    Really good game I have played it to completion and only encountered one bug ik which trees would glitch through characters and buildings that all I had to do is edit the render distance and it was fixed i don’t understand why this game is getting reviewed bombed it’s a really good game and people should enjoy it. My favorite part of the game is Johnny silverhand and the bond that u form with him and the choice at the end of the game. Overall probably my second favorite game of 2020 behind ghost of tsushima. If u can run it on pc or have new gen consoles I would highly recommend getting it and experiencing it. If u have old gen or a pc that can’t run it I would wait for the bugs to get patched but every gamer should experience this game.… Expand

    1 - If you give 0-3 you are just butt-hurt because the game didn't live to your expectations or you have a potato PC and are mad (I'm reviewing the PC version, on some console versions I do understand concerns), and you are just giving and emotional response for the hate sake, you can have your opinion obviously but don't be unfair also...     2- If you gave a 10 you are probably a delusional fanboy in denial and cannot recognize that the game has serious flaws and is indeed undercooked.

    If you try to see the game in a more rational perpective you can see it is in fact a very good game, with potential of being a 9 (once its patched in, CDPR did it with Witcher 3, pretty sure they will do it again). I feel the game was rushed to launch due to the gaming community, shareholders, and console-makers pressuring CDPR launching the game. The result is a game that seems like a Beta of a very good game.

    If you have a gaming rig to tame this beast, it is a technical marvel, it simply looks amazing, never seen nothing like this, not even RDR 2. The immersion is surreal! For those who complain of the "edgy" looks, FFS it's a Cyberpunk game, being edgy is part of it.

    Story-wise I find it compelling and actually much more emotional and less edgy that I was expecting, 12 hours clocked in and I'm quite involved in the story!

    Technically wise, the NPCs do seem a little dumb, and not doing much, but again, where they doing that much more in other games? This is a RPG made in 2012-2020 not 2077, 98% of the population is scenario and the 2% are the characters important for the plots, and thats perfectly acceptable.

    The gameplay is solid in my opinion, with good gunplay (closer to an actual FPS than to Fallout), driving actually feels quite good and more realistic than GTA imho.

    My perspective is that we are in a "No Man's Sky" scenario, the game has the potential, and with future DLC and patches I really do feel it will live up to the hype...

    If you don't accept it you are being unreasonable, you can have your opinion, but i still does make you an idiot.

    Just to say in the end that I really pity the butt-hurt people (and console folks) because they spend money and now they are not enjoying the experience. So yeah guys I'm sorry for your experience, buy a PS5 and go play Miles Morales!

    - Optimization & performance problems when game released ( hopefully to be solved later) - RPG elements still not fully satisfying - Lack of philosophical background, would be even better when we had extinctional crisis like in Blade runner or in ghost in the shell but; it is game of the year because; - best living city design    Cons:

    Historically every CDPR game launch was VERY problematic. I have got what I wished for. This game is very emotional at some moments. Not many games gave me goosebumps so often. The world, the characters are very believable, the atmosphere and immersion, achieved by the sound design, music and graphics..     Genial story telling, fun mechanics, spectacular graphics. Haul over the bug fear mongering -- there are some hilariously buggy pearls, and never do they truly break the game. Imperfections in a diamond make it more real.

    One of the best game for last ten years. Yes, there are some bugs, but they aren't critical. There are few things that could be done better, but the game overall is brilliant.

    Plays great on my HP gaming laptop. I understand the console version has some issues, so I'm rating it from my point of view from my experience on my laptop. Amazing graphics and TONS of detail.

    It actually deserves 9/10 because there are no perfect games and Cyberpunk 2077 has some unfixed bugs as of now. However, those bugs are insignificant and not frequent. So bugs are not the main topic of discussion.
    Cyberpunk has a great story, great atmosphere, and real next generation graphics. I love this game no matter what others say!

    Use nvme ssd and almost all of your problems and bugs gonna vanish. Game is great, I love it, I enjoy it, it's 10 times better than tlou2 or ghost of tsushima. Graphics are Best - some characters and places look so photorealistic! Сюжет огонь, графика супер!

After ~12 hours of gameplay I can say that most of my expectations were met. The story, your impact on the world, the actors this is definitely the best of the best, without the doubt 10/10 only for that.

    The game continues to excite to the degree that a large portion in the beginning still feels like a tutorial when you're really just discovering new things at every turn. This makes for a steep-ish learning curve but for me it only adds to the experience of entering fresh into a new world, not knowing what to expect next. Exciting!

    I'm playing the game on a mid-tier PC and was a bit overwhelmed in the beginning by the contrasting bright lights and the murkier dark rooms throughout Night City. It did call for some gamma-adjusting at first (as well for toggling off some options to maintain FPS) but after that it ran very smooth.

    I sympathize with anyone who is at loss for the buginess of the game, and i have also had my fair share of bugs, but for me they have all been 'harmless' as of yet and didn't affect the overall feel of the gameplay. A studio as hard working as CDPR - who have always put the players first - deserves to be slightly imperfect at launch. Looking forward to see a great but more polished game when we've gotten a few updates.    … Expand

    This is for the PC version, so if you own a console get out.
    The story and RPG elements are perfect for me, but lacks as a open-world in terms of IA.
    At this point the game is a bit buggy, if CDPR continue to working on it and add quality stuff to make the game better then its a 10/10.
    But for now we must wait.

    I completely don’t understand „0-1” ratings. Sure it’s not GTA or COD. It’s something new and fresh. Trying to compare CP to something you have played before is a huge mistake. It’s a s-f masterpiece where you can dive in for long hours.

    Game is amazing for me and I've played 12 hours with 10 very minor bugs. The gunplay is really fun, the stealth and hacking was good, driving is eh but cars look cool, melee is fun and main+side stories are great. And I only assume it'll get better with more levels and skills.but but I'm gonna warn you pls wait for this game to get optimised better

    I personally think that this game doesn't deserve all those negatives reviews. Must be hard optimizing such a detailed game on 7 years old consoles. I'm now at approximately 40 hours into the game and the only bugs I've seen are funny and didn't prevent me from progressing into this awesome game. Would highly recommend this game !

    OK, the bugs are heavy (NPCs popping in, etc.), and undoubtedly CDPR will rush to improve them, but - damn, the playability! Leave what you're doing right now and start playing.

    The game is just great! Very lively characters, excellent voice acting, and attention to details. A very addictive and interesting world. I absolutely did not expect anything from the game, so it impressed me greatly!)

    Anyone who hates the game hasn't even played it. Just download and play this masterpiece! it's worth it!)

    When this game works its great. I play on a pretty high end computer and have personally experienced few bugs or glitches. Those i do encounter are mostly animation or item popping, which can be tiresome, but definitely not game breaking. As stated, when the game works at its full potential its a fantastic game.     Played on pc so I cant speak for promlems on console but my experience has been great. Some of the best writing and characters in a peice of media in a long time. The big beautiful world is packed with things going on and feels alive. The combat in the beginning is slow but on harder difficulties and after getting some skills it picks up greatly and comboing hacking and shooting isPlayed on pc so I cant speak for promlems on console but my experience has been great.     The game has it's unique atmosphere. Action, music, scenario. Everything is great. I don't even want to talk about bugs. If you played Skyrim, Witcher 3, Rdr2 on release date and also you are sane gamer, you understand that this things are fixable by patches and it's just question of time.

    Honestly, I consider this game to be a masterpiece and it’s the best atmosphere, immersion and fun I’ve experienced in the last decade. Certainly, it was made with soul and with time CDPR will pour all the love into it, solving every launch problem and improving it further. Can’t wait to see the DLCs and Multiplayer version of this game in the future.

There are few bugs but it wasn't annoying, some of them were too funny that I could not stop laughing for hour. My game crushed maybe 3/4 times but I don't give a **** This game looks amazing, gameplay is amazing, city is huge and full of life. I really don't understand people who complains about how the game looks on theirs PS4(slim/standard) because it makes no sense at all to buy a game created in 2020 and try to play it on console from 2014/2015. And to people who complain about that the game have been created since 2012 and they have not done good game in 8 years. It was teaser and they started creating this game in 2016/2017 after they release last dlc to witcher 3 and repaired all the bugs. CDPR is not huge company, this game was created by around 1k people. You don't remember Witcher 3 and so many bugs in it? NO, YOU DON'T BECAUSE YOU BOUGHT ALREADY GOOD GAME AFTER A YEAR .… Expand

    Perfect game. Cyberpunk 2077 is a very interesting experience. I'd like to preface this by saying that I'm a major fan of the CDPR from The Witcher series, played all of them several times. They are all 10/10s in their own rights, but Cyberpunk 2077 is very different in some respects and also very similar

However, I think the gaming community needs to adjust how they "review" things. The game is a 10 out of 10 easily. Im fortunate enough to play on a series X. If people were reviewing this game based on the actual game itself no doubt it'd be all 9s and 10s from everyone. Truly I am floored by this game. I can't be salty about the poor user score because again I understand the frustration but man cyberpunk is a huge testiment to what videogames are and can be. That being said if you do not have a next gen console or PC w good specs do not buy this game, as it is running so terribly on the old stuff. Again, not CDPR's fault. It really was worth the wait and still worth waiting for if you plan to upgrade. Lastly I think its important to mention that when they do iron out all the bugs and stuff and say it's in it's "final build" I can not see this game running well on the old gen hardware. It's very much a current gen game through and through. Ive never wrote a review for a game let alone go this hard in a review for anything so this is no doubt a nuts experience. (for me at least :D)

    A lot of people are giving this game a ton of hate. And there are some bugs and technical issues. But my streets in night city are bustling and full of life and the graphics look amazing. I am playing on an xbox one x and I am enjoying this game a ton. I believe cdpr will pull through with patches and free dlcs to make cyberpunk as memorable as the witcher 3

    I love this game, beautiful graphics and story. I didn’t see many bugs, and if I notice some they didn’t bother me. I’d say this is the only game I was actually looking forward to this year! Love it!

    Amazing game! I had been wishing for a game that had Bladerunner 2055 and old Swartznegger Total Recall. If you are giving this game a bad score solely based on your poor performing hardware then I understand your pain. This game is Amazing on PC

    I'm not a big fan of games set in the 'future' but this game gave me so much fun (shooting is amazing). And this feeling when u explore night city is really breathtaking. On strong pc it's also very stable. No crashes etc. I experienced few bugs as everyone did but they are fixable and gameplay overshadows them all. Some fixes and it will be even more immersive.

    I do not tend to review games, but I am reviewing this one because I believe many of the current reviews (Dec 12th, 2020) are unfair. Many of the issues seem to stem from the optimization or bugs.

    Optimization: This game was launched with GPUs like the 30 series in mind. Do not get mad when you cannot run this at max settings with an older GPU, you would be stupid to do so. It would be like getting mad that you cannot run a game made for a PS4 on a PS3 with max settings. Accept that as tech and games progress your system many not be able to run every game at max settings and move on or upgrade. If you cannot run the game well enough to satisfy yourself on your own system but have solid internet and 5$ a month, use NVIDIA Geforce Now. It is worth it.

    Bugs: So far 33 hrs in, I have encountered some minor visual bugs such as a lighter appearing as floating, a gun appearing in a hand when it shouldn't during a cutscene, and similar issues. I have never encountered any game-breaking bugs (those that would soft-lock the game) or major bugs of any kind. I do not believe that the minor visual bugs I have encountered detract from the game.

    Best video game I've played in years. It has some bugs and I've crashed it a couple times. I'm playing it in the original xbox one, and I expected it to have some problems. Other than that, the games store is amazing. The player choice is off the walls. The smoothness of aiming a gun play is perfect for my play style. The character customization really needs to be re-done. You can customize your genitals but you only have 12 options for a hair and 6 options for a nose. Only a set number of options for anything you can customize no color wheels no size adjusters just set choices. The customization is lacking and I hope they change it in the future. The skilled trees are ginormous. The skill points in skill tree points help keep the game individually very apparent. The amount of guns and cars in the game are astonishing and the different kinds of people you interact with throughout the game NPCs of all kinds are diverse and very interesting. You can talk to literally anyone whether they will actually want to talk to you as the question. You can see people talking and you can walk up and snoop on their conversation. The cyberpunk body mods are so cool so much you can add to your character and customize. Boss fights don't feel like a traditional boss fight feels like you've just come across a very tough guy makes it feel more realistic. Don't get me wrong the boss fights are still as difficult as a normal boss fight they just don't look or feel like a standard Zelda or kingdom hearts boss fight. Overall the game has literally a 100,000 hours or more of repayability in it. if you like fallout Skyrim or any of the other Bethesda titles I bet you cyberpunk 2077 will be your next go to RPG. It has so much to offer I've probably barely scratched the surface just playing the hours that I've played. I'm giving this game a 5 out of 5 stars, because even with a little bit of errors, glitches and bugs that do see the game still outperforms all of those issues with its story, characters, role-playing, free roam, and pure and utter freedom to choose what you want to do. All that makes this game the best one I've seen in my life. I can't even put it down when I come home after work. I stay up all night playing until I have to go to bed cuz I'm too tired to stay awake.… Expand

    It's a really good game despite what others might be saying at the moment. The atmosphere is unmatched and storyline along with quests are among the very best you could find in any production. It's got its issues, sure, but they don't take away from the experience and will be fixed in a matter of weeks.

    Need to increase performance in some areas. Its laggy in some outdoor places. The story and the graphics though are just amazing. Its CPU limited even on a 9th Gen i7. Am sure its going to get better. I hope. Graphics and story are amazing. Has a few glitches here and there which I hope gets rectified soon. Giving it an 9 right now. Will increase once bugs and performance is fixed. Hopefully.

Few minor graphical ones, one T-posing enemy and invisible hair in the mirror but nothing gamebreaking.     Combat is decent, not fluid like a FPS but with an absolute ton of options. Want to play as a goon who pulverizes opponents with her bare fists? You can do that. As a futuristic techno-sniper? Yup, you can do that.to. You can play as a tank, a ninja, a netrunner, a terminator, an explosives expert, or even my personal choice as a pacifist who blends elements of other styles. The styles and specializations are endless, and many of them generate unique content which encourages you to play the game multiple times to see it all.

    Another thing that has to be mentioned is the vibrancy of Night City. I have never seen a game with so much going on. The city is packed with people just living their lives. They go to work, hang out with their friends, head out to the clubs. Just living their lives, and so many of them have little storylines going on that you can eavesdrop on by listening to their conversations. Just walking around and people watching is practically a mini-game. It all adds to that immersive feeling that you are living in a real city.

    There are some bugs, but I wouldn't let that stop you from playing. Most are visual and the majority I encountered were fixed in the first few days with patches. I haven't crashed at all and only had one broken side mission bug which was fixed as well. My opinion is that the bugs are a consequence of how ambitious the game is; trying to create a AAA title this massive and complex means you could either decide to accept that you will have to release the game with some rough edges or scale back the game to the point where polishing is a more manageable task given the release time restrictions. Personally, I'd rather have the rough edges that gradually get fixed than lose that ambitious depth, but YMMV.

    The bottom line for me is that this is an RPG game, which means it's about the story and being able to mold that story with my choices, which the game succeeds at perfectly. The bugs are unfortunate, but I think that the story and depth of play more than compensate for some temporary annoyances. Just follow the mantra of "save now, save often" and the impact until they're fixed should be minimized. That way you can focus on the story and gameplay, which are awesome.    … Expand

    I use PS4 PRO. There are bugs in the game, but the developers fix them. Overall, I'm happy with the game. Many players act like hysterics. If the game is not playable at all, Sony will refund the money. But if you have two or three mistakes during the session - take it easy, for heaven's sake. Panicking like demons in the church.     I love the deep connections you can have with other characters who have their own beliefs, motivations, fears and desires. The story is emotional, exciting and your choices really matter. Who you choose to be there for and care for will impact who is there and cares for you.

    Throughout the game there were moments I felt emotionally connected. The story is exceptional. I had hoped it to be longer, besides the main story you will still be able to continue your adventure but it does feel a little disconnected from there. The ending was my least favorite moment in the game, even when there are multiple outcomes I don’t understand how after the main story the DLC will continue from that point.

    After 80 hours in, I still find it hard to stop playing Cyberpunk 2077. It has some bugs and oddities in the UX, but this won’t break your experience to a point that is currently told in reviews. For me this is one of the best games I’ve ever played in my life. It has surpassed any expectations I had. I really hope we get to see more story and diverse features in the upcoming DLC.    … Expand

    Sure, the game has some bugs and doesn't run well on old-gen consoles, but that shouldn't make your review as low as it is. There's so many more aspects to this game other than graphical issues or bugs. It's an intricate and very enjoyable story-driven RPG to heart. Stop acting like it isn't.

    i have a 13 year old pc, in that time ive upgraded the graphics card to a gtx 970 and the ram from 4 gig to 8 gig. The cpu is an intel i5 quad core overclocked to 4.5 mhz. Ive barely got into cyberpunk but running on high with a few tweaks and it seems to play ok.
    My wife bought me a ps5 for xmas so it will be interesting to see how it performs on that system.

But the amount and detail of all these side missions is what makes this game a true masterpiece. If you want, you can rush through the main story in 15-20 hours. But you will miss the best parts of the game. I needed about 70 hours until I saw the credits for the first tame but still I had to come back to see more of the stories of Night City and to unlock more (and totally different) endings to the main story.

I appreciate there are some elements missing from the game (but as everyone has heard officially, there will be 2 big patches) but considering what has been achieved here, its awesome. I highly recommend this game and indeed, FPS is a perfect 60' good on my PC ,CD Projekt14+ Hours in and I'm still enjoying the game on start history. As a console player, you should be accustomed to low fps cap (e.g. Bloodborne, where fps can easily go below 10 during boss battles). Do yourself a favor and save up for a decent machine to experience all this game has to offer.

    About bugs - the most frustrating bug I experienced during my 200 hours with Cyberpunk is when a quest character was killed, even though he was supposed to be invincible, which made me replay like 10 minutes of the game.     The story has been good so far the bugs are pretty apparent but can also be fixed with future updates that I know cd project red will keep their word on. Sometimes you hit a snag in the story where you do repetitive **** but it's pretty good and I think it will be fixed in the future to be fully enjoyable.

Enemy AI is probably the most disappointing element, but it feels like that can be improved a lot with inevitable patching.

    CDPR have definitely got something special here and it's a shame they had to push it out with so little polish - because despite that it is a fun ride on a decent pc.    … Expand

    Bueno, primero es inegable que el juego no estaba terminado del todo en el aspecto de pulido se refiere, los bugs son muy molestos algunos, el rendimiento despues de parche que sacaron a los dias del lanzamiento arreglo un poco el rendimiento y anda mucho mas fluido.

    En cuanto a la narrativa, me parece un juego muy bueno en cuanto a ello, las misiones secundarias del juego    Bueno, primero es inegable que el juego no estaba terminado del todo en el aspecto de pulido se refiere, los bugs son muy molestos algunos, el rendimiento despues de parche que sacaron a los dias del lanzamiento arreglo un poco el rendimiento y anda mucho mas fluido.

    En cuanto a la narrativa, me parece un juego muy bueno en cuanto a ello, las misiones secundarias del juego perfectamente podrian haber sido misiones principales de otros juegos, muy disfrutable con el conjunto de mejoras que le puedes hacer a tu psj con cada subida de nivel y todo eso, a nivel de jugabilidad los bugs nublan un poco eso pero en si es buena, el manejo de los vehiculos si debo decir que es algo malo salvo por el "porsche 911 carrera turbo" que tiene un manejo por lejos de lo mejor del juego, pero tambien una cosa mala es por ejemplo que no existe un modo para personalizar tus autos, con 8 años de desarrollo no barajar un aspecto asi es como meeh cuando tienes tiendas de comida por todos lados las cuales en mi opinion son un desproposito, por que la comida la pillas tirada en todos lados literal y ademas no te dan un plus en nada, no es que debas de comer constantemente para no morir o algo por el estilo como para tener tantas en el mapa, en las 100 hrs aprox que jugue nunca me toco comprar nada de comida por que en las mismas misiones te pillas por doquier consumibles, bueno esas tiendas perfectamente podrian haber sido por ejemplo talleres mecanicos para personalizar tu auto y por ejemplo tus partes mecanicas ya que estamos, tambien la nula opcion de cambio de look posteriormente a que te creas tu personaje, muchas veces quise cambiar un poco el estilo pues me entere que no... y es un poco ilogico que no puedas cambiar tu corte de pelo pero si puedes ir a ponerte unos brazos de gorilla y unas pantorillas hidraulicas...

    Но самое главное, что суть игры вышла очень захватывающей: мир очень проработан, диалоги интересные (юбикам у cd pr учиться и учиться), сюжет не банальный. В общем, это идеальный иммёрсив сим. Deus Ex на максималках.

    This game is cool,but everyone knows about optimization and bugs,but in a respect of CDPR (because of Witcher 3) i will not mention,so about the game:
    -Main Story with unique narrative , and not bad story

    Gameplay 10/10

    VA and Dialogue 10/10
    OpenWorld 10/10
    But Optimization and Bugs 5/10
    it has bugs and poor optimization but they are working on it and bugs are nothing compared to Amazing Story and Gameplay

    But we have one of the best open world game.
    We have tons of content, places, characters, weapons, vehicles, clothes. A lot of different side missions. And the main story it’s pure gold. All the content and deep narrative overcome the minor issues, as bugs and some popping. Is worth to mention that this game does not try to satisfy all the    Yeah, it’s buggy and needs to be polish.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
