    Played on PC. So far I have had a positive experience with this game. That is because going in, while I was hyped I kept 3 things in mind. 1. This is a brand new IP for CDPR. 2.CDPR's first FPS/RPG looter shooter. 3. A lot of the Quality Control stuff happened in the middle of an pandemic. So my expectations were a little lowered. I feel for those that have consoles but since I did notPlayed on PC. So far I have had a positive experience with this game. That is because going in, while I was hyped I kept 3 things in mind. 1.     Pro:
    Great Story with various elements targeted for a wide arrange of ADULT audiences.
    Deep Character Appearance and Skill Customization
    Multiple Ways to tackle any mission.
    Smooth Driving Mechanic (much better that the first Watch Dogs)
    Great Graphics
    Cons:
    PC graphics setting set to highest no matter the rig by default.
    Bugs that can occur while navigating during battle that will make you unable to move.
    Bugs getting stuck in walls and npc's walking though walls.
    Other MISC bugs.

    The Bugs keep this game from being a masterpiece. While somewhat disappointed I look forward to what is next from CDPR    … Expand

    the game and good I'm enjoying the story I'm playing in ryzen 5 with rx570 with a media of 38 frames and I know that my configuration is not and the best that i have not suffered any bug that affects the story although I've seen some but I'm enjoying the game

    A very ambitious game. Its pushing the limits of what 7yo tec can do. The fact ps4 and Xbox1 can play this should be appreciated. This is really a next gen game. If your having issues adjust your settings. I'm currently playing on ps4 pro and did have to trim the effects down a bit to improve. Also keep in mind covid.     As of writing this while having 20 hours in the game I really enjoy playing it. Noting that there are certain optimisation problems and minor visual bugs it hasn't stopped me from enjoying the game.

    I think overall the game is fun and different compared to other RPG games (which are very few).
    I score it 8 for PC not for consoles (Just to be clear).

    Cyberpunk 2077, a game that's been hyped up for almost 8 years straight. And what does it deliver?
    In all honesty it's a great game when it works (more on that in just a second) but the story in itself is surprisingly well thought out and delivers a. Playing the game your going to make small dialogue choices, and while at first it seems these choices don't make that much of a    The Good:
    Cyberpunk 2077, a game that's been hyped up for almost 8 years straight. And what does it deliver?
    In all honesty it's a great game when it works (more on that in just a second) but the story in itself is surprisingly well thought out and delivers a. Playing the game your going to make small dialogue choices, and while at first it seems these choices don't make that much of a difference, in some way or another they do. I was able to ask my friends, hey how did you do this mission here and how did it turn out, and usually we might have different experiences on how a certain mission might have played out.

    The Characters that you meet throughout the game also have a tendency to feel as if they were real people, and even if a mission sounded boring on paper, I was usually pleasantly surprised with how these stories would often turn out. It honestly felt really nice building relationships with certain characters and watching how their stories would unfold.

    Gameplay wise, while not the best thing in the world, it does get the job done. Shooting is okay, just don't go in expecting to be playing Call of Duty. At the beginning of the game, your enemies are essentially bullet sponges, and you might die a lot if your not the proper level. On the bright side of things, the game really shines when it comes to the rpg elements. Like any game, the more you level up the more easier the game becomes. However, what cyberpunk does differently is that while their are skill points you can use to level up a certain stat, the more you use a certain skill, the more better you become at that skill. So for instance if you decide to use a lot more stealth in a certain mission, you will notice your "Cool" stat starts to increase.

    The Bad:
    The UI in this game sucks. I'm sorry, but its super clunky and very annoying to move around in. The game gives you only 3 weapons that you can hold onto at a time, however this quickly becomes annoying when you run out of ammo for all your guns and now you have to find your way to the inventory to grab another gun, only to realize that new gun you just grabbed is also out of ammo. There needs to be a quick access function for your weapon inventory, and you should be told how much ammo you have for that particular weapon.

    The Map is way too cluttered way to early on in the game. There is a lot to do in this game with all of it's side gigs and side missions along with the main quest. However all these activities clutter up the map and it's hard to figure out where is what exactly. Speaking of side quests, the game's journal is simply just a list of missions you have available with a vague description of what that job is going to be. This becomes very annoying and cluttered, once you start gathering a bunch of missions, seriously did we need 6 different entries for all 6 Delamine Vehicles that we had to retrieve??

    The game is almost always in first person, and the only time where you have the option to really change your perspective is when it comes to driving. Driving in Night City is okay at best, and I'd recommend driving in third person in this game, as almost no game can seem to get first person driving to feel right. The only exception being is motorcycle riding. I honestly had a blast riding my motorcycle around town and exploring night city. So why is this in the bad section? The mini map is way too zoomed in, and might work better if it was placed on the bottom corners of the map. Too many times I find myself either missing a turn, or crashing myself into a car or a pedestrian.

    Speaking of Night City, it's honestly disappointing how beautiful this city is, yet there's only so little you can do in this city. Sure there are side missions you can do throughout the game. But as for just having fun in night city there's no arcades to play games, food to eat, hell can't even dance at the clubs. I do have hope these are added in the future

    The Ugly:
    While I myself haven't had too many bugs, it's no secret that this was a really buggy release. If I'm being honest with you, I think this game should have released in 2021. Often a bug will break your immersion, or in some cases for some people, ruin the whole experience by not even working. It's disappointing to me, as this game had potential to be very good, but a really bad release may have ruined that. I do have hope, that by as of next year, all these launch issues would be resolved.

    Tldr: Great game with great RPG elements, however it needs some work with it's cluttered UI system, the game is only disappointing with the amount of bugs it has.

    I definitely would say to wait on this game, and to purchase it after all these issues have been remedied .    … Expand

    Yeah there are some bugs, but none enough that has caused me any dissatisfaction. The writing is top notch, the gameplay us solid and really captures the look and feel of the Cyberpunk genre. I highly recommend this title to everyone who enjoys sci fi and rpg's.

    This game has turned me off from reviews altogether given that the majority of criticism comes from reviews done before the game's day one patch. If you want to wait for polish then fine. But bugs were pretty much non-existent in my play through (PC-2060S GPU).
    If you loved the Witcher games then this is an amazing improvement in that style of game.     If you loved the Witcher games then this is an amazing improvement in that style of game. Over time, the Witcher3 game grew to earn its standing as one of the best RPG games every made but it there is a huge audience that it is not a good fit for. And that is fine. But if you like the Witcher series then do yourself a favor and give Cyberpunk a try at some point. Don't fall into the reviewer's trap of loving it because of hype or hating it because of anti-hype.    … Expand

    Great overall extremely well done and for those people crying about bugs just be patient ever game has bugs and later would be fixed. we shouldn't base our reviews on temporarily bugs instead focus on the game itself.

    Great game, great story, interesting world and characters, decent gunplay. This game got everything to be one of the best RPG's of all time.

    But -1 for bugs and -1 for poor optimization. This hopefully will be resolved soon so the game is a 9 or even a 10.

    Those extra hypes on the game devastated the real value of the game so without those hypes, I can easily say that Cyberpunk 2077 is an excellent game with the main story and side quest. GJ from CDPR. However, they have to fix some critical bugs -don't need to fix it all because this is a game so bugs always come up-

    Great Game. in 3 days playing I had only small issues with bugs (eg. could not pick up an item). graphics run amazingly great on PC. You get to experience every emotion. Story is great. I absolutely love everything about it.

    The story gameplay and voice acting in this game are all top notch. Unfortunately I think it would have served CD Project Red best to just delay the game for a few more months, and deal with the blow back.     Personally, I play on a high-end pc and my experience has been amazing. There have been barely any bugs and the few I've seen were visual. I understand the concerns of console players, but from my perspective, the game has been great. I love the open world, characters, story, and gameplay.

    In the first 48 hours of plying, does it have some bugs? Yea. Somethings that could use improvement? Sure. Am I having a blast playing it, enjoying multiple storylines, and happy with my purchase? Absolutely.

    Great story and characters, on 7 year old hardware doesn't look so good, however on a series x, ps5, or pc the game is beautiful and the new patch today fixed tons of bugs

    Masterpiece, I am surprised by the level of depth in the technical section, graphics, sound, story, characters, setting, etc. I would say that this game is a candidate for Game of the Century without a doubt. I've been playing it for more than 15 hours on PC with an RTX 2060 6GB, Intel Core i7 6700, 16GB RAM, SSD Sata. and I go from 40 to 60 fps with everything in ultra, Raytracing on,Masterpiece, I am surprised by the level of depth in the technical section, graphics, sound, story, characters, setting, etc. I would say that this game is a candidate for Game of the Century without a doubt. I've been playing it for more than 15 hours on PC with an RTX 2060 6GB, Intel Core i7 6700, 16GB RAM, SSD Sata. and I go from 40 to 60 fps with everything in ultra, Raytracing on, DLSS in quality mode on, depth of field off, blur off. I can say that I am satisfied technically, obviously there are bugs as in all games but they are not relevant. Now the console versions (XBOX One and PS4) may not be the same as on PC... Come on, we know they are more than 8 years old... You can't ask for a game so ambitious and innovative like this to look good and run good if you have that old hardware...

    Sry, the game is awesome, of course it has a lot of bugs, but its okey, they are not critical. I will put 10/10 because of the emotion that i get in the ending. I LOVE YOU CD PROJECT RED.

Sure there's tons of bugs, some of you are experiencing a huge open world w/brain dead npcs, and even more bought in on older consoles and they weren't transparent about those ports being less than stellar. None of that means the game is bad or even deserves a 0.

    The game's not perfect and I even think in 6 months all the kinks will get worked out, but a couple things.

    -NPCs: with a world this big do you really believe every NPC will be special/memorable? Look at any other open world. NPCs are there to fill it...nothing more. You all expected way too much.

    -I wonder if some of you played through other buggy games at launch (Skyrim, Witcher 3, etc.) and gave them a pass because you enjoyed it. Nothing wrong w/a fun game w/some rough edges. Played through many myself.

    As for my review: Still enjoying it. There's too much to do. Not a lot for some of you, but I don't have all the time in the world to sit in 100 hour games. 20-50 is cool with me and I'm not even there yet. Melee sucks, but comes with the territory. Might have been better in Third Person, but we're here now, buckle in. I'm super in awe of the world and it's play by the book Cyberpunk, tropes included, and I'm ok w/that.

    Basically my expectations were met because I didn't have too much hype going in. It's a buggy mess, but not to the extent that the reviews here portray. All in all 8/10.    … Expand

    Best dam game ever, expectations met. It been a while since I got so into a game I even began reading the lore in it and guides on how everything I missed works. Even when I finish the main story I will be still playing this game for a good while.

    I can't wait for DLCs later on.

This game has been launched too early but it may be a fault of ourselves - players as we were hyped too much. I don't like loot generation, some improvement to inventory interface is needed.     From my point of view technically the game works really good - I had no issues with bugs
    Gameplay is awesome, maybe viehacles handling isn't as good as I imagine.

    Great game! I am really enjoying the main story in CyberPunk 2077. I have not ran into any game breaking bugs. It is a beautiful game and it's amazing the amount of detail put into every inch of the map. I highly recommend it.

    Great game on a PC with a 10700k and a RTX 3080. Its a bit buggy, but so was the witcher 3 at launch. I'd give it a 9 but a 10 here since peeps are giving it a 0 cause it won't run well on their GTX 560. If you don't have a nice rig run 1080p and enjoy it or if you have a console, just wait till you can get a PS5 or Xbox Series X. At least by the time you can the bugs will be fixed.

    About 15 hours in and I’m having an amazing time. It’s exactly what I wanted, being a massive fan of th Witcher and both Bladerunner movies. Yeah the specs are high but for me with a 2080 Super the game looks beautiful. Just turn off ray tracing!

    Es un gran juego y se nota que es next-gen CDProyect se esmero en los detalles e imnersion la historia no esta nada mal , el gameplay ni que decir, me gusto la animacion de los rostros altura de un juego next-gen, la ciudad es hermosa , si bien pudo ser mejor aun pero al parecer si les falto tiempo. Una lastima para las personas de las consolas de antigua generacion sufriendo la malaEs un gran juego y se nota que es next-gen CDProyect se esmero en los detalles e imnersion la historia no esta nada mal , el gameplay ni que decir, me gusto la animacion de los rostros altura de un juego next-gen, la ciudad es hermosa , si bien pudo ser mejor aun pero al parecer si les falto tiempo.     This game is a recent game, if the game runs bad it's because your PC is too old, that's it, you should've read the pc requirements provided by CDPR, because the game runs perfectly on a PC from 4-5 years ago.

    Players that finds the world empty should explore more, and they shouldn't wait for big markers on the map, the world is actually very rich.
    Yeah the main story is short, but all the content is in very good the side quests that focuses on certain character, i really enjoy playing them.

    It has some downsides:
    - AI is dumb (like in every recent game)
    - Cars aren't the different from each other (it's not a car game)
    - Few bugs but easily fixable, i trust CDPR on that.

    They could've delay it a bit more but atm it's a masterpiece for me, i enjoy playing it, i have 30 hours on it and can't wait to get back on it    … Expand

    I really enjoyed the game, the gunplay in incredibly fun and addicting. The characters are very engaging. The game looks beautiful even at lowest setting.
    But still I can't give this game a 10/10 for the following reason:

    In the game it's impossible to rebind the "interact/select" button which is set to F by default, this is a big problem for me because in videogames I usually use the numpad and not wasd.
    Also, the game has really bad performance issues, I need to mention it even if it doesn't bother me personally.


    I still think this game deserves a good rating, it has problems but I'm sure CDPR will fix them in the future.    … Expand

    Great game so far, story is amazing and the world feels alive with so many things, the themes in the game are really well written. Encountered a few bugs here and there but nothing game breaking at all, just a few visual bugs and will most likely be patched out sooner than later. Driving feels a bit meh but other than that the game provides a great story

    Special fighting and skill trees and one of the best new worlds created in games to the day. But lots of bugs and unpolished things don't let me to give 9 score. It's obvious the game is rushed and forced to release.we hope for good support and a good line of dlc to clear the bad feelings.

    This game does have its bugs and dips on fps at some parts of the city to 44 but in general didnt keep me from playing it had so much fun and enjoyed every single part of the combat and stori driving wasnt the best, graphics are also pretty good on pc

    The game still need many improvements, manly in the menu and inventory management, the fighting AI, still many bugs to fix, things that can easily be done with time, but the cyberpunk rpg is the best I ever seen, it makes you fill part of the story, is the type of game that you play slowly wishing to never end.
    Hope that I will be back in review after 6 months to give what this game really deserve a 10.    … Expand

    If it wasn't for all the release problems of this game, bugs, lags and etc. I'd have given this game 10/10 because of the story and the atmosphere that are breathtaking. The game's so interesting that you somehow continue playing it despite all the bugs you face which is why you should consider playing it maybe not now but in a month or two when most of them are fixed.

    The game is very beautiful, it has a very good narrative and strong characters, the melee combat could use a bit of polishing but bo complaints about the gunplay. Unfortunately the bugs and a quite bad AI hold back the full imersion and experience this game can offer, i'm sure these issues will be fixed but it is still quite dissapointing.

    Despite some minor visual glitches and bugs, Cyberpunk almost lives up to the loft expectations set upon it. Particular game mechanics e.g. driving, police AI and interactivity in the environment could be improved I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Night City.

    I've been very fortunate to not have had many issues on the base PS4. Aside from a few crashes after certain segments, I'm enjoying myself. Looking forward to seeing what this becomes on the PS5.

    Probably will be one of the best games of this generation, but only after the company fix the bugs, crashes and optimize the game to all platforms. Anyway, is a great game and dense Rpg... Great history and a huge elements to you explore, especially the map with side quests and other activities to do.

    Look yeah, it is buggy as **** but that doesn't mean it deserves to get review bombed. CDPR has already released a 17 GB patch and more on the way. And if you look past the bugs, it's an incredibly entertaining game with a great RPG system, great combat and a great story

    I know people have been having issues with the game, but my experience has been amazing. I’ve played on PC for 45.7 hours and have had no crashes, and haven’t run into any game breaking bugs. I know it’s not like this for everyone playing but I can’t create a rating for others only myself.

    Great game. Minimal bugs on my end, a few visual glitches that are to be expected in a game this size. Gameplay is excellent after over 24 hours in, story and characters have excellent personality.

    There are a lot of bugs but in MOST cases its not gamebreaking, but in some it is and then you have to reload a file or restart the game... but the rest... its a stunning world, and a very cool story, I played for a about 40 hours now and I really really really enjoy it! but I also understand people that give this game a mixed review because the bugs and graphics can be super frustrating.

    Buggy yet beautiful. While the game lacks a certain level of polish that the pre-launch media presented it has no doubt achieved it's purpose of being a heavily story-driven RPG based in cyberpunk future.

    Obviously the big complaint everybody has is bugs but lets be honest here.. No game comes out bug-free any more so I'm going to rate the game bugs aside. The story is great, the world is incredible, gun-play and RPG mechanics are great.

    Despite the large amount of bugs I found myself still enjoying the game as the world, characters and gameplay are quite unique and really pull you in with a solid story. The bugs will be fixed eventually but they do hinder the game a lot.

    The game is good. I have not had any major problems with bugs or something. It’s nice to know the story, the gunfight is good, it’s looks pretty. The city is alive but the NPCs doesn’t have a good IA. If you are afraid of the bugs just wait a little bit to buy it. But it sure is a must play game.

    Plays smooth with max settings on ryzen3600 nvidia2070. You end up seeing a glitch or stupid bug once an hour or so. When the game's patched to solve them, it'll be a 10/10.
    Just don't bother playing it on ps4 or xbox one.

    It is my new favorite game! Best part about this game is for sure story telling. There are many great written characters, and lots of interesting stories. City looks amazing but sometimes it feels empty (lack of activity's involving it). As you probably know the game is full of bugs.     Yes there are bugs, however, none of them were consequential. (floating items after cutscenes and nonsense like that).
    The ambience is amazing, feeling dwarfed by mega towers, while running through the makeshift cabins of the poor folk at the bottom. No matter where you look, it's brimming with life. All the regions have their characteristic cultural look and feel.
    As CDPR said, the world doesn't revolve around the player, in the greater scheme of things the players actions are dwarfed by the corpo power and the gangs that run the streets, you're just along for the ride and scraping by.
    This game isn't for everyone, but for the people that love Cyberpunk and roleplaying games, I think it's currently second to none.
    Regarding the rough state of the game: yea, it has bugs, yes it feels unfinished, but ultimately, the same was the case for games like Skyrim and the witcher 3.
    The real question is, is the game fun regardless, and my answer is a clear cut HELL YEA!

    For people with lower end systems, or that are easy irritated by small bugs, maybe wait a few weeks or months, optimization and bug fixing is in progress, I received 2 or 3 patches already.    … Expand

    This game is worth every dollar spent and every day of waiting, and it does not have perfect optimization, but it will get better with patches, as it was with Witcher 1, 2 and 3. The game has an amazing storyline and millions of little things that will surely hook and interest you. It may not be 10/10, but 9/10 more than deserves, and +1 point for all hate comments 0/10.

    Ok, there are bugs in the newly released game. But overall, the story is just great, and I don‘t regret my purchase. So glad the game is finally available. Made my day. (Playing on a PC)

    The game is good when you put the bugs aside. I played for 17 hours and encountered only 3 bugs. When I got out of the brain dance on a mission, the car was overturned, when I got into the car I got into the NPC inside the car, when you drive fast when the car crashes somewhere, the car can get stuck there. Other than that, you can sometimes pass inside NPCs and cars. Models can sometimesThe game is good when you put the bugs aside. I played for 17 hours and encountered only 3 bugs. Other than that, you can sometimes pass inside NPCs and cars. Models can sometimes appear low quality (very low poly). It is likely to recover after 3-5 seconds, so why the game requires ssd. Optimization is good, my GTX 1050 4GB vram laptop loads up great. I'm using the 1080p Low (Textures Ultra, Color setting high, everything else low, 50% Static scaling) settings. I get 35-50 FPS when driving in the open world (I did not go to the desert, only night city), I get 30-55 FPS indoors, in crowded places 20-25 FPS (CPU 100% graphics card in crowded places 80 %- 90). In the first 10 hours, the game ran stable, but after Prolouge, real bugs started. Sometimes I had to exit the game and re-enter. I've never had a crash from Autosaves (interesting). The car mechanics and physics are good but the camera angle (I'm talking tps) was a bit of a problem for me. Sometimes the physics engine can be troubled. The story is the best, no need to tell anyway, I played as street kid, the story is wrapped up me like crazy, I have occasional requests to continue the missions (they did what gta couldn't) Musics are ear orgasm. In short, the game is at an early access level for me. I give a score of 10/10 until the bugs are fixed in 3-5 months. If not resolved, my score may drop to 7-8/10.… Expand

    I have a powerful PC. Game on day one was had some minor visual bugs... I played for hours and ran into only a few small issues. The quick Patch on steam solved 90% of my issues with my game. pop in issues and characters that were glitching were mostly gone after the patch. Obviously not perfect, but I am hooked on the gameplay, the characters and the world they painstakingly built . NightI have a powerful PC. Game on day one was had some minor visual bugs... So far I have around 50 hours on steam and Im loving it. If you have a powerful high end Graphics card and processor do yourself a favor and get this game. In 6 months I hope they will smooth over all the issues and people will enjoy the game the way it was meant to be played. I hate to say it but CDPR should have delayed the game an extra 6 months for console bugs to get squashed and to tighten up the PC version.… Expand

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
