    I liked it, it is not the best game ever, but so little is so bad, it has some bugs and the textures sometimes load slowly. But i liked it

    It has brilliant characters and story, remarkable aesthetics and beautiful music - the overall feel of the genre is spot on. Gameplay has plenty of choice and can be interesting (it's cool how you can approach missions in many different ways), although some of the specs are really unbalanced in terms of power.     After the pretty bad launch and many updates later, the game is beautiful, optimized, just a good game.
    Small bugs sometimes, but not gamebreaking like in the first days.

    Level up system - Witcher was worse but could be more hack and slash/mount and blade game. A specially there is no world reset. (maybe with mods) Snipers and revolvers are so OP. My second character used miniguns and shotguns but they are weak.
    Too short main campaign. Alternate choices - i dont know it was worth. More comfortable would be to choose beetween angry and calm answers and reputation stats.
    Cars are pretending acceleration like "fast and furious" i dont like it a specially when car isnt accelerating or fps drop limits speed.    … Expand

    A gripping cool story and plenty of playtime. A game of hundreds of hours of gameplay, which captivated me beyond a child's age.

    Unfortunately this game couldn't live up the the hype. And the bad release did even more harm. Even then I think this game is great. The story and characters are great, the combat is good but feels awkward at times. Nights City is awesome but needs some activities.
    even with 1.5 it still has some bugs especially a lot of pop in.

    A phenomenal game that did not meet the inflated expectations. But over time, it reveals itself and against the background of the rest deserves great respect and exaltation. Required to pass.

    I played this game in the second half of 2021 and it was quige good experience, but not marvelous. For me it was 7,5/10. But now, when the game is update to version 1.5 it is simply amazing. Definitely the Best game I played for last few years. I give 10/10 even if there is still a few Little bugs.

    I played on PC on release and I was very lucky, I met a minimum of bugs.

    The game has an amazing storyline and atmosphere. The gameplay is average, the open world is below average.

    In general, I received a pleasant impression of the game and was very pleased.

    Waiting one year to play the game was worth it obviously. Thanks to the 1.5 patches I spent 80h on the game doing 100% of the game. It was a pleasure. A lot of russians mads in the reviews lately but don't doubt it's really a good game. BUT there is some downsides. Too much side stuff to do that are not really interesting.     A few minor bugs, but nothing game-breaking (so far); can run most of the time at locked 60fps on 5600x/3070 with RTX Ultra settings.

    First of all, I must say that I have almost no performance issues reported by many other players. I got a Ryzen 5800x with RTX 3090 and 32Gig of RAM. So with everything maxed out (including rays) I got stable 50 to 70 FPS. But there are lots of visual bugs and glitches like floating heads inside cars, people stuck in stairs, mirrors not showing your hat and so on. This can and will be fixed by CDPR soon, I have no doubts about. It is sad they had to launch the game in current unpolished state, but this is a minor annoyance. However, the game has many flaws that will be very hard to fix if possible at all. First, the RPG element almost nonexistent. Dialogue options are not options at all - V's personality is pre-set and you would not have a luxury to choose his mood or alter his attitude. Some dialogues will not conclude unless you choose ALL available response options one by one and only after that script moves you further. NPC will not react on how you look or how cool your car is. In fact, they will not be affected by your actions at all. I ran naked with a drawn katana in a public market and nobody gave a wet slap about that. I do not see how THAT can be fixed without rewriting half a game. The world is truly, stunningly beautiful and created with love. Especially if you are fan of Blade Runner, Neuromancer, Deus Ex, Matrix and all other things cyberpunk. And it is very sad you will not be able to interact with vast majority of things in this world: no playing on pachinko machines, no eating noodles in a chines street food stalls, no smashing vending machines for another can of cola. You are not even allowed to sit on a bench and admire the view unless it is required by a main questline script. And this is not likely to be fixed with future patches as well, I afraid.

    To sum it up. Buy it now at the full price only if you are hardcore cyberpunk fan. If you look for good RPG or even a decent bug-free action game, wait for future patches and discounts.
    Will be happy to return and give a higher rate later after this mess is patched. 4/10 now.

    update as of June 2023. Now it shines! Really, good job CDPR, you fixed almost everything that could be fixed. It's not a masterpiece like Witcher3, but a great game anyway. Go grab it.    … Expand

    It's a good game. People are complaining about bugs and performance issues and I agree that's a problem, but hopefully a fixable one. I don't really think it ruins the game.

    I'm literally having a blast with this game. It didn't totally live up to my expectations and it's bugged af, yes, but despite this I can't stop playing it. Every time I step foot into Night City I can't help but to feel completely immersed and entertained. It's probably the first time since Skyrim that I'm able to feel so connected with a digital open world.

    I'm having lots of fun until now. The Characters are unique and fun, the World is amazing and Gun/Swordplay is fun enough. I don't really fancy the Menu and Inventory System and sometimes the "Bro" Humor of my streetkid character is a little over the top, but apart from that, I love Night City. Its not a GTA, thankfully not a UbiSoft-like Game and also not really a Witcher Game, butI'm having lots of fun until now.     As for the technical state of the Game: Yes, there are some bugs here and there, but I've yet to experience any game breaking bugs. Worst I've had was a quest bug, where the quest did not continue for some reason, but a simple quick safe reload fixed that. Performance is alright, I'm getting round about 55fps with RTX OFF, Ultra Details and DLSS ON (Playing on a RTX 2070, Ryzen 1700, 32GB DDR4 3200 RAM, SanDsk Extrem Pro m.2 NVME SSD, Windows 10 1909, Newest Nvida Drivers, Game Version 1.04). RTX on drops me to 40 fps. All in all, on PC, which is what this section of Metacritic is for, I don’t think it’s as bad as some people want to make you believe. Then again, I might be one of the lucky ones, so your milage may vary. I can't talk about the consol versions, they really to look horrible, so maybe avoid those....    … Expand

Im always more willing to forgive the failings of things like Altered Carbon and Netrunner because its not a setting I often get to enjoy. On top of that my PC is very beefy so i diddnt run into the graphics issues that others have. I still ran into a few bugs but non of them gamebeaking andIts difficult to give a fair and unbalanced review as im a very big fan of cyberpunk settings. Im always more willing to forgive the failings of things like Altered Carbon and Netrunner because its not a setting I often get to enjoy. On top of that my PC is very beefy so i diddnt run into the graphics issues that others have. Ive been told that the game is too short but thats far from my experience but i did spend a lot of time just exploring and enjoying the side missions. The story is pretty good if predictable and the combat is solid. I wouldnt say great but stealth is really where the game shines.
    All in all its just a good game. lot of fun to play and an very interesting world to explore and learn about. it has its haters but its a new major release thats genuinely unaccessable to a large portion of the audience. so of course its gonna have haters.
    deffinately worth the pick up if your an RPG fan with a strong rig.    … Expand

    Only played 6-7 hours, but this game is definitely looking great, and the story is interesting.
    I haven't "found" any bugs yet, so pretty happy :)

    I'm runnaing a GTX 1070 Ti and i5-4670K at "Ultra"-Preset at constant 60 FPS. Main concern: My Mouse is too fast for the game, even with it set to the lowest sensitivity setting in game. And there is no way to change the cursor speed in the menus, so I either    I had some small issues.
    And only 1 crash at 22 hours playtime, which caused by me messing with graphics settings while in fight.

    Best story-telling I have ever seen in game production. The way that this makes you immerse into cyberpunk world is just breath taking ;) I expirienced just few minor glitches on premiere (patched drivers + patched game itself), nothing gamebreaking. I love combat system and the way guns feel, just love it!

    This game also really isn't as fun if you're running a generalist build so I highly recommend you specialise. I've done playthroughs where I first focused on Intelligence and Cool/Crafting, but it's a much slower-paced game.

    If you are new I recommend taking the Body tree, followed by Cool and Reflexs as that gives you the Sandevstan and all the best Cyberware in the game. Focus on the Body Stat first followed by Reflexes and Cool, starting with 6 Body, 6 Cool, and 4 Reflex and getting Cool to 7 before focusing on Body and then catching up reflexs is great as it lets you take the perk 15% more damage to all humans.

    The story isn't bad and the endings especially managed to get my interest a fair bit.    … Expand

    i've just finished the game. i spent 102 hours with one ending. +2 hours/ending, if you want to see all the endings. I did every sidequests, and collected every car. I think the main story is very interesting and esily to attract attention. Some side quests are boring, but some are very funny and imaginative. The rpg and gunplay parts are good, nothing special. I play on normal graphicsi've just finished the game. i spent 102 hours with one ending. +2 hours/ending, if you want to see all the endings. I did every sidequests, and collected every car. I think the main story is very interesting and esily to attract attention. Some side quests are boring, but some are very funny and imaginative. The rpg and gunplay parts are good, nothing special. I play on normal graphics and QHD, and it was good to me, but the game in low graphics is very ugly. I played after some huge patch pack, so i didnt experience bugs, only a few, but thoose are rather amusing than irritating. I didnt disappoint. It worth the full price. It is an excellent game. I dont understand the mass hysteria arund the game. I recommend the game for everyone, who likes the rpg/sci-fi.… Expand

    Currently (v1.04) buggier than an abandoned house but once they get that all sorted this will be a 10/10 masterpiece. The side quests are just absolutely amazing and genuinely interesting, probably even more so than the main story.

    I've been told there is transphobia in this game. I'm trans. If there's transphobia, I'm certainly not seeing it. I'm seeing a lot more gender expression freedom in this game than in anything else I've ever seen.    … Expand

    Love this game, my rig is nowhere near the Ultra specs but I can run it on Ultra turning shadows down. Little to no bugs or glitches on my end, and the graphics are phenomenal. Gameplay is quite amazing, Gunplay feels smooth and refined, melee combat is fast paced and quite deadly. The story is in depth and involved with so many side things, the amount of world interactivity isLove this game, my rig is nowhere near the Ultra specs but I can run it on Ultra turning shadows down. Yes I have not had many bugs unlike others but I waited till patch 1.04, however this game is not without issues still it has plenty of oomph to give. There is some difficulty curve early on if you go into the wrong side thing, but overall on PC the game feels good and clearly overspecced on the sheets for ultra. I thought they'd have more than 3 of the life paths, but only 3 kinda slim. Where is my rockerboy, razorgirl, etc? I hope they introduce more life paths later on, the conversion from tabletop to game feels good but limited in some regards. As an old tabletop player, I wish there was more from the book especially in life paths.

    Great world, great story, great game. I had almost no technical issues and in general one of the best game I have played in a while. Quite memorable moments as well. I’ll certainly replay it soon.

Storywise game is again fantastic (altough depressing as hell) Quests would work even without journal and mapmarkers as they are organicaly build into the world and give you (the player) sense of logic and natural consequences of working and living world. Characters are great and makes you consider your choices. Don't have problem with small only differences between the paths you choose at the beginning (since they are clearly representations of the endings you might want to choose at the grand finale). Even if we consider game much shorter than W3, it takes its time to develop characters and their storylines. Obviously at the end, you wish for more - but that seem to be normal with good game.
    NEGATIVES:
    As i said though, i have some issues. Many thing was said about bugs... ive encountered 3 that i think are worth to remember, rest are just very minor glitches that imho are not worth to cry about since they happened maybe once every 10 hours during my gameplay.

    First bug was one specific npc that was t-posing (only this one specific npc which baffles me).

    Second bug was pictured by a pair of motorcycles that swooshed from side alley into the pedestrians, killing them and causing panic on the sidewalk, just to eventually crash into a wall of nearby building (although it was epic and funny as **** it was a bug).
    .
    Third Bug forced me to reload previous save and i encountered it when ive got too far away from important conversation (apparently) and when ive returned quest didn't trigger next stage.
    .
    There was also fourth bug but it didn't have any consequences, though it was wierd encounter and overall funny (again). When you call Rogue through phone (anywhere outside afterlife), ask her about personal stuff and then mention Johnny Silverhand - she teleports to you no matter where you are. As i said this one didn't have any consequences (and by replicating bug i was able to teleport her back to Afterlife :P ).

    Anyway. Few other issues i have are desing problems.
    I use controller (though i play on PC) and noticed that crouch button is the same as skip button in conversations. Respec item allows you to respec skill points/perks but not the attributes which makes it useless in larger scale since attributes determine what kind of perks you can choose (or maybe this was already changed?). No changing your look during a game makes no sense to me - even if we don't see our character that often it seem to be a huge oversight from my perspective. Overall interactivness of the City seem to be shallow too. There is actually no activities outside of quests, not even something as simple to do as shooting range, repeatable car rides, obsctacle courses - anything that could throw more depth into actually impresive Night City. For same reason NPCs seem to just wander aimlessly the streets for no reason and do nothing which causes more problems the longer you think about it. Night City needs more Depth, and need it quickly. Another thing that makes no sense to me is (as it was in Witcher 3) LOOT SYSTEM... why i need to wander around whole city just to find piece of clothing i might want? Instead of giving me a choice to wear whatever i might want? Imho every single cloth we buy should be also upgradeable to Legendary status (through lower ones) since as well we could build legend (sort of speak) of our pants, blouse, jacket or whatever (like Johnny Silverhan did with his pants). AC Odyssey did it perfectly (wear what you want, upgrade what you can, make it look whatever you like system in AC Odyssey is still superior. Didn't played Valhalla yet).    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is an absolute masterpiece to me. Best game I've ever played since years.

    The main story is gorgeous, well-written and mind blowing. Each character have their own storyline, sometimes very addictive. Judy is the best NPC written since years. Her side quests about Clouds are amazing and her final mission underwater is breath-taking. Panam and River are also very good side characters.
    Voice acting is gorgeous too, in addition to a perfect OST.

    So bad this game suffered from such a bad release on consoles. We were (and still are) bugs on the PC version, but the game really does not deserve such violence.    … Expand

    Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that supports pivotal gameplay and superb storytelling. The issues with this game are the"occasional bugs" as I put in quotes because its minor texture bugs that will be addressed in a simple patch. Overall, this game is a wonderful and beautiful game that has tons of content.

    Gameplay is very fun and quite fast based. The story is great and many missions are exciting. The city is beautiful and full of content and things to do. NPC AI is lacking but i don't care. Graphics are amazing especially on Ultra. I've heard that other players are having many bugs but that hasn't been my experience.

    I'm writing this review for the game about 5 days after release. For my middle to higher end PC the game runs very well. The graphics look great and the gameplay is very fun. There are still quite a few bugs which why I can't currently rate it higher. But none of the bugs I've experienced have been game breaking. The cops spawn at random when you break the law and it breaks immersion pretty hard, also other cars don't drive around you if you park in the road so if you leave your car in the street you can end up with a massive traffic pile up instead of the npc's finding a way around your vehicle, it's just lazy designing and I hope they make it better. Overall the story is very interesting and fun and I look forward to playing the game multiple times and seeing what all it has to offer!… Expand

    The Storytelling was a bit obviously and easy to predict, so not many "Woah im suprised" Moments, but overall still very well done.
    The whole 100h Playthru for me felt like Binge watching your favourite Series.
    Voice Actors did amazing Jobs and i had Fun to explore every Corner of the World.

    Really a shame that it will never be GotY due to all the Bad reputation it has due to missmanagement.    … Expand

    Love it. Yeah sure some technical glitches here and there, but taking a stroll in Night City and taking in the sights and the sounds makes me want to visit that city. Worldbuilding at its finest! Characters and quests are amazing, too. Driving and gunfights are very enjoyable as well.

    Guys, dont be crazy! Give it a chance, wait a week or two. Played on PC, i had the best experience in last 10 years. Worthy comparison: HL2, Deus ex, W3, Bioshock Infinite. 10/10.

I'm a little salty that you don't get to keep your loot found in the final mission after completing one of several endings and are just rewound to continue doing more side missions and experience alternate endings.

    The story was OK. At some points I found it a little boring. I felt forced to help out a lot of dead end characters that didn't really advance the story much and was just filler. There were several events the game led you down as part of the main story that didn't advance the story of the character much but more told a story about the city or outside of the city. Areas that I didn't care about or were not exposed to long enough to care about.

    The character leveling system was interesting. The amount of EXP gained by completing the game doing main story mostly felt underwhelming. I would have loved to unlock more than 1 tree. I couldn't figure out how to refund points I invested into the trees at the character creation not understanding how they worked.

    With about 20 hours in I'm not sure this game has an end game to keep me playing. I can do more side missions and max out my gear but I'm not sure what's the point when I'm already mowing down enemies with my sword in 1 or 2 hits. I'll be interested to hear about what DLC will bring to the game. I have a feeling that the game in 1-2 years from now will be the complete version.    … Expand

    Так же хочу отметить очень плохую физику вождения транспорта, вообще не приятно перемещаться на транспорте мне интереснее пробежать 2 км к заданию чем к нему ехать, транспорт практически никак не реагирует на повреждения.
    Сюжет и атмосфера самой игры затягивает, с каждым побочным заданием мне все больше интересно исследовать мир и погружаться в атмосферу города.
    Про стрельбу я ничего не могу сказать так как мои руки не были созданы для шутерных игры, я все пытаюсь решить с помощью стелса, более-менее хорошие зачатки стелса тут присутствуют.    … Expand

Combat and driving are very good if you are expecting an RPG, they are good enough but not as fantastic as a combat focused game/racing focused game. The action gets more fun when you evolve your character, giving you many hacking possibilities, which reminds me a lot of Deus Ex Mankind Divided. There are many references to other games as well, and funny stuff going on around the city if you just stop and look around! On PC and Next gen consoles, yes, the game is buggy, but nothing above the average, ppl are being more vocal about it because there was so much hype for this game, I have seen much worse games on release bug-wise than this one. And if you are on the last gen console ps4/xbox base console, I would wait, because in that case, the game seems to be indeed unplayable.

    This is a spectacular game! Good graphics! Good gameplay! Spins at 85-95fps without breaking. Good story. I played for 27h and I'm loving it. I don't give 10 stars, because it has some bugs. They don't hinder the gameplay, but they are bugs.

    One of the coolest, best looking and most impressive games in existence. The performance isn't great on my mid end pc, but even on med/low settings the game looks great. There is a serious bug problem and the game certainly needs more polish, but once this is done i think this might be one of the best games there is.

    I don't really like the scaling of enemies which causes most fight to be either to easy or impossible (high level enemies will kill you with 1 bullet even if you are a tank).
    The loot system could be a lot better. I don't like picking up lots of items just to disassemble them for parts. The rarity system also is kind of basic.    … Expand

    this is a solid game, story, side quests, etc etc couple more bug fix patches and i could easliy give it a 9 out of 10, the people complaining about bugs need to realize how big the game is and get over themselves, the same could be said for the folks complaining about the detail for current gen consoles (which i am playing on btw, ps4)

    When it comes to combat the guns feel good to shoot them melee weapon i can't say a lot about because i havent used them that much the only thing i hate about weapons and gear is that every 5 seconds you'll find a better weapon than what you have so you spent a long time in your inventory.

    The skill tree is huge and you can't unlock a lot of levels in each skill or tree because the game is kinda stingy when it comes to xp so i feel it takes me for ever to level up.

    The NPC daily routine is none existing the traffic is kinda acting weird in a lot of cases but when it comes to driving the cars feels ok and looks amazing from the outside and the inside.

    The atmosphere of the city is so beautiful you'll find yourself stopping every now and then to look at the amazing city especially if you have a hight end PC.

    If you're like me and minor bugs don't bother you that much i recommend this game for you other wise wait for more patches to com out.    … Expand

Basically no matter PC or Console, your equipment needs to be no more than 2 years old or it will be aTriee to run on two pc's. Персонажи, истории, невероятное количество побочных квестов позволяют с головой погрузится в этот мир, который когда то был мрачным и буквально отталкивающим. Когда раньше всем правил бунтарский дух, а теперь апатией и желанием выжить. Ужасной обреченностью, что невозможно ничего исправить. Мрак украсили хромом и позолотой и теперь стараются жить дальше, но... ты можешь попытаться. Вдруг у тебя получится и ты станешь легендой и в честь тебя назовут напиток в баре.

    Не вглядывайтесь в картинку. Не ищите баги. Попробуйте уловить ту душу, которая была вложена в проект, эмоции и энергию. И может вы научитесь отличать коммерческие высеры с номером вместо названия от настоящих шедевров.

    Playing this on XBOX One X, have to say I was worried given all I heard. I am however pleasantly surprised, games beautiful, not perfect but excellent use of scenery and immersion. This is a Bethesda bug kinda game. Maybe playing them my whole life has made me appreciate what's in front of me and move on

    Cyberpunk 2077 is a solid video game! I love being in the world and it really makes me want to play through the game multiple times. Yes it has its problems just like any new open world game It has bugs it crashes and it has poor performance issues on older hardware but I believe in CD project red and I believe that they can fix these issues just like they did in the Witcher 3.

    As a long time fan of the cyberpunk genre I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Game has run smoothly on ultra on my mid tier rig. The game really captures the spirit of cyberpunk. It checks all the boxes. I highly recommend this to any PC gamer.

    The soundtrack is incredible, their density of things to do per square meter is astounding and a testimony of stage design and world building. Storytelling is great and atmosphere is phenomenal. Customisation is lacking but very well executed. Level of detail is breathtaking and textures (when they load) are beautiful. From the art design to the animation work this game breathes a life of its own, truly this city could feels alive if the AI functioned immersively.

    So much potential is damn right ruined when taking your time to analyse the sandbox open world elements. Beautiful city, gorgeous views and immersive atmospheric. However, the AI is broken, features are missing by the dozens and customisation changing services are missing. This game would benefit greatly from cutscenes for various common tasks such as getting new implants, drinking and eating / buying from vendors.

    Notably this game has some really great character progression and perk systems. Crafting has a purpose and combat feels great. I adore this game's RPG character class building and its affect on roleplaying in dialogue, but it could always do with more. The levelling and character progression is not only fun but deep and a great motivator to engage in Night Cities dynamic activities & side missions.

    The worst thing by leagues and the problem that really needs to be addressed is the AI behaviour, reactivity, routines and crowd activity. At the moment the NPC's do not respond to the player in any meaningful way. You need to feel some consequence to your basic activity. If you shot, punch or be aggressive the crowd needs to do things besides crouch down in one single overly used animation. In general NPC's lack reactivity to both player and their environment. The world might be detailed and fully realised by the NPC's inhabiting it feel lifeless borderline copy pasted. Often times there is one single beautiful animation that a citizen is performing and no matter what, they will not shift or cycle or react to stimuli aside from violence and death.

    Lastly, the police response is severely limited borderline silly. Instead of spawning in out of thin air they should really converge on your location using cars and otherwise pursuing the player. There is very limited amount of sand in this box. Let us play around with some organic mechanics outside missions. Creating a sense of organic escalation with such a great and engaging combat would make this game incredibly fun.

    Missions are mostly amazing though. Voice acting performances are incredible and characterisation of the key players is not only captivating but deeply human, disturbingly accurate and at times breathtaking. I cannot oversell the quality of writing and the interest the parallels of Night City with modern day urban life brings to the table.

    CDPR, you can definitely make this game a masterpiece.PLEASE please don't give up on it. I haven't been able to put this game down despite my criticism. A short review from a fan with over 25 hours and counting in the game.

    Story is great. Fully voice acted everywhere with some of the highest quality voice acting ive seen, including excellently cast main characters, side quests. average joes on the street. Big bombastic moments with great tension but not afraid to get slow and emotional as well.

    Gameplay is fairly good but not standout, you wont be buying this game purely for the driving or combat, they are serviceable and fit in nicely, never felt draining to have to drive around or get into a gunfight. Plenty of things to see, conversations to overhear, quests to find and so on.

    Sidequests and quests and romance options and general role playing elements were definitely highlights, I genuinely couldnt wait for some phone calls or text messages from some of my favourite characters. Some sidemissions in CB2077 could easily pass for a top notch main storyline in some other games so nothing but praise here.

    Customization is actually very nice. You can spec very hard into a specific role and they are are all definitely viable. Out of all the rpgs ive played this customisation feels fresh and fun, and the combat sequences as well as various skillchecks (be it in combat or out) allow you to roleplay and add depth. I specced as a cold-blooded stealth handgun user, my stealth critical headshots with an iconic upgraded suppressed revolver do thousands of damage per hit, but as soon as s**t hits the fan I turn into a wet noodle and have to rely on other things ive picked up, it actually feels genuine with a good risk reward factor, allowing me to play how I want, and as I said most scenarios allow whatever method you choose to work.

    Sound is another great aspect, with banging tunes that fit the style, plenty of varied radio stations, lived-in atmospheric sounds like driving in the city at night in the rain, it feels good, and as I said before the voice actor is fantastic.

    Visuals are ground-breaking - if you have the PC hardwdare to back it up. Thanks to a myriad of options you can fine tune the framerate to visual standard. I played on a 2070 Super + i5 10600k to a stable overclock and managed around 60-80 FPS in heated moments on 1440p Ultra, no raytracing and DLSS on quality. Its absolutely stunning with great views with actual variation in locales, you can definitely tell where youre going based on each districts distinct visual style. Make sure to turn raytracing off unless you can really afford it, and DLSS is a huuuuuge game changer if you have an NVidia card that supports it.

    There are bugs, no beating around the bush but, whether Im just lucky or they havent really been that annoying, I personally didnt see many issues. Nothing game breaking or progress stopping for sure. The game autosaves frequently if you forget to manual save so if youre in a weird position (like if you fall of a motorcycle and get stuck in a wall on occasion) or seem to have encountered a bug, a quick reload usually does the trick. Some slight animation glitches or t-posing models asserting their dominance.. yeah its a bit of an immersion breaker but thankfully not too frequent either. Some of these bugs im sure would lower the score for others, but theres already been 4 patches since day 1 as of the time of writing (which amount to like 8 GB lol) and im sure they will continue doing their best to make it the best version of the product they can. Again, these issues didnt bother me enough to ruin my enjoyment or lower the score, a great game all in all, though not a mind-blowing revolution of gaming like people hyped it up to be, as im sure most reasonable people expected.    … Expand

    I’m given to understand that many people have performance issues in this game, but according to my own experience, the game runs well on a GTX 1060 after the last patch (v1.04) and so far I’ve been enjoying everything about this game from the stunning visuals to the gameplay and story. Another quality game from CDPR save for the buggy and unstable launch.

    This game is just incredible. Some minor bugs encountered in 30 hours of gameplay. This game looks amazing even on medium/high settings on PC, beware this is all a 1080Ti can muster on 1440p and still be playable. My biggest annoyance is that I didn't get my hands on a next gen graphics card on time, but I'm looking forward to that.

    One of the best experiences of the year. Bad optimization is not what we should worry about. Amazing characters, story and the world. This game helped me to come out from depression with motivating story of the main character. I love you, CD Projekt RED. Thank you so much.

    Cyberpunk overall is a great game. It has amazing story, great gameplay and superb city to explore. But technical issues are worse than anybody expected. Witcher 3 also was bugged at premiere, but it was running more smoothly on consoles at time of release. If i was playing this game on PS4 or Xbone One, rather than my old but still good PC, the score would be at least one point lower. ICyberpunk overall is a great game.     The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
