    Pros:
    The story is written beautifully. The voice acting is marvelous, quest design does not fail to impress. Environments are hand tailored giving an amazing immersion feeling. The RPG characteristics give you true freedom of choice (I For once defeated an entire hideout of gangster using only cameras and quickhacks).
    Cons: Open world AI is not the brightest, not even close to the    Pros:

    Open world AI is not the brightest, not even close to the ones we find in rockstar games. Cosmetic progression feels a bit off. And at last but not least, the game is very rough around the edges, I'd say a tad worse than The Witcher 3, but I have not experienced a single crash or game-breaking bug, I've sunk more than 30 hours in 2 and half days, so I'm comfortable saying this.

    PS. I do believe CDPR Dev team deserves a high score for their work, and I also believe they will give it the witcher treatment and polish the game until it feels perfect.    … Expand

    These childish review bombs are ridiculous. For me, the game has had very few glitches and the story and world of Cyberpunk are incredible. In my book, the game is somewhere between a 9 and 10 out of 10.

    I do, however, realize that some people have experienced some pretty substantial glitches. This would likely warrant a rating of somewhere between a 6 or 7.     its like biting into a delicious looking cake just to find out its plain vanilla. Its not a 0 or 1. The story seems eh so far. The gameplay is ok but not great. The world and city give false illusions. I've played way worse but I definitely played better bugs or not.

    Positive things, like interesting story, nice graphics and environment like Night City even u play on low detail and of course breathtaking John Wick. Gameplay have also slightly better than average quality despite fact its repetitive after some time. BUT all of this is focked up because tons of bugs on all levels of game.     Whatever others think, I promise - I really like this game despite the fact that this is not exactly what I was waiting for from this game.
    This is quite nice plot, big, saturated map and large choice of cars.
    This game of course has it's disadvantages like bad optimization, bugs and lots of deleted content, but this is normal for a big game like this.

    Game looks incredible and plays like a movie. One of the few games that actually grabs my attention and keeps me coming back for the story. Everything from the animations to the ambience is unlike anything else before it and the textures and lighting is 2nd to none. Performance wise the game has exceeded my expectations. I have an RTX 3070 pc that is able to play in 4k with raytracing onGame looks incredible and plays like a movie. I have an RTX 3070 pc that is able to play in 4k with raytracing on "psycho" in 4K with ultra Performance DLSS at around 50fps. My other pc with a 5600x amd 3090 plays it over 60fps on max possible settings with DLSS on balanced in 4K locked at 60fps and doesn't move. Game is even totally playable on my Ryzen 4700u HP Envy x360 and still looks gorgeous. All the negative reviews must be angry console players. Sorry guys!… Expand

    Buggy as hell, barely runs on any platform, falsely advertised as a genre defining game, atrocious AI. The list goes on. Literally the only new thing they’ve done in this game is give you dick options...

    The story is nice though and most of the characters are fun.

    I was madly waiting for this game. This was the only project that interested me in a long time. And it is really excellent, only now it is completely broken and crooked. This game cannot be sold at full price and must be released in beta status. I recommend returning to it in a year

    My heart broke when I saw the situation this game is in. From the staggering amount of bugs and glitches to general lack of polish.

    The game also severely lacks any meaningful features in gameplay, gun fighting is always the main focus and other methods of play come second.

    A lot of this game's features are just meaningless fluff, crafting is useless and armors makes not sense.

    This game is awesome, immersive, and might have the best presentation in any game that I've ever played. The scale and density of detail is second to none. It's not the biggest world around if measured by land area, but I think it's the most well realized we've seen so far.

    Plot and story-wise I found that it helped me immensely to have first read The World of Cyberpunk 2077, since I was previously unfamiliar with the details of the Cyberpunk universe. I could see complete newbies to the lore being somewhat confused and overwhelmed. There are some built-in lore dumps that can help, but that's probably not the best way to learn about the world. For me it's a bit less approachable than the world of the Witcher as they just kind of dump you in the middle of it without much of an intro. At least, that's how it was when I started my corpo lifepath character.

    As I'm sure you've heard by now, yes, it currently has WAY more bugs than it should, but I am confident that they will be fixed. If you don't want to deal with bugs, then go ahead and wait a few months, but for me the quality of the game is otherwise so high that I can handle it being in a bit of a mess. It's unfortunate because the bugs are doing a massive disservice to this game. It's a testament to the game's other qualities that I still love it so much in spite of the numerous issues.

    Performance is acceptable, and actually pretty good if you don't enable ray tracing. It's definitely a power hog if you wanna use RT, as it will nearly halve your frame rate immediately. I spent 3 weeks without sleep so I could get an RTX 3080, it's too bad Nvidia sucks and didn't produce enough of these cards for everyone who wanted one in time for this release. This is definitely a game that we will keep coming back to as new hardware generations are released.

    Pick it up now if you can handle the bugs, but it's not going anywhere if you want to wait for a more polished experience.    … Expand

    - For a game and genre centred around customisation, it's startling that there's no way to change haircuts, get makeup, or add to body cybernetics...nothing beyond the opening customisation (mind you, customisation is basically useless in this game anyway since you can't even see your character 99% of the time, which is a problem in itself).
    - The AI is awful, so many NPCs in the city but    - For a game and genre centred around customisation, it's startling that there's no way to change haircuts, get makeup, or add to body cybernetics...nothing beyond the opening customisation (mind you, customisation is basically useless in this game anyway since you can't even see your character 99% of the time, which is a problem in itself).
    - The AI is awful, so many NPCs in the city but they offer nothing. It's worse than Skyrim.
    - The driving is terrible, so hard to steer the vehicles that I'm forced to drive slow to avoid totalling the bike. And the cars feel like they have no weight, I can crash into a big truck while driving a small car and the truck will do a 360 degree flip while my car is fine.
    - So many damn bugs. I've had NPCs with faces flickering non-stop, cars exploding randomly during missions, one time my bike got caught under a car (with me under it) and I had to reload an old save to continue. So much for the day one patch fixing all the problems lmao.
    - The world is packed but somehow feels empty. Nothing to do except boring bounties and the main mission.
    For a game that was hyped for years, with people refusing to hear any criticism, and literally worshipping the developers, I really expected so much more. The game is by no means unplayable, and I still had fun with it, but there are just so many glaring issues. If a developer like Bethesda or Ubisoft had released a game with such issues, they'd be dragged to no end and there'd be boycotts everywhere. Double standards I guess.    … Expand

    Despite all the technical problems, the game captivates with its exciting story, insanely beautiful world and interesting characters. The dialogues are written very well, the world is interesting to explore. I want to spend hours, days, weeks in this game ...

    i am refunding the game for now and I will buy it again when its on sale or when the bugs are fixed. it is unplayable at its current state and I hope it will change.

    10 horas de juego...buena narrativa...una historia bien llevada....personajes carismaticos...la historia es mucho mas conpleja de lo que llegue a pensar con la trama de los trailers...los que se quejan del rendimiento en pc...no he tenido mayores problemas...bugs si hay unos cuantos me he topado pero nada que me arruine la partida como me paso en skyrim

    O jogo está incrível, tem uma história fantástica uma cidade muito viva, mecânicas interessantes. Foi realmente outro grande projeto da CD PROJEKT. O problema é o polimento, está com muitos bugs, mal otimizado não estava pronto para lançamento, espero que eles possam melhorar isso nos próximos meses e com certeza irão reverter as avaliações. E voltar a ser a empresa que escuta aO jogo está incrível, tem uma história fantástica uma cidade muito viva, mecânicas interessantes. Foi realmente outro grande projeto da CD PROJEKT. Без спорно, сюжетно игра великолепна, квесты, проработка персонажей, побочныеCDPR, а что это простите такое? Что с оптимизацией? Её что не завезли?     Let’s get the obvious out of the way: if you are playing this game on a last gen console (especially a base version), it is NOT worth the download. Bugs, performance issues, low frame rate, etc. It’s bad, but CP2077 is a game made for really good hardware. At base, I’m running the following:

    - i9 10850k - GTX 1660 Super, OC’d (+150MHz core, +750MHz memory) - WD M.2 I am running this game    Let’s get the obvious out of the way: if you are playing this game on a last gen console (especially a base version), it is NOT worth the download. Bugs, performance issues, low frame rate, etc. It’s bad, but CP2077 is a game made for really good hardware. At base, I’m running the following:

    - i9 10850k
    - GTX 1660 Super, OC’d (+150MHz core, +750MHz memory)
    - WD M.2

    I am running this game on medium-to-high settings, v-sync on, stable 60FPS. The graphical fidelity is great, and I’ve already put 18 hours into the game. Are there bugs? Sure. Performance drops? Rarely. Texture issues? Sometimes, yeah (I’m only running with 6 gigs of VRAM). But is this game playable? Absolutely. It’s the most fun I’ve had with a game in a LONG time. Sure, it really wants some beefy specs to run it right, but we’re almost in 2021. The PS4/Xbox One came out 7+ years ago. This is a next gen game, no doubt. I agree that CDPR should have not bothered releasing it on such old hardware, but you’d get people complaining even more so if they didn’t.

    In summary, this game is absolutely worth playing. IF you’ve got decent hardware. People who are complaining that it doesn’t run well on older consoles people with unrealistic expectations.

    Очевидный шедевр от Редов. Долго же я ждал, с момента как увидел самый первый тизер трейлер киберпунка. И вот он! Успел уже наиграть 40 с хвостом часов и не перестаю наслаждаться. Мой комп хоть и тянет только на средних, но всё равно игра выглядит красиво! Прокачка превосходна, инвентарь, кстати, очень похож на тот что был в 3 ведьмаке.     I'm totally into Cyberpunk.
    Witcher 3 was bored during the initial mission and couldn't go on until the end, but this work has a great sense of immersion from the beginning.
    It must be my taste.

    I played this on the ps5 and I Love this game so far, yes there are a few bugs such as pop ins, floating items, and invisible items/characters and crashes but they definitely aren’t game breaking and stop my enjoyment of the game, so far haven’t experienced much graphical issues, but besides that it’s honestly one of my favorite RPG’s. The gameplay, customization, world, graphics, combatI played this on the ps5 and I Love this game so far, yes there are a few bugs such as pop ins, floating items, and invisible items/characters and crashes but they definitely aren’t game breaking and stop my enjoyment of the game, so far haven’t experienced much graphical issues, but besides that it’s honestly one of my favorite RPG’s.     Been playing a ton since launch, cannot recommend this game enough! It’s drop dead gorgeous all throughout, makes me feel like I’m in a futuristic city, and the story and rpg mechanics are amazing so far. I honestly really appreciate the move to first person, really emphasizes the scale. Plus, conversations with npc’s are stunning! I have never felt so immersed in a conversation - the wayBeen playing a ton since launch, cannot recommend this game enough!     The story is a masterpiece, the graphics and the gameplay is excellent. I had a couple of minor bugs but it is ok. Of course I am playing the game on pc that is why I don't have problems.

The side quests are terrible grinding mess, there's no point in doing them for "better" ending.     I've got the hardware. I've got the time. I can handle bugs, and often think they're funny. But, 3 days after launch, you still cannot rebind the F key on PC. CDPR is so much better than this release, and this game could have achieved so much more... the time crunch and delays, plus dumbing down for last gen, really put the nail in the coffin on this one. RIP.

    Now that there's good, what are the bad things? Everything else surprisingly. The AI in the game is the worst I have ever seen. For example, there's no driving AI, every car is going from spawn point to end point. That's all, no variations. Enemy AI are also bad in combat, all they do is hide and shoot from time to time, which makes the gunplay unrewarding when you kill someone except for several cyberpsychos. Cops AI are also none existent. No cops will chase you because there's no driving AI, so you can just run easily even if you have 5 star crime. Do you know if you do a crime, the cops spawn out of literal thin air behind you, so there's no way to escape from cop by winning the gun fight. The more you shoot at them, the more spawn behind. ENDLESSLY!

    On top of that, there's glitches, a lot of glitches, even in main storyline. The driving mechanics is also really bad especially noticeable at turns, you will almost always hit something on turns. This also make quest you have to chase someone insanely difficult to do.

    Even quality of life feature such as being able to change appearance anytime you want (considering the whole theme of the game is that people can have any body they want), is missing, there's no key mapping for inventories, and maps. The insanely annoying dodge mechanic that you have to edit the config file yourself. It feels like they didn't put any effort at all.

    Verdict : The whole game need to be remade from ground up.    … Expand

I have a 3080, with no processor or RAM bottlenecks in sight. Game running at 80 FPS still looks terrible. Quests bug out and can't be finished, gun audio cuts out and breaks, objects appear out of nowhere,Game is broken and unfinished.     Sadly, not what was promised. PC optimization is poor and the city is nowhere near as interactive as promised. That being said, the story stands out for its gripping writing and acting. That, in addition to the gorgeous world, makes this game an 8/10

    I feel that people simply doesn't remember what **** was Witcher 3 on the launch day. CP2077 takes gamer in the terrific journey in the future. By now, 12.12.2020 we have already version 1.04 and I can except that most bugs will be fixed by end of january. CDPR should wait another 30 days with this launch. Bugs, bugs, bugs... oh why they doesn't fix the bugs? :/

    There are a lot of bugs, performance issues. For starters you have to tinker a bit with the controls in order to remove the sluggish feeling that they have by default. It's like there's a delay between input and response. But it's fixable, it just shouldn't be there.     The immersion is pretty poor, you don't really feel like you're playing a game, more watching some scenes in a row where sometimes you have input. There's an annoying scanner where you need to hold tab to find things to interact with. The AI can be terrible at times.

    Combat is basically Fallout without VATS, not very interesting, no new mechanics, just clunkily hack and slash. They did try to improve on Fallout's stealth and it's alright at times, but the AI needs an upgrade to make it challenging.

    You can customize your characters genitals, which is completely unnecessary. This just feels like an incomplete game released too soon (as is the industry standard these days...) with bought reviewers giving it corrupt scores (also an industry standard). There was just way too much Witcher 3 goodwill on this and it was completely squandered with a rushed, blade runner-esque fallout clone.

    Don't buy it, yet. After all, if "No Man's Sky" could be fixed, maybe this will be a good game in a year or two if the devs care to make the effort. Right now, it's not worth it.    … Expand

    Game of the decade, totaly new experience. Night City is a city full of life lots of interactive things and npcs, story is breathtaking. There are some quality issues abut iam able to play at 4k on my vega64 and i7 8th gen.

    The Street Rat first quest was written by a 5-year-old. Shockingly bad characters and nonsensical plot that just drags you by the nose.

    3. For the Bugs i think it is difference for each user, i'm using a high end PC and experience very little bug that it did not hinder my experience at all regarding crashes i only got 2 hard crashes is 28 hours of games.

    Overall a good RPG game and also a good FPS game but since this is a RPG game first and foremost i recommend it to RPG players and not FPS or Action game players

    B. Details:

    1. For the story although i have not reach the end of the main story i can feel that it will not be as long as The Witcher games but it ill be sufficient enough if you played it slow and really enjoy the story choices you makes and just from the first act i can already feel that choices have many impact to the main story either it will happen soon or still ways at the mid or end of the story and it will matter so you will not get the felling of pointless choices because yours choices will matter. Regarding side quest there are some that is just a basic ones that is there just to give you xp or in game resources a bit of lore for the world but there is also side quest that have either influenced to the main story or happen and available only because of your choices in the main story line.

    2. For the gameplay since this is a FPS RPG it may feels weird to some experienced RPG players but it is still enjoyable (e.g if you play skyrim only from FPS POV). First is the RPG elements it may not be as in debt as other pure RPG games but the elements is still there to make a good RPG experiences from the customisation options to skills and attributes that can be controlled with how you play the game just like any other RPG games. The RPG combat is a number game so there is no RNG what so ever which is good since this is also a FPS games so it is compatible so to say. Second is the FPS elements the closest comparison i can make is the FPS gameplay from borderland arcade style FPS combine with the realistic-ness of a modern FPS shooters, you might be worried that is will be bullet sponge because of the RPG element but you will not feel that way, for example for a headshot in a true bullet sponge enemy a headshot will not matter much because maybe no matter how many time you shoot the enemy in the head they won't die as long as the health is still many, but here a headshot have the combine effect of an RPG and realistic FPS because it counts if you hit it and effect it appropriately.

    3.Regarding the bug i will say that it is not as game breaking or as prevalent as the news or review implied, and it may vary from users and for the sake of this review i will say again i'm using a high end PC.
    First the visual/graphic bug, may other review or news outlet will say the visual bug is so visible that it sometimes mess with the immersive of the experience but i can say that the visual bug i get is nothing but just minor visual bugs and even less notable if you did not specifically look for one, for example maybe object collision, object or character clipping in the ground or wall and other visual bugs. Related to this maybe the UI bug, the only thing i experience with this one is when the map marker does not update following your point of interest.
    second is the game crashes, during the 28 hours of game i only experience to hard crashes both happen only when loading a saved game and continuing from main menu but i never had hard crashes during gameplay.

    In Summary Cyberpunk 2077 is a great RPG game and a good FPS game with great story elements and great gameplay and it will be a great experience to play it and i put it high among any other Story based RPG games that i liked    … Expand

If CDPR want to compete with Rockstar, they have a lot of work to do. Hundreds of millions of dollars and thousands of employees can't make up for poor game design.… Expand

    If you bought this game on console, you got your money stolen. If you have a base model PS4 or XBOX One you're screwed, as the game can dip to 15 fps. It's unplayable, and it's just unbelievable that it happened this way knowing CD PR. I feel betrayed.

    The game is really good. Some bugs can screw up ur experience, but the plot is f awesome. The guns feel pretty well. The vehicles in this game like the roach in witcher 3, the main gameplay aren't races or something. So I really enjoyed it.

    Playing on Xbox one and it’s absolutely ridiculous, I’ve lost count of how many times the frame rate drops to almost nothing or glitch through a wall or fall through the world.     Despite me not finished the game im already upset by this bust overhyped game. CD Project Red better spend half of PR-money on promised mechanics and unic experience. Yes, graphics probably the best. But gameplay even lamiest then Witcher. I am not even rely on bugs in my finsl rate

    I'm amazed at how bad this game is. It needed at least another 6 months of development. So much is missing... there is really no driver AI(reason cops don't drive and why cards just stop and don't try to get around obstacles), no character cosmetic changes after creation, crap weapons system, driving is bad, the "huge" city feels lifeless and dead, NPC interactions suck and are predictableI'm amazed at how bad this game is.     Sure, the game looks nice and the missions I've played so far have been very good. But that is about where the good parts end.

    It amazes me that CDPR was able to make Witcher 3 and screw this up so bad. GTA V and RDR2 are leagues ahead. Even GTA:SA is better than this.

    And then there is the godawful performance.

    I pray that this is similar to No Man's Sky where throughout the next year or two CDPR will release updates and patches that fix this and turn it from where it is now into something much better and much more lifelike and vivid.

    This game has the ability to be good, don't get me wrong. But it's gonna need a lot of hard work to get it up to where CDPR said it would be. The most ironic part of this whole thing is that if they had spent less time overhyping it and talking about features that were not feasible given the size of their team and had spent the time working on it and doing what they were capable of, this would be good. But they blew it by setting everyone's standards way higher than what they could achieve.

    Overall, I think the game is good if you don't care about the open world aspect of it. The quests are definitely good, and the graphics and detail of things are next to none. If that is all you care about, then this is the game for you. If you were looking for something among the lines of GTA V x Far Cry Blood Dragon x Fallout 4, then this is not the game for you in its current state.    … Expand

    I really wanted this game to be good. But technical issues aside, Night City is lifeless, there’s nothing of interest to do, AI is nonexistent, and I’m left frankly feeling lied to. You’d be better of playing Fallout 4 and if you squint hard enough, it might kinda look like a cyberpunk game while being a lot more fun. And I hated Fallout 4

    The game looks amazing and alive like none before. It's insane how densely packed the streets are and how vertical it is. The game delivers on its promise for me, I never expected it to be some kind of God send magic. I know programming and understand the developement of a software product, so seeing some glitches here and there is not a big issue for me.     A month late to release and still managed to CTD every time I finished the intro into Night City. No excuse for what was billed as a $80 AAA title. One of a small but elite club of games I actually collected a refund for. Don't waste your time or money.

    Really buggy. If you don't have a $2000 PC it will look really bad. The rest is nothing but a futuristic dystopian re-skinned GTA that forces you to play certain missions instead of letting you explore.

    I'm giving this game a 10, because when it WORKS the story and characters are amazing, it's been a long time since i've been invested in a games characters and world so hard. I just wish they polished this more.     Absolutely ridiculous! It doesn't mantain at least 30fps on PCs with recomended specs, not even on low settings. CDPR said that the game as at "gold state", but it's not even close to that. They simply lied to everybody. Don't buy this game now, wait some months of updates.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
