, the uneasy feeling you get when you stray in one of the less than safe parts of town, the various vendors. It all gives you thee feeling of being in real metropolis, and not just a game world.

    Story, dialogue, voice acting, and direction, is top notch. It manages to captivate you from the first second. No matter if it's the main quest, or just a random gig that can be resolved in five minutes flat, it never fails to grab your interest and make you invested in what you're doing.

    The bad:

    The AI leaves a lot to be desired. Wether it's in stealth, where the enemies display signs of cataracts, or in traffic, where if the street is blocked for whatever reason, every single car on the lane will simply stop and wait indefinatelly, the AI is just... bad. The scripted encounters with NPCs in the world do try to remedy this, by showing you intriguing slice of life moments, like taking pictures with a homeless doomsayer in the side of the street, but it's not nearly enough.

    The police system would be better off just not existing. From the moment you pull the trigger on a civilian NPC, you have about three seconds before the police spawns literal inches behind you and starts shooting. Not like that is an issue of course, as the police will promplty forget you ever existed, if you jstust run as far as the other side of the street. What's even more frustrating, is that this only happens when you shoot civilians, if you decide to go in a shootout with a gang, the police will completely ignore you, thus breaking immersion.

    The meh:

    I can only speak for myself here, but in my 10 hours of gameplay, I haven't encountered a single bug that was annoying, let alone game breaking. A couple of NPCs T-posing, and a pair of floating chopsticks was literally the worst I got.

    The loot system is copy and pasted from any other generic looter-shooter in the market. You endlessly cycle through weapons that give you incremental increases DPS, and that's pretty much it. It almost doesn't make sense that it gives you a gun locker in your apartment, you'll never hold on to a weapon long enough to bring it back home. As a result, the crafting system is also just... there. Why bother crafting anything, when something with better stats will inevitably drop from an enemy within the next ten minutes of gameplay?

    It's often better to walk than to drive. This one is a real shame, because Cyberpunk features one of the best vehichle lineups I've seen, but the experience of driving around just feels clunky. With the exception of the highways that connect the differetn districts of Night City, or the open road of the badlands, it doesn't make sense to hop in your car.

    Conclusion:
    It's a really unique game, that can't be readily compared to other titles, like GTA, or Fallout. If you are willing to go in not expecting it to be something that it isn't, the good outweigh the bad, making it a must-buy.    … Expand

    I'm so Sad CDPR. The Lifeless open world and enormous bugs ruined every experience. This game Actually Kills CPU and The Frame rate is so unstable. Im sorry to give this score but It was so disappointing

    I've bee waiting for the game since I was kid in 2013, it has introduced me to cyberpunk genere (so I fell in love with books, films and games) and was always praising the game on with just getting over excited with everything devs posted about the game. Even bought collector edition. So i was pretty hyped but there are tons of things that killed it in me. So I will starts with cons

    • First of all bugs - I don't think there are any aspects of the game that aren't broken. NPCs, floating guns and cars, looting system, AI, audio, interface and the list goes on. It's not like those bugs are any kind of game breaking but you get them constantly. You want to change car camera? Well, first you need to leave car. You want to loot something? Stand on it and stare down. Tons of characters don't even open their mouths.
    • Performance - I might not have a killer PC but holy game automatically started on ultra - nice. I'm not.gojng to talk about fps(got around 60 when went to medium settings), but the whole game renders so fu❤️king long. You can just run it o character and it will look like pre 2000 NPC. Same goes for cars. You often need to zoom into them for game to render them properly. Same goes with your weapon. Running with invisible katana is horrible. Overall the game looks nice, it has nice graphics when they works but I've experienced so many ugly animations so far that it's unbelievable.
    • Lack of content - you can't customise your character during the game, you can walk, you are forced to wear cloths that give you good armor and look horrible. Skill tree might looks huge but overall it seems to work like weapon modifications / most of the stats doesn't make sense. Broken economy, broken crafting. Also your screen is almost whole.the time full of some information which is distracting
    • And one more time AI is broken. Police spawns in dozens of unites in a few second but when you run for 20 secs then just give up on chasing on you. Drivers will always stay behind your car. Enemies often just stop shooting at you or it takes seconds for them to realise that someone is shooting at them. Stealth is horrible, after spending hounded hours in dishonored and Deus Ex I don't even consider trying it - it's so horribly dumb and scripted. Also interaction with people was better in postal So much for negatives. Didn't make whole story so not gonna talk about it for know. How about good things?
    • I like the combat. It's dynamic and satisfying. It's probably not everyones story but after you level up with your guns it becomes more and more fun
    • Its generally entertaining. I'm currently doing some basic quests but the whole lore and SF atmosphere really works out for the game. City is full of activities you can just encounter and discover • City is amazing. It's really big, beautiful and full of things to do. Looks amazing at night. Never even thought about fast travel
    • Music is dope as fu@k. Both score and radio are amazing • Quests and story so far are great. You really want to dig some others characters story I still recommend this game. I know that CDRP will definitely fix it and will work on it a lot (although they really lost tons of respect, currently game is not even close to what they promised on social media). It feels like good game but that's it. I was really hoping for 10/10 game but the best it can get is 8/10. It just lacks too much and doesn't deliver in many basic aspects of the gameplay. If CDRP take more care of it then it probably can almost become what Witcher 3 has accomplished. For now it's just better to wait and hope for patches. They now that they screw up, they know that it's not final product and that there should be another delay, they are not blind. The only thing is how king will it take to fix it. Game is in horrible state right now. Enjoyable but it just hurts how much potential they have wasted. If you are not in a hurry - don't buy it now. Cyberpunk 2077 has a lot to offer but right now you might just not feel it. As someone who was hugely hyped for game, it's a kind of sad, because I know that devs wanted to give a great game but something has f$cked up during development..


    After some more time in the game the story seems really gun, I love the idea they went with. Characters are well written and it's always nice to come back to them and get to know more. Really wished it wouldn't be so rushed. Game has potential but it way to flat in too many levels going below avarage of game's that we have already played in the past    … Expand

I think it may be the nature of a fully voiced game, but you do not really get to craft your personality. Your choices in dialogue seem to boil down to two things: which person to side with (and consequently who do then piss off) and how many questions do you want to ask before you let the story continue. As for choices in gameplay, you have two: shoot deadly weapons and swing sharp swords, or shoot nonlethal weapons and swing blunt weapons. Stealth doesn't work well, and there are not really any options to act rationally and diplomatically. If like me you expected to make a slick talker who can get out of any jam with his wits, you will be disappointed. You are a gunner/slasher and that is what you do. If you don't invest in combat, it's going to be a heck of a slog. 10 bullets to the head to kill a man... anyway, the writing really saves this game from the above and other unmentioned issues i had. Just do your research and know what game you are getting into. If you want roleplay and stealth done better in a sci fi shooter, try the metro series. Bonus: they actually run decently.    … Expand

    Looks amazing love the storyline aslong as you play on the pc it's a amazing game my expectations weren't so high like other ppl so I'm not disappointed I think alot of ppl had a unrealistic idea of the game so it wasn't gonna succeed anyway I'm glad I bought the game and I'll definitely recommend you play it on pc

    Yeah it has bugs and other stuff. But after few months they'll fix it. And we will only have good ass game. With interesting story, side quests, gameplay. I really enjoyed it. It's worse than witcher 3, but it is still really good game.

    What a pure dissapointment. This game needed 10 more years to be what they promised and advertised. The only customization left is ur character but u can’t see that because they removed third person cutscenes. In the opening they say u can live the rich live, yet u will always keep living in the slums because they removed appartments. So much got cut...this game isn’t worth 1% of the hype.

    Even though the game world seems to be amazing and its main story immersive this game is unplayable beyond compare because of its bugs and poor optimalization. There are no words that can describe the irritation that this game gives you when you play it. It's funny that so many aspects of ir are not finished and mamy of them are worst than in games from around 5-l (or even 10) years ago.

    Played for ~30 hrs. It's A M A Z I N G. Of course there are glitches like in every game just after the release but these are the things which are fixable. That's why I'm gonna focus more on the storyline, open world and variety of the options when it comes to character development etc. This game is HUGE!     This is the BEST GAME i've played in a DECADE! it's buggy? a bit yes.... but oh boy if it's good. The acting the story the depiction of the setting.... i've been a fan of the genre since i read neuromancer a LONG time ago and this brings... JUSTICE to Cyberpunk!

    Если у вас пк меньше чем за 2000 баксов, играть в это «чудо» невозможно, да и в принципе не понятно, что они делали 8 лет, даже с учетом того, что техническую часть поправят, реализация идей в киберпанке на 7 баллов максимум

    The reality is that this game is about average as it is now. It suffers from bugs and performance issues that will be surely fixed, and it has a bad AI, clumsy menus and pretty unrealistic physics. All of these are things that can be still fixed in the future patches. As an RPG this game is not very good and offers very limited choices, but then again, the CRPG genre is no longer alive at all. However, as a GTA-like action game with some RPG-ish elements such as limited character development and some dialogue, it's pretty decent.

    Nonetheless, the game looks beautiful. I'd say after some patches and DLC this could be easily a strong 8/10. I was really hoping for a co-op mode but nah, maybe later.    … Expand

Mind you, you can customize certain body parts..... yet no haircuts.     The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
